Excellent service Perfectly cooked food timed to perfection Attentive , warm and friendly restaurant and staff Extremely clean and fresh looking Parking was easy too

Absolutely delicious curry, very well presented. Didn’t feel the reservation worked, we did arrive earlyish, said we had a reservation for 3, no name was mentioned and then shown our table!!. If the restaurant had been full, we wouldn’t have got a table at 20:00 hours.

Great food. Service was pretty good but felt like we were forgotten about at times. It was a busy night so we will be giving it another go.

Starter platter plain no flavour. Mains were great. All great except hot. Turned air conditioning off and we started to melt. So much so the my wife could not eat as she felt close to fainting. Not a great experience

Very tasty meal. Good mixed starter, lovely biryani, pickles with popadum were a bit different and very good too. Attentivecservice and reasonably priced,will considervagain when in the area.

Decor, Food, presentation and service was excellent. We took friends for their first visit...they were very impressed, we will all return as soon as possible.

The staff were friendly and welcoming. The food was beautiful and good value for money. Good portion sizes. Decor clean but bit dated ( toilet clean but needs redecorating. ) overall a lovely evening out, we were not rushed. Thankyou cinemas see you again soon.

Although our night out at Cinnamons was a monday there was a good atmosphere inside the resturant. We had a very good meal and the staff were very helpful in assisting you in your choice of meal, heat and flavour wise. My wife and I had a great evening.

Always a lovely atmosphere and great service. The food is fantastic, really fresh and tasty served beautifully. Thr menu is amazing with loads of specialities and clear descriptions, lots of vegetarian options and some of the best side dishes Ive had. Food isnt too oily like alot of places and they happily let you take any leftovers home. So many starters and accompaniments to choose from. They also brought out a Cake with a spectacular sparkler for my dads birthday and an extra bottle of wine and the beggining of the meal! We had a wonderful night because the service and food were excellent. Food isnt as spicy as you might expect but you can ask for it to have added spice.

Very good food but service could have been better. There was quite a delay in ordering drinks, receiving our drinks and clearing away unwanted dishes. This however did not spoil the evening as the food more than made up for this inconvenience.

The quality and presentation of the dishes is extremely good. What let's the restaurant down is the awful lack of basic professional displayed by the front of house. The waitress knew nothing about the dishes on offer. No effort was made to stand next to the person being served with a dish. Too many tables in a relatively small space.

Starters were full of flavour, the main courses were tasty and generous and the staff were attentive and helpful. A very pleasant evening in nice surroundings.

Nice decor. Terse service style. Large menu, so spent a while choosing. Then what arrives is meat in a gloopy sauce. Little character or clarity of flavour. Pilau rice a disgrace. Probably a micro-wave or boil in the bag, with grains coloured with food colouring and a token half a teaspoon of cardamomy flavoured onion on top. Be fair, meat itself was OK. Slow-cooked lamb was fine (but the cook should have removed the connective tissue, not me), duck was fine. Just over £40 for 2 - included one shared starter (utterly tasteless king-prawn in a korma-ish sauce), 2 popadoms, 2 fruit juices. Should have been better.

Best Indian food in the area, I always ask the waiter for a recommendation and they have never disappointed. I'm a competent curry chef so like to think I know what I'm talking about

my first time here the food VERY GOOD !!!! only problem I live over 400 miles away in Sheffield but I am going to return on next holiday in Axminster counting the months till next time I would highly recommend this place to anyone !!!!!!!!!!!! EXCELENT . RITA

We were made very welcome and shown to our table, even though we had arrived early. The menu was very varied, making choice a bit difficult, but the food was absolutely wonderful. Not only was it promptly served, the presentation was beautiful and the aromas and flavours were delightful. The staff were attentive (but not overpowering!) and the atmosphere was lovely. All-in-all, Cinnamons is highly recommended!

Food was served in normal ceramic bowls and not traditional Indian dishes, food went cold quite quickly. We were not asked if we wanted to take our leftovers home. Very disappointed considering how much much it cost. Will not return.

We had a lovely evening, the food and service was excellent. We had one vegan and one vegetarian in our group and that wasn't a problem. With at least eight vegan options we were spoil for choice. Couldn't fault it. Many thanks Cinnamons, we will be back!

Excellent food and service. Each dish was substantial size and very varied. The Indian wine we had we all enjoyed and it was very reasonable priced. The proprietor realised it was someone's birthday and at the end of the meal he came with the cake and candle , a large indoor sparkler! A lovely surprise. A super evening was had by all. We can certainly recommend the Indian restaurant in Axminster? We will be back.

Food was excellent and very good choice. Decor and ambiance also good, low noise level allowing easy conversation among diners. Only downside from otherwise attentive and polite staff was service rather slow.

Positives - A friendly welcome, very attentive waiters, very good choice on the menu, super food and a good atmosphere. Negatives - the waiters work very hard but as they both did anything and everything, we were often asked everything twice and the toilets could be improved.

Great food superb service - our favourite place when we visit Axminster. We are 14 and it was no trouble to seat and serve that number
