A retirement gift voucher meant a drive of over 1 hour, it was well worth the drive. Both the starts were beautifully prepared with great flavours. The mains did not disappoint either, as the chicken was really tender and the pasta cooked just right. How they could possibly make a profit with the size of the portions is hard to believe. Top restaurant.

Lovely restaurant, very friendly, polite staff. Good food, overall a very good experience however the service was a little on the low side - perhaps due to it being quite busy. This was my second visit and I will go back

Not very good really. Food Luke warm and all arrived at different times, first one had finished eating before last one had started. Wouldn't go back

Food excellent as always but service was poor NYE waited 1/2 hour for order to be taken in hoping this was a one off as normally not an issue!

No record of online booking but this was sorted very quickly by a very helpful member of staff. Food and service was great, would recommend.

Food was lovely especially the fillet steak. pudding was of a good size and also very tasty. service was especially one young waitress who was really helpful. would recommend to anyone looking for a nice place to eat down south road

Great food, however atmosphere could be improved by playing music and more staff waiting on or better trained to cope with 3 tables on their own.

Got stuffed mushrooms and they were dried out, had to send steak back as was still bleeding, chef said had not read order properly. Waitresses good, but food mediocre

Great food, great service. For a Saturday night the service was quick and very friendly. First time I've seen live entertainment, bit loud, but ok.

I have not used Quandoo before. I found it really simple and easy to place the reservation. Will definitely use again and recommend to others.

Best place to eat in the area. Portions are huge and quality is amazing. Exceptional staff and food is incredible. Will return soon and bringing more people

Extremly slow service waited nearly two hours then gave up. No Christmas dinner this year. Very disappointed . Long hair found in starter. Cold venue. Etc the list goes on.

Excellent food and service. Lovely atmosphere. Food was well presented. All food made on site and desserts were delicious, especially the home made cheese cake.
