Fantastic food and service. Duck was great, desserts awesome and wine list varied.

We had the 3 course Sunday lunch , it was perfect

As usual, really good food, pleasant atmosphere and good service.

Very lovely visit with my elderly Mum who needs space to get her walker in and low level noise to hear, both were excellent.

Went for Sunday lunch, had a three course meal.. prawn cocktail, beef dinner and sticky toffee pudding. All three were simple but done really well! Staff were very friendly and accommodating! Highly recommended, would visit again.

The food as ever was fabulous. Only minor gripes were the waitress didn't serve one of our ordered drinks and our main (Chateaubriand) took a long time to come - around 40 mins - and it seemed fairly quiet on the night. But all in all, a lovely night out.

Perfect salmon mousse presentation and flavour balance definitely Michelin star quality. Very good chateau briand with risotto and truffle sauce. Superb gastropub excellent value. 5 stars!

Had a lovely night out. The waitresses apologised due to having to wait too long for side dishes to being served & were refunded for them. The staff handled the situation politely & professionally.

Highly disappointed with both the wait and the service of the staff. Booked a table for our anniversary for 7.30, we waited 45 minutes to be seated - simply not acceptable, if I wanted a table for 8.15 I would’ve booked it for that time!!! The service when we’ve visited before has been nothing less than exceptional - last night we weren’t asked whether we wanted more drinks and the level of service seemed like the waiting staff simply couldn’t be bothered. After finishing our meals we were not offered the dessert menu, which on previous occasions we have been. Again, on previous occasions there has been a small food item brought prior to our courses coming, this didn’t happen. All in all a thoroughly disappointing night. If that had been the first time we had visited Chadwicks there would be absolutely no way that we would be returning !!!!! A tip was simply not worthy of last nights experience
