Lasso a group of your best fighting friends and head to the foot of the Ropewalks for a truly novel bar and restaurant courtesy of Chamber 36. If you’re willing to take the challenge, there’s nigh on 36 Oriental street food options available here, ranging from dim sum to grilled dishes, bao to desserts, with warrior-class drinks to boot. The signature si-fu mai is described as the ‘master of all dim sum’ and is packed with prawn and pork, the best bao in our books is the crispy shredded Peking duck with Hoisin sauce, while the sweetly seductive Flying Bao is a deadly dessert. All this bare knuckle Chinese tapas and cocktail action is packed into harmonious premises on the corner of Back Knight and Berry Street with a view of the Chinatown Arch.
