Having been regular customers at the Panda Garden for the last 35 years, we are delighted that the Castle Chinese restaurant has taken up their premises and are providing such good food and a pleasant ambience. It was a busy Saturday evening but the service was good, pace of food arriving just right and some very nice dishes, all freshly made.
The menu was quite varied. There were just two of us but the starter came at completely different times. When we asked to see the dessert menu, it was as though they didn't want to be bothered and the bill was placed on the table, just after the dessert was served.
Good range of dishes - turned up just in time to have the 2 course lunchtime menu and added a portion of chow mein noodles. Quality was very good - will definitely visit again
Excellent food and friendly efficient staff! Especially enjoyed the free orange pieces we got after the meal ☺️Would very highly recommend if you haven’t been here before!
Food ok - not stunning. Staff welcoming. Table was very close to other customers - too close - asked to move and was put at a table right next to kitchen. Tiger beer - small bottle - was 4.00!
Very friendly customer service as always. Only problem was that we ordered more food than we could eat!
