Clutch Chicken

I highly recommend Clutch! The food was amazing (if you love Chicken of course!) Everything we ordered was good but my favourite was the peppered fried chicken! SO GOOD!

I went with my mother, sister & cousin on a Wednesday evening around 7pm. We were all looking forward to this, as the venue looks like a cafe/ bar from the outside, we had no idea that it was a fried chicken restaurant. We got there and decided to order 2 portions of the wings in both soy & garlic as well as spicy. The soy & garlic was quite salty & heavy of the garlic, it didnt taste like it had any other seasoning so was quite dissapointing. The spicy wings were really good & I would definately recomment trying them. We also ordered 8 buttermilk chicken thighs, as wells skinny fries. The fries did the trick & were really moreish...the chicken again, personally was under-seasoned. I also found that one of my thighs was quite bloody and pink, so I sent it back, thinking they were going to supply us with a different batch of thighs. Instead the manager came with the reasoning that their chicken is precooked before it gets to site & that because its free range there are sometimes blood clots in the pieces, but I was to rest assure that the chicken was cooked. To be honest, I didnt believe it as we ordered the chicken breast pieces as a replacement - which wasn't very good. Also the music mainly hip hop & rap - was a bit explicit for a Wednesday evening with mum! not that I didnt like it, just that the its not what you would expect. I think the venue is good for the chicken wings & better suited for meeting up with friends for a few drinks over a couple of snacks - not a meal! (its slightly pricey too - but the concept is great)

I am a member of a club called Chicken Club and we must have been to over 15 different Chicken restaurants in London and this is by far our favourite. Which is why we keep on coming back

The wings were delicious! I got the honey and sesame flavour with chips. The setting was perfect, the staff were very helpful and polite. All in all, it was good vibes Can't wait to go back again

Friendly quick service with a nice atmosphere. Enjoyed the live music. If you're looking for a good chicken place, look no further. Nice selection of cocktails too.

Great food and music that's reasonably priced, friendly staff and quick service. The brunch was great for a birthday event. Will definitely be back with friends!

Badly cooked hugely overpriced KFC chicken made worse by the fact that their 30% off Mondays are only 30% off for their repeat customers (a highly unlikely phenomenon). This was not advertised anywhere on their website, walls or menus. Felt genuinely sorry for our waitress who was very embarrassed to admit this. An absolute no go for lovers of chicken. Also you have to pay £1 for the ketchup which incidentally is a poor watered down salsa. Awful!

Wonderful friendly environment, great chicken and cocktails. Perfect place for a long relaxed family orientated Sunday lunch. Church could expand their dessert selection. The house red and white wines are very palatable. Superb food for very reasonable prices

The chicken has the most amazing flavours and the portions are so generous. Service with a smile as always and a great chilled out atmosphere

The food was good - the honey sesame wings were drumlets (not wings). It tasted good, along with the curry leaf tenders (which were slightly dry). The creamy coldslaw was excellent. Music a tad too loud - especially on a Wed evening with 4-5 people eating in. It was at times difficult to hold a conversation. Overall experience was positive. Not a place for families though.

Food was great. Atmosphere a little off for a romantic dinner - dance music is played very loud and the other tables were mainly taken up by larger groups who were drinking a fair bit and consequently shouting at each other to add to the cacophony of sound! Next time I'll come with friends...

The food was 10/10 but service although friendly was extremely slow! We sat with dirty dishes for a long time and bill payment was still another half hour after I asked for it. No staff were in the room at certain times so not even anyone to ask!

Excellent food and excellent service. The staff were very attentive and the food and drinks came promptly. Over all a very good experience. Loved the buttermilk chicken.

This is by far, one of my favorite restaurants, the chicken is absolutely delicious! Cocktails are awesome and they always play the BEST music! 5 stars, love the staff as well!

Super amazing!! Went for my sisters birthday and the lovely Irish brought a cake with a candle!!! Really special and amazing food as always!!! Will be coming back for sure!! Xx

Great service, the waiter was really cheerful and atentive. The food was fine but not quite what we had hoped for, considering the raving reviews it has gotten everywhere. Nice place for a night out with friends for cocktails.

The food was yet again amazing! So much flavour, made quickly, the service was great as always, PLUS there was a touch of gangster music. Such a great place to dine. Highly recommended!

Lovely restaurant! Delicious food and lovely staff. The Korean fried cauliflower is the best thing ever, if you visit here you must buy! I'd happily go back today to eat.

Friendly staff, very good dipping sauces, good skinny fries. The chicken is okay but to be fair there are better options in town. Cocktails are really average too, with a very basic presentation. A shame really considering the price tag.

Terrible location, who's idea was it to build a bright yellow restaurant where the community centre should be. Not a good vibe at all, what are you doing for the estates behind the building?

Great service and amazing staff! Had so much fun and will definitely be coming back! Cocktails were very nice too, bit pricey but worth it!

The staff were really accommodating and checked on our group regularly. We had 20 people for a birthday bottomless brunch. We were not short of attention and it was not a problem with people wanting a la carte or just a coffee. The food was delicious, just what you want on a Saturday morning. Nothing was too great of an ask. I would 100% recommend clutch for big groups! 👌🏼

Great food, chicken was exemplary and so was the cocktails! Staff more than helpful and friendly. Extra gravy offered with no prompting and the tables outside great for people watching. Shall go many more times

The chicken was amazing. I was also presently surprised by how good the gravy was. The service was good and the fact I could pay using the Cake app was good. I really enjoyed the music as well.

Good but quite expensive for fried chicken and a drink. Portion sizes are very filling however. The cocktails and beer menu had a good variety.

Crazy good chicken, superb sides, bodacious brownie and a Nicki Minaj. Took 4 friends here for dinner on a Thursday evening, food came quickly, friendly service, cool place.

The manager and bar tender here are brilliant, so friendly and super attentive on every visit. Only hiccup was, our main server was a little busy texting to bring us our ketchup, we got half way through our portion of trice fried fries a little dry, however I've been here countless times so have put it down to a very important text! Looking forward to the next one

We unfortunatley didnt have the pleasure of dining here although the food looked delicious. There is a bench style seating system which means you will have a VERY intimate dining experience with not only your dinner guest but those seat directly next to you. We had to pass once we were shown our table as we had pictured a more romantic one of one dinner thag evening. A heads up to the seating arrangement would have been a great help as the booking allowed us to select a table for two.

A beautiful evening to sit outside and enjoy the tasty menu. I was sorry that not all the menu was available - biscuits weren't ready and the website is unclear about the Monday offer. Lovely service, delicious chicken, great veggie options and refreshing cocktails

This is the second time we have visited Clutch and this time took our friends for a birthday meal, they were thoroughly impressed. The service was amazing, food was fantastic and we enjoyed the fun atmosphere.

. . . simply: CLUTCHlicious!!!!!!! No matter if you want to have a cozy dinner or celebrating a birthday the clutch team & food are outstanding. BRUNCH on sundays should be on every foodies TO-Do list. Hot tip: try the KFC (korean fried cauliflower).

Always I favourite I brought my friends who were visiting from NZ and it was an absolute hit! Soy ginger tenderloins were the fav chicken flavour but we couldn't stop eating the cauliflower special! Amazing! The lime leaf salad brought it all together adding a bit of freshness. Highly recommend a visit to Clutch!

Great friendly service. Food choices were quite limited for brunch so don't take any picky or health conscious people. However what we did have was good, still buzzing from the sugar high

The food here is delicious! definitely the best chicken I've had in forever! Huge bits of chicken and the marinade was so good, we got the soy one. And the cauliflower! Wow, you must try that!! The brownie for dessert was also pretty special. Will definitely be paying a visit here again soon.

False advertising. Clutch website claims to offer 30% off everything on Mondays. Once in the restaurant, the same message is displayed on one of the black boards. However, we were charged full price as the waiter stated that 30% only applied to "Clutch Family". My first and last visit there.
