Quiet when we went which was nice , nice young girl serving,very attentive, food well presented , no so sure about kitchen staff finishing for the day walking through the restaurant and sitting at the bar

Would have been a nice meal but everything was either Luke warm or stone cold and we were the only people being served so no excuse

Fantastic food with fantastic service. Staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make it a very enjoyable lunch. Bottomless proseco was brilliant! We will be going back!

Lovely restaurant we especially love the duck and the cocktails are also delicious. Sometimes noisy but overall a lovely place for two or a crowd

We asked for a sauce to be warmed because last time it was served cold and was told it wasn't possible even though it's served warm in all other places we have been and secondly the Mac and cheese was dry, it seemed to be pasta with melted cheese on top and the steak very fatty. The waitress was friendly but the food wasn't worth the money

As great as ever and fantastic value on 'Steak Night' with half price on their delicious steaks - the martinis were very popular too! Highly recommend

We had a brilliant time. The food was excellent. The Sicilian White for Seventeen pounds was superb. Love this place the atmosphere gives you the impression you are in a centre London location. I had the hamburger and was so impressed with the way it was cooked...just excellent..... My wife had the tiger prawns...excellent. The bill was just shy of seventy pounds...very good value.

Food and service was lovely. Can't fault either, and the cocktails were pretty good too! Maybe next time it might be nice not to be sat next to the bar as the blender going every 5 minutes was both hilarious and infuriating in equal measure.

The food was amasing, very impressed but unfortunately the noise levels take away the enjoyment. The restaurant needs more soft furnishing to help soften the noise levels.

Possibly one of the best restaurants I have eaten in. Half price steak Monday and burger & lobster £20 Wednesday. How could I say no? I have never had such a good deal before - plus it was one of the best meals I have ever had! Definitely recommend to everyone.

The food was good but we were seated outside the toilet and this completely ruined the atmosphere. You go out to enjoy atmosphere and company and this wasn't possible opposite the toilet!

Food was lovely but over priced. Bit of a con not to mention that you must purchase a starter in order to receive 50% off a steak. with no sides included. Also if you require water with your meal or a drop of soda with your drink ask for tap, as we wete charged £7.50 for the privilege. Mocktail lovely 😄

Stylish appearance and decor, unfortunately staff are inexperienced, cocktails not good so had to return them to the bar, wrong wine sent to the table. The food was average, doubtful we will return.

Great food, very friendly service and a good atmosphere. Only downside is that it can get very loud when busy, but does not spoil a good evening.

Good service and ambience. Some excellent food but the meat was slightly disappointing. Not inexpensive but overall value was reasonable. Some may find the acoustics off putting.

Great food, friendly and efficient service. My steak was cooked to perfection as was my wife's. Visited prior to cinema visit and staff made sure we were not kept waiting.

Food was amazing and not to expensive. Staff were lovely and the service couldn't of been better. So clean and loved the way the restaurant is decorated. Cocktails were also great. Definitely going back great place for a birthday my mum had the best time!

Staff good - menu really exciting-didn't know what to choose - food at best mediocre which was a real shame came away feeling very disappointed

Very noisy,took a long time to clear surrounding empty tables.Cocktails good,food average,staff very pleasant,reasonably priced.Parking was a bit of a mission,weekends must be a lot worse,so arrive with time to spare.

Food was very good Service excellent especially our waitress first class, A most enjoyable afternoon. Need more restaurants like this in Oxted will be returning to this restaurant again.

We were the only people in restaurant for lunch, but it was a Tuesday. Because of this it lacked the buzz and atmosphere. Staff were lovely. Good menu and prices. Will go again but will try an evening and sample the cocktail menu!

Good food, great cocktails and lovely helpful staff. We were a table of six, food was served fresh and hot. Good amount of time in between courses, no rushing. 8pm booking.

The Fillet steak was to die for. Side order of spinach was the star surprise. As was the choc mouse. Plus very attentive staff. We shall be coming back.

Disappointing really. First visit - thought we would try the half price steaks as advertised on the website but they are only half price if you have a starter. We never have starters - it is not clear from the website. So I had fish cakes which were lukewarm, dry and tasteless - thank goodness for tomato sauce! Friend had a burger which was ok. The waitress however was very friendly and attentive. Would not return to eat there but maybe have a drink in the bar sometime.

Lovely lunch for my sister's birthday, served by friendly, efficient staff. Good selection of cocktails and set lunch reasonably priced. We will definitely be returning.

We had a great evening. Service was brilliant, steaks extremely tasty, and the cocktails very moreish!! So we had more|! Our waitress was very friendly and efficient.

Top quality steaks at a very reasonable price. Nice surroundings. Service a tad slow, but it was very busy so to be expected. Overall, very good evening.

Terrible wait at the bar on arrival. When we sat down to eat the food was served cold without any side dishes. The service was incredibly slow.

We hadn't heard good reports on Cattle and Cocktail but wanted somewhere different to go as we knew all the other eating places in Oxted well. Reserving a table on line couldn't have been easier and we are pleased to say that we had a most enjoyable time. Front of house staff were friendly, polite and helpful, the wine was good value and the food delicious. Only one hiccup on the steaks which was quickly resolved and they too were tastey and cooked as required. Good choice of food for non meat eaters but then if you are a true vegie, why go to eat at a venue entitled "Cattle". Would we go again - definitely.

Food is very very disappointing and overpriced for what it is, cocktails are good and the redeeming feature, wouldn't go back to eat in the future

Good food but service very slow. Took 40 mins for wine to arrive at table and ended up asking for it twice. Also took a long time (30 mins plus) for someone to come and take our drinks / food order. It was a sat night and full but looks like they could have done with more staff. Shame as the food was lovely.

Very Noisy indeed ! not soft decorations to absorb the noise ! Starter were luke warm and i had to send my mains back the steak was so over done and the sauce was cold ! so we eat separately ... food was very average sadly ! we will not return !

The food is excellent but the service can be a little be slow. Also the cocktail area at the front of the restaurant can get a little bit noisy. Overall it's a great restaurant and would definitely go again

the food at cattle and cocktail was amazing, had the halloumi to start and fillet steak for main, but the best part was the chocolate brownie which was huge and so gooey in the middle it was to die for! And the cocktails were great too!!
