Very enjoyable lunch, great food and ambiance as always at Colchester Carluccios

We shared a starter - just as we nearly finished the waitress apologised for not giving us some plates. I had the ravioli with ricotta with a sage & butter sauce- it was absolutely unedable the ravioli was drowned in a greasy cheesy sauce. No hint of sage in it. Never going back

Incredibly rushed by staff. I get that the restaurant is busy but it’s awful feeling hurried whilst ordering/eating etc.

Delicious food and the restaurant held the table, which was good as I was delayed with my elderly mother. Quality and value was great. It was very busy at 12.30pm and we waited a while for the food but it was worth it. Lovely waitress too.

food was average and not that hot, also portion size was small for paperdella ragu. Also, parmasan was offered from a small bowl and spoon. Should really be a whole parmasan grated for the customner at the table,
