Lasso a group of your best fighting friends and head to the foot of the Ropewalks for a truly novel bar and restaurant courtesy of Chamber 36. If you’re willing to take the challenge, there’s nigh on 36 Oriental street food options available here, ranging from dim sum to grilled dishes, bao to desserts, with warrior-class drinks to boot. The signature si-fu mai is described as the ‘master of all dim sum’ and is packed with prawn and pork, the best bao in our books is the crispy shredded Peking duck with Hoisin sauce, while the sweetly seductive Flying Bao is a deadly dessert. All this bare knuckle Chinese tapas and cocktail action is packed into harmonious premises on the corner of Back Knight and Berry Street with a view of the Chinatown Arch.

Visited with friends on a busy Saturday evening. The food was Excellent and come quickly. The service was excellent too. We will be returning for sure.
Everything was just really lovely! There were three of us & we all said the same thing - that we would definitely go back again!
Excellent food and service would highly recommend. The Prosecco was the best I have had for a long time. Very pleasant atmosphere well chosen choice.
Qualité de la nourriture excellente. Très bonne ambiance dans le restaurant, malgré la musique un peu forte. Soirée en couple très agréable. Nous recommandons les cocktails ;-)
We went to celebrate a friend's birthday and we all ordered the brunch with bottomless prosecco. The service was great and they were quick to top up the prosecco! I had the fishcakes and duck salad which were both delicious. Others had the Duck Bao which was great as well. I would definitely recommend Chamber 36.
Arrived early but sat down straight to table without option of sitting at bar. Asked for cocktail without ice. Ordered drink which came with lots of ice. Food was good and tasty and well presented. Would like more choic of martini type cocktails in addition to specialities of the house as too much ice and mixers can detract from the taste of the food. Would also like options of har bow. Liked the vibe, although a kid was screaming throughout the meal. Music didn't over power and was mix of relaxed and beat. Could do with a screen around toilet area. We had constraint stream of people and they felt a bit awkward standing waiting. A simple screen would help and there is plenty of room for that. Overall definitely worth a visit.
I absolutely love this place. Fresh tasty food, great drinks, inviting and warm atmosphere and amazing staff. Once again Jade our host/waitress was attentive, friendly and professional she really takes pride in her job. Thanks to the whole team you really are a cut above the rest and I will be visiting again soon. :-)
Chamber 36 Always have great food and service, plus the cocktails are awesome! I would definitely recommend this restaurant to all my friends and family
Food and service was excellent, value for money was great too, my only critique was the very centre of my salmon was slightly underdone, but maybe not to cause an issue, just based on personal preference. I chose not to ask for it to be done more due to everything else being excellent and only a slight part being underdone.
Amazing food. Pineapple and chicken fried rice, curry lamb shank and the steak starter were the highlights. Big portions. Ended up ordering far too much but the price was great. Cocktails were a bit too strong for my taste but big selection. Will defo be going again.
