Food was ok. Slow service but that might be teething issues. Menu not very clear, could be clearer

Quite noisy! Main thing was the portion size of the bone marrow. It was quite expensive but was mostly garnish, not meat. The waiting time for a menu was quite long. After that the service was good. We also found the food to be quite oily. The prawn & pork tacos were nice. Thank you

Terrible service. They had over booked and then moved us during our meal without so much as an apology! Lack of communication between staff and mediocre food (poor quality). Left a bad taste in mouth will not be going there again.

Food tasted good but wasn't exceptionally tasty. Portions were smaller than normal. Drinks were overpriced Tables were too near and couldn't move the chair without asking the next group of people to move. Need to have more than one dish on Vegetarian mains menu. Overall.... Sorry but Not a good experience Hopefully they will take this review on board and make some changes.

Food was very good! However the service was abysmal. We didn’t receive cutlery until we had asked three times. Drinks too 40 minutes to arrive, even water. After an hour since we sat down, we said - we re hungry, can you at least bring us the guacamole (which was pre made in plastic tubs, not freshly made!) so just needed to be put in a bowl, and they finally brought it out. Food was slapped down on the table. Half the things on the menu were out of stock, including gin. No service with a smile! Just a real shame that we had hoped for a good night out but basically felt like a nuisance. Bartender was really good and the young waitress we eventually flagged down was lovely but overworked coz she was the only one doing anything! Overall a disappointing experience.

Generally food. Food portions could be a bit larger considering the price. Good atmosphere.

Over priced for the portions of food and for the area. Not much choice on the menu.

We were greeted by manager Sonia, who was very friendly and hospitable. We asked to move tables which she accommodated. My partner and friend's starters did now arrive when my starter arrived. Instead, their mains came first. We asked the server, Adrianna also very friendly, rectified the mistakes. Most of the food ordered was tasty, however, the churros were disappointing. They were too sweet and soggy as they were drenched in chocolate sauce. It would have been better if the sauce was served separately. We would visit again.

Well we had booked for 8.45 and I changed to 9pm as my friend was worried he was late. We got there at 8.45 and they said our table isn't ready and were invited to have a drink at the bar. There was 1 table free and ultiamtely this was where we were sat, so it was ready!!! I will say I was impressed to see how busy the restaurant was and had high hopes. We ordered a Corona and a Modelo but within 5 mins we were sat at our table, without our drinks. We waited and chased our drinks a couple of times. They were finally delivered at 9.20pm, over 30 mins after we arrived. In teh meantime other peoples drinks and food were delviered to our table but we politely advised these weren't ours. The food arrived at about 10pm which was over an hour afte rordereing and it was just 4 starters. We didn't bother with mains got the bill at around 10.20pm and left. Of course the bill was wrong so this was further cause for complaint. No attempt was made by management to apologise for their mess up and knowing them to be accomplished restauranteurs, I was shocked and disappointed with my experience. We may give it another go but the food was below par and considering the options elsewhere, we might as well take a trip further away to get our dose of Mexican cuisine. As a side note, we noted other diners complaining and others with incorrect bills etc. It seemed like they ramped the music up loud so that the complaints couldn't be heard by other diners.

Great taste of authentic Mexican food in Hatch End, great decor, pleasant staff with prompt service. Baja Fish tacos a bit too spicy, detracting from overall taste, but otherwise all food v nice!

The food was good but the service left a lot to be desired. It felt like there wasn’t enough staff on duty which is surprising as they have only been open a few weeks, I would have expected them to be over staffed if anything. Issues with a delivery meant no Coke or Still water available. The tables are packed in to get the maximum seating but this means you are almost sat on top of the next diners. There are a lot of things that need to improve and I’m hoping it is just teething problems but this restaurant has the same owners as Chuck (the previous incumbents) and the service there was always terrible. I will visit again and hopefully all the issues are resolved as the food is very nice, even though a little on the pricy side. Expect to pay on average of £40 per head.

Great restaurant, great food and great service. The menu copy is very skilled and on point, however not all the food reflected that. Some of the tacos came out at room temperature( instead of hot) and were not as tasty as some of the elements were missing. But after we requested for a salsa, which they brought one of, then on further request they got another one, and then we asked for all the salsa they had, which they very kindly brought. This was the game changer!! They were brilliant! It is the key to mexican food, and it completely changed our experience. So, I would request them to add a salsa platter on the menu, so we can buy all the salsas right of the back and enjoy the delicious food! We ordered the corn cake which was amazing! The margaritas were really nice as well! I will definitely return, but I really hope they try and sort the composition of the tacos to match the description and the temperature of the food, as that is key to enjoying mexican food, specially if they are charging city prices!
