A favourite among the curry connoisseurs of Northwich, Cheshire Tandoori is an authentic Indian restaurant situated on Chester Road. No matter if you’re seeking out some spice, or looking to indulge in a creamy korma, the extensive menu features something to suit all tastes, whether you like it hot or not. For seafood lovers, the balti macher curry (boneless Bangladeshi fish cooked in a bhuna sauce with green herbs) is an ideal choice, while other favourites include the chicken chilli fry (stir-fried chicken cooked in soya sauce with onions, green chillies, green peppers and spices) and classics like the madras, rogan josh and dhansak. Pair your curry with rice and some bread straight out the tandoor. A popular choice among the area’s curry heads, Cheshire Tandoori in the town centre can fill up fast, so book ahead to avoid disappointment.
Booked a table for 10, first time we had tried this restaurant because the other one we normally go to was getting too expensive at around 30 per head including beers. Was pleased that this came out 10 pounds per head cheaper, but that does not mean the quality of the food and the service was in any way inferior. Great food, good service, right pace, will definitely use Cheshire tandoori again!
My Friend and I went to this restaurant for her birthday. its is spotlessly clean with attentive waiters with out being a nuisance and the food was delicious and very reasonably priced . If you want Indian food I would recommend this restaurant with out hesitation
We have been eating at Cheshire Tandoori for many years, the food was excellent as always, and the staff very polite and friendly. We have tried other Indian restaurants but this one beats them all, even curry mile in Manchester.
