CAU - Cambridge

Our party of seven encountered a friendly and efficient staff who were attentive without being too obtrusive. The meal was of excellent quality, especially in view of the great value-for-money. Several of my friends said that they would return, a view I shall endorse in practice.

The food was delicious and the service was great, I would definitely go again, was a fab precursor to a brilliant gig at the corn exchange

Brilliant food, good atmosphere and service. A little disappointed with the cocktails not as good as I remembered but the wine was lovely. Would recommend for anyone who really enjoys top quality meat.

Good food, prompt service with smiley staff. The music was very unplifting too. Particularly yummy hummus and flatbread starter followed by tasty steak with HUGE onion rings!

The food was excellent, as always. The service was also good, but the staff were a little low to give us the bill and then also took a long time to pay the bill.

good food, they are changing menu but keeping quality and the best and most popular dishes. our waitress Ines was very nice, kind and helpful, giving great advice.

Unfortunately we had to request our water 3 times. It arrived after we had finished eating. I would also like to comment that the linguine was a bit bland. Otherwise lovely food. And staff were very kind.

A really lovely restaurant in central Cambridge. Service was friendly and attentive, and we got a seat in the window with great lighting and views onto the street. My halloumi salad was a generous portion size, and the steak was excellently cooked.

Busy but very good service and the meal itself was again excellent. Wine list is fine. Recommend the hummus starter and (for sharing if you are not sure about calories!) the cornflakes dessert!

Good ambience, we were near the door but even when it opened we did not get cold. Flod was also enjoyable and they catered to all requests.

Been previously and like before didn’t disappoint. Good location, good food, good ambience.. what more do you need from a restaurant; aside from the fact the starters and mains were so substantial that I couldn’t tackle a pudding. Great way to finish a day of sightseeing and shopping in Cambridge.

Another visit to one of our favourite restaurants. Busy, vibrant, but not quite as sharp on food quality and service as we have been used to.

Overall we had a good meal with good service. The steak was excellent and we enjoyed all the side orders. The staff were attentive and helpful.

Shocking, table wasn't ready, manager didn't care. We we're told to go elsewhere for a drink and they would call us when our table was ready. Never received any call. Thank you CAU for ruining my girlfriends birthday.

I can highly recommend the Sunday Roast - the beef was cooked perfectly as you would expect from a steak restaurant. Would definitely go again
