Yummy food and good service. Sat lunch but not busy at all. There are 10 of us and food arrived quickly. Highly recommend and will go again.

Friendly and efficient staff. Comprehensive menu (if a little well worn). Food will be cooked Chinese (as opposed to local) taste on request. Two of the three dishes ordered were good. The The Kung Poo chicken was disappointing. The prices are good value. We will return.

Bit of a wait, but understandable on Mothers day. Food quality was decent and filling. Service wasn't great, they looked understaffed. Great location by the Excel centre and river.

While the staff were friendly the food good but as the restaurant was not busy too many staff members standing around waiting to pounce on us as soon as we finished a course . Because of this it felt uncomfortable and rushed This was the first night , on the second night it was busier so was not so rushed although it took two attempts to get our drinks right. If we are in the area we would go back again.

About my 5th time visiting the restaurant. Always great service and the staff are very polite. On this one occasion, the food wasn't as hot as it should havd been; this may be because there was a few large parties. But other than that, a great experience.

I made a group booking for a Christmas lunch with my church youth group. We are allocated our own private which had a capacity of 20 people but it turned out that I had 22 attendees. The manager (Michael) was kind enough to make adjustments to accommodate the extra people. There was more than enough food to go around so everyone was happy including the 3 pescatarians of the group (prawn and veg dishes). The karaoke was a very nice touch too. only reason it didn't get a full mark was that I was served a small glass of box juice that I normally buy for £1.20 but was charged about £2.40 for a small glass. Thought that was quite steep. other than it's great.

Food was great but the service was awful. Some of the staff very rude and grumpy. Second time going there and both times had really bad customer service.

Attitude of the waitress serving us was appalling! Food was ok and came in a timely fashion. I'm not sure I would visit again, because of the service attitude. Spoilt the atmosphere for us!

Food not bad, average value for money, service patchy to say the least, quiet night so lacking a bit of atmosphere too. Been to better, probably had worse.

Very conveniently placed for Excel, the service is quick but fairly brash and the food is good. Price wise, a bit expensive but you'd expect that for the location.

We went to the Excel and decided to look on our mobile for somewhere to eat. This place came up and was close by, so I booked a table using my mobile. It was easy to book and got confirmation straight away. We had a great greeting from the staff and was well looked after. The food was delicious and service was great. We could not fault the service or food. We would definitely visit again, when we are in the area and would recommend people to dine here. Thank you all.

To me The advertisng was misleading as a set menu is a set menu! Not you have to buy 2 minimum. Anyway i wont be back. As a few i spoke to have been here And said it wasnt great. When i was there a gentleman ordered noodles... Looked well over boiled. Good point tho is that reception buy was polite And The Tiger beer was cold!

Food was ok mains better than starters ( one starter never turned up although was on the bill ) but service very poor - taking starter plates away when people were still eating, we weren't offered dessert, and really hard to get the bill at the end even though they clearly wanted us to go.

DO NOT BOTHER! Absolutely terrible service and the food was mediocre. Visited China Palace on Father's Day and we received bad experience. In the end we requested for the bill which came 20 mins later, we refused to pay the service charge and they have added few food on it that we didn't order. Seems that they were happy to take them out but no apology when we told them that the service was bad. The waitresses slammed the food on the table the whole time. Ridiculous!

I've been going to this place for years as the food is lovely but I went for my birthday with 6 other people at the weekend and it was an awful experience. We was there for 1 hour and 30 mins and all we had was our drinks. We had to ask the waitress to come over to our table to take orders for our starters. When they arrived only 4 were ready and 2 of us waited 25 mins for the next ones to show up! It wasn't overly busy in there either. There was people arriving after us who got their food straight away. We didn't bother ordering Mains and refused to pay service charge! Wont be going back!

Service was okay. Staff are friendly. Quiet environment during weekday dinner. Run out of my chicken dish, ordered another one, sold out again. It's slightly overpriced provided it's in E16 (the price is slightly above those restaurants in Leicester square) .

Food was ok but staff were terribly unaccomdating and abrupt! Personally don't recommend this place however the fact it was outside the show was helpful and provided the whiter place for a team meeting

Good quality authentic dim sum. Service in the slightly slow side. Also I had gone to pay for our meal not realising that my husband had already paid and they did not realise that the bill was already settled! Thankfully they refunded without any fuss. Otherwise a lovely good meal, and reasonably priced

The food isn't great and your forced to pay service charge of 12.5 . Special fried rice was horrible tasted bland and like butter , even and chill oil didn't help the food. Desert section is boring no sorbet . They don't do any cocktail . The staff are nice that's the only thing . Will not be coming here again

Amazing food, quick service to begin with but we had to wait ages to be offered the desert menu. Would recommend the honey and lemon duck; it's amazing! Would highly recommend.
