Service a bit patchy but food was delicious. Shame it’s closed now.

Very average and not as good as I have had previously, food tasted dry and reheated not fresh at all. They literally collected plates while we were still eating and we felt rushed. Although it was pretty empty. Would not return.

As always a good lunch but such a shame that we were the only people there at 1.30! They must improve client turnover. We would hate to lose them but don't know how they will survive with this low level of custom.

They are not on the High Street and don't get "walk - by " traffic. It's such a shame that they always seem to be almost empty as the food and service are superb

Booked for my wife's birthday a was given a table in a walk way that was rubbish, the only one they would let us sit at was down the back on our own when there was others available. Service was then very poor, should have gone somewhere else will not be coming back

Chokha is a lovely restaurant and a great addition to Beckenham’s dining options. The website had led me to expect a high standard of food and presentation and I was not disappointed: the biriani was really spectacular - as good as I’ve experienced in a Michelin starred restaurant! We booked at 7pm requesting a quiet table: there was a rowdy children’s birthday party still going on when we arrived (it was the adults being rowdy rather than the children), which was very disturbing: I asked to be moved somewhere further away from them within 15 minutes of arrival and that was done without any fuss or problem and from that point we had a perfect environment. We had cocktails before and after the meal and those were great too. All told a great experience and thoroughly recommended.

This place is so much better than the "normal" local Indian. Service is excellent. They need more bookings as they cannot get much "walk by" custom due to their location. Please spread the word. We need this quality restaurant to survive in Beckenham!

Well presented and tasty food although a bit mean with the quantities esp the gulab jarman. It is quite noisy in the restaurant even though not full. It would benefit from Indian soft furnishings to absorb the noise and cover the dull grey walls.

Return visit to an excellent Indian restaurant. A little more pricey than a standard offering but the old adage that you get what you pay for rings true here.

Overall good but request was made for the food to be spicy which was not done. The pappadums where good. Dinner was with 5 people. Starters were enjoyed, the grilled lamb/paneer and chicken malai but disappointed with the food as tasted like a microwave Indian from m&s

Great atmosphere, truely delicious food. Happy, relaxed staff. Fish curry and duck were amazing, butter chicken was wonderful, they take allergies seriously and are very helpful. What a great place, We had a great night. Will def visit again.

They had me at Surmai Salmon. A stunning opening to a beautiful meal. Would totally recommend to place to anyone, and will definitely be taking family and friends.

Lovely modern restaurant with attentive staff. Food was authentic and very tasty. Paneer starter was lovely and soft, which my friend much preferred to her onion bhaji!
