A lovely pub with good food, great staff and decent parking

Excellent food,served quickly and nice and hot and well cooked.

Really enjoyed the food and the ambience. A group of young women were quite loud but that's not the restaurant's fault & they were only enjoying themselves. Will return

Amazing homecooked food, excellent vegan options that had care taken with them and my partner loved his belly bites and burger too. Really good value for money and lovely atmosphere. Both servers were also friendly and efficient. Won't go anywhere else for food in the local area, best restaurant by far!

Our second visit to this smashing pub. Our waiter was very friendly and made us feel very relaxed. He was knowledgable about drinks and food on offer and asked straight away if we had any allergies. I ordered the cheeseburger as the waiter said the Chetwynd burger was quite large and I wanted something smaller. My burger was too big for me to finish and I dread to think how big the other was. Hubby had the pie of the day which he demolished with glee. We were both too full for pudding but they sounded delicious. Although this pub was busy we felt staff had plenty of time for us and we weren’t rushed to leave. Looking forward to our next visit

Service was amazing all the staff were excellent. Apart from the lamb which I didn't enjoy , the rest of the food was very good, my husband thought the pie was very tasty. We will be back.

What a fantastic pub. Everything from the warm welcome from the lovely staff to the wonderful home cooked food. Most definitely will go again. Super!!!

Soup lovely. Main course. Pie and mash. Very poor. Very salty. 2 pieces of meat in pie. Filled with gloopy gravy, as though too many gravy granules. Couldn't taste any of the food because of the salt. Had to leave it.

We have visited the pub a few times and loved the atmosphere already for drinks. We went back today for lunch and were not disappointed. The service was brilliant and the food, a starter and main were absolutely gorgeous. We will definitely be going back.

Lovely location. Good service. Delicious food. Quality over quantity. Odd discussion with waitress about our dog - "Please tell us if you have a dog next time so we can put you in the right place." Perhaps consider adding this as an option on the booking form. I also found the ice cream and custard supplied with the sticky toffee pudding was really small, just consider increasing the amount a little please.

A very nice looking restaurant, attentive service (but it wasn't busy in the restaurant, it was at the bar). Food was excellent but prices a touch high, but value for money. Would definitely return.

Food was amazing never had a pie as nice as theirs, it was filled with meat. Puddings were generous in size. It's a total hidden gem and will be back. Prices are really good. Staff friendly too.
