The service was very good efficient friendly and polite. The food was outstanding all perfectly cooked and seasoned. I couldn’t recommend Chadwicks enough We had the goats cheese and chicken starters. Steak and beef cheek for mains (beef cheek was amazing) and Bakewell tart and cheese board for dessert

Reliably good as usual! This pub always has a warm, friendly atmosphere. The staff were welcoming and remembered that one of us was vegetarian which we’d mentioned at the time of booking (they had a separate vegetarian menu). Service was prompt and the food was very good. An enjoyable evening was had by all. Thank you!

Late being seated at table. Took almost an hour before our food was brought out. Portion sizes were very small. Despite this staff were very pleasant.

First time here. Excellent food in nice surroundings. Only down side was service was slow but it was a busy Saturday night! Would definitely go again.

The staff are friendly, welcoming and attentive, and the atmosphere is relaxed. I liked being able to grab a drink first, with our order taken before we were shown through to our table. Most importantly the food was delicious and beautifully presented. Couldn't fault it and we'll be visiting again.

The service was excellent, the quality of food superb, and very high standards were maintained. A thoroughly enjoyable meal, and we will most definitely return for another meal soon.

A fantastic place and would definitely eat there again. My only gripe is that the lamb main was undercooked to the point where is was hard to cut and quite chewy due to the fat content.

Food beautifully presented and equally as delicious. Wine choices and knowledge of staff of both food and wine 5 star. Relaxed, efficient and smiling staff. Truly a great evening .

Excellent service and totally amazing food with a great wine list. The Whitby crab starter is the best starter I’ve ever had. Will definitely be returning.

It was over priced for what you got and not a great deal of choice and variety. The lamb we had was nice but maybe too posh nosh for my liking

Smart & sophisticated restaurant that oozes class! They even serve champagne by the glass, which is right up my street. Myself & a group of friends enjoyed a delightful Sunday lunch at Chadwicks - the meat was cooked perfectly & melted in the mouth. The staff were also welcoming & attentive throughout. Good quality food and house wines but very slow service. Set menu was single choice for each course, with main course unchanged from previous visit.

This place just gets better. New additions to menu to keep it fresh for us regulars, great service, top quality food and a lovely atmosphere.

Very good restaurant. We have visited a number of times and enjoyed every meal. Quality of food and cooking as good as any more expensive taster menu.

Very nice although the portions were slightly small for me. Also slightly disappointed to be charged £4 for a bottle of mineral water when I only wanted tap water.

Have loved this place in the past but today was more than disappointed. Asked for wine list which I received but no one came back to take an order so we didn’t actually manage to have any wine. Sunday lunch arrived but then went cold as vegetables and gravy etc took another 5 minutes. Food was very nice but we were not asked at any point if everything was ok despite being only one of 3 tables in the restaurant and around 6 members of staff. Such a shame as food was very good and in the past the service has been excellent

There's always a warm welcome. The staff are friendly and the food is delicious. Steak night Wednesday is always a treat. Another great night at Chadwicks.

I just love this place I don’t come often but I know it’s consistent which is a huge thing for me. I know what I like and how I like it. Plus any extra the staff are only willing to help. I just wish I could afford to eat here all the time. Oh well best keep it for the special occasions. Thanks guys
