Mostly an enjoyable experience, staff reluctance to make minor alterations implies to me that things in the kitchen are portioned up and ready to go. We enjoyed the early bird menu which I can recommend, it’s excellent value. A lovely house red was enjoyed at a reasonable price. One of our party was ill following her meal that she feels was the chicken burger. Lovely restaurant atmosphere, plastic swivel chairs get the thumbs down from me though sorry. The starters were lovely, I had the carpaccio beef which I recommend. It’s a shame it didn’t come with any bread or pita or something.

A beautiful restaurant in an excellent location. Attentive and knowledgeable staff. The restaurant has a lovely environment that is relaxing and modern. I had the hummus and medallions which I would highly recommend.

Great food as always. Service brilliant too, thank you George. It is so much easier mid week to park nearby and get a table. Good to see it fairly busy in January considering how much competition there is in Harrogate.

Booked table but still had to wait 30 mins to be seated. Nice food slightly overpriced for the portion size you get. Lunches look better value

Best steak in harrogate. Friendly staff and good service. No rushing or pressures to hurry your food. Starters, mains and desserts all very nice. Would recommend we went for my sons 21st.

We've had two very good meals here, the staff are helpful and unobtrusive, food and wine good and the music too! We will go again.

Warm welcome and helpful staff generally. The steak was tender, and cooked "medium rare" to perfection. We wanted a change from the traditional Sunday roast. While glad we stuck with our steaks, the Sunday roast at the next table looked awesome!

The stems here are amazing and the wines lovely. Friendly staff and efficient. Just one note, the sauces are served cold, apparently this is normal! The rosemary mushrooms are to die for. Thank you for a lovely night.

Very attentive staff and lovely food (though the salad you get with the steak is minuscule- could do with being a bit bigger). I’m going back for breakfast as that looked good too! Great location in town, just around the corner from the Everyman cinema.

Starters were good. For the main my pork belly was dry and a little tough. My wifes steak was more medium when it should have been rare, she ordered the medallions and one was really nice despite being over cooked but the other was a little tough and chewy as well as being overdone. Staff were good and the steak was removed from the bill as she raised this issue. Overall a little underwhelmed.

Meat was ok but I've had better steak in a private family run restaurant. Also felt it was a very noisy environment. This is not a cheap place to dine and trying to discuss business with important clients was difficult.

Great as usual. Quite expensive but you pay for top quality and the place to go for steak. I look forward to my next visit!

The food is pretty good, you can tell its an automated chain, our starters were whipped away (95% finished) and the steaks arrived. Shame really as our table will not have been used again, so what's the rush?
