Experience French dining at its best in Southport at Chez Moi, a charming bistro on Lord Street. The perfect place for a romantic date or celebrating a special occasion with family or friends, Chez Moi’s setting is cosy and traditional, and the menu boasts all of the French classics, and of course, a perfectly curated list of French wines to go along with it. We recommend starting off with the traditional French onion soup, or if you’re feeling adventurous, the escargots bourgogne (Burgundy snails with garlic butter), before moving on to some roasted duck breast with gratin potatoes and a cherry sauce, or the crêpe d'homard (pancake filled with lobster, prawns & crab in a lobster and brandy sauce). Book a table now and bon appetit!
Brilliant food which is freshly cooked to order. We reserved a table and it was ready and waiting for us when we arrived. Very friendly staff.
Parking on Lord Street very good for access. Both starters and main meals were excellent for me and my partner. Service was good at all times.
Food was great. Came hot. Staff was excellent. I will definitely return. Great choice for food and drinks. Nice little friendly place. Clean and cosy.
Dined here last night and enjoyed a lovely meal. The food was delicious and the portion sizes were good. My partner's steak was cooked to perfection and great value for £10. Thoroughly enjoyed our night and would definitely revisit. Exceptional value , good menu choice and first class service.
Chez Moi is our restaurant of choice when we are visiting the Southport area. We always enjoy delicious, well-cooked food at a reasonable price and their Moules Mariniere is an absolute must for seafood lovers. The staff are friendly and welcoming too. Although they don't have a dedicated children's menu, smaller portions of most of the dishes on the main menu are available for young diners. My 5 year old granddaughter loved eating there and the staff were lovely with her.
I booked at the Chez Moi for a table of 4 for 7.15 on a Friday night, when we arrived they did appear to us that they did not know about the booking. Once seated we chose 4 different meals from the Al la Carte but 3 of the meals were not available and alternatives were offered from the Christmas menu. The meal that we did have were lovely, plentiful hot and fresh. The service was excellent and we did not wait long between courses. Thank you for a lovely evening and should we visit again lets hope the food on the menu is available.
We go to Southport twice a year and always make sure we book a table here. The food is excellent, good service and atmosphere and great value. highly recommended
Excellent range of dishes on the menu with each one well cooked and with generous portion size. As it is a small restaurant it is quite noisy when busy, which it usually is.
The food was really tasty and service excellent went for the £10 October set menus really good value for money - can't wait for our next visit
Lovely food, very reasonable, and very good service. Recommended. The set menu is good value, and the situation on Lord Street makes it easy to find.
