Great food, great atmosphere, lovely open fire to warm away the winter blues.

We all just loved every minute of our visit .warm atmosphere, best Sunday lunch we've had in UK, yet! Amazing deserts .excellent service. Thank you Brandon and all the team . We will be back. All helpful and accommodating .10/10 ....In every area Thank you

The food was very good and priced reasonably could have done with more staff on but we did eat earlier than expected did notice there were more staff on later it was a very enjoyable evening

We were greeted by very attentive staff and shown immediately to our table. Our meal was first class and very tasty. It was an extremely pleasant experience

Lovely atmosphere beautiful quirky interior loved it. Rich tasty food 😋 lovely dessert I had black cherry meringue but unfortunately I don't think it was worth the price of £6.50 ! Will definitely be back for Sunday lunch 😋

Lovely welcome. Very relaxed atmosphere. Sunday Lunch was exceptional! First time we have eaten here and definitely will not be our last. Beautifully presented, great value for money and good quality food. All staff were very pleasant and friendly. Overall a lovely lovely experience!

Food and service excellent. Enjoyed our experience and it’s a perfect place to meet our friends. My only complaint was the draughty window. I actually thought there was air con on. It didn’t spoil the overall experience but I’d request another table next time.

A new venue for us and very impressed. Food quality and service from a lunchtime menu excellent. Requested a small variation on the menu for elderly mother and accommodated immediately with no fuss. We will be returning. Thank you

Portion size a little on the small side. Beef in the pie was not the best. Fish with the chips was beautiful and cooked very nicely.

one person ordered the peppered steak pie. It was an extremely small piece considering it was £15 and when we complained, the waitress just said it was a normal size portion! I had the fish pie but it was only just warm. I was told the fish was precooked but they could warm it it if I wanted. Not impressed and will not return or recommend

Fabulous food, great beer, lovely friendly waitresses - great value too!

I regularly bring my mom here for lunch on a Saturday and it is always excellent. The food is freshly cooked (and the pies are "proper" pies!) and they have their own smoker to do real barbecue. We will be back!

Baby rack of ribs for main were excellent and a good size. Will definitely will be going back. All the food and service were good.

Lovely roast and a great ale pie. Super cheese board and fab service.
