Few things are more beloved in Britain than the country pub, and few places offer as many great examples of the genre as the West Country. Nestled at the foot of the Mendip Hills, the Churchill Inn is the perfect place to stop off on a journey through England’s South West, on a trip between Bristol and Weston-Super-Mare or simply if you’re lucky enough to live in this picturesque part of the world. Their menu is packed with British pub grub classics – gammon with egg or pineapple, sausage & mash, beef & ale pie to name just a few – and their bar is stocked with real ales, local ciders and a large wine list. Take a trip along Bristol Road for a proper pint, a top-notch feed and a welcoming atmosphere – just remember to book your table ahead of time.
Had a lovely meal will definitely be going back, staff very friendly, meals arrived nice and hot and all together. Could not resist the desert so much to choose from.
