My favourite restaurant in the area for food quality and service. I’ve been coming here for months now with colleagues and friends and always made a ‘Bella figura’ as the savvy Italian who knows where to eat best :) Keep up the great work e grazie mille!!

We booked a table (for 8) for a joint birthday celebration. From start and right through till the end, Conchiglia didn’t disappoint. Excellent food and outstanding service throughout, with great atmosphere - a little gem of a restaurant. I highly recommend this place! And I will definitely be back there myself.

We did not stay for dinner, and we are so glad we didn't. It took 15 minutes to get the waiter's attention, another 20 minutes to receive water, another 10 minutes to order our food and then another hour before receiving a single caesar salad - 2 were ordered. Neither was prepared correctly - both had dressing on the salad when both were meant to be on the side. There were croutons on neither and one weirdly had tomatoes and the other didn't. Not only that, the dressing was clearly not a caesar dressing. When we complained that it had been an hour and a half and there was no sign of pastas AND our salads were wrong, it appeared as though the situation was not going to be resolved anytime soon. We wound up leaving without eating food, as the situation was completely ridiculous. I will never go back to this restaurant again, as there is much better service and food quality for Italian in the surrounding area.

A restaurant a stopped using as I felt the food had gone down hill but a couple of weeks ago, returned but was once again disappointed . This week I decided to give it just one more chance and had the worst meal yet! I ordered Fritto Misto expecting some lightly fried fish in breadcrumbs or batter but instead was presented with a plate of slimy under cooked white fish with two overcooked prawns. When I told the owner I was unhappy he just shrugged and walked away, I certainly won't be returning.

The food wasn't that great, no one I went with really liked or finished their meal. They had a bar full of alcoholic drinks but no cocktail menu or a bartender who could make cocktails. Very very small inside the restaurant. The ladies toilets are so impractical, only slim ladies could fit in the cubicles, the door is so close the toilet seat it is ridiculous. Granted the workers were nice and it was a calming atmosphere but everything else let it down.

Really nice and friendly staff who take care of each client. The wine and the pizzas are amazing and made with fresh ingredients. Strongly recommended!

Great food and nice staff, will definitely go back. But will ask for a table away from the door. It was winter and we were very cold every time the door opened and closed. Also the toilets could do with being a bit more pleasing to visit.

This place was fantastic. The waiters were friendly, the service was attentive without being in any way over-bearing, the ambiance was pleasant and the food was sensational.

Nice ambience, good food (though the 14-inch pizze are a challenge!), attentive and pleasant staff and management. Four of us had different meals and all were enjoyed. Altogether a good experience.

Best bolognese I've had in yrs. Host was entertaining, would definately go back. The place is clean and feels homely, I express my gratitude to the chef that made my meal that day!

The place is very nice and we enjoyed the food, the prices are also lower than the average of London. The service is a little bit slow, but it’s ok.

This was a friendly, welcoming restaurant with reasonable prices and a fairly varied menu. The food is delicious with large portions! It's necessary to book if eating later as it does get crowded. The decor is a bit dilapidated and the downstairs area smells damp but we had a good experience and shall certainly visit again.

Last time we enjoyed our meal here but this time the tagliatelle were sticky and stodgy, with a rather glutinous sauce. Service very friendly but slow.

A very friendly restaurant. We had the two-course lunch menu, which was good value and included an unusually tempting choice of desserts. It was packed with happy lunchers.

Great food, lovely setting. Menu has a good selection of traditional Italian food. Service was quick and attentive. Beautifully set out tables and decor. Couldn't have asked for more.

We had a really nice meal here last night for my daughters 18th birthday. My husband and daughter had pizzas which they claim to be one of the best they've ever had and the asparagus & ricotta ravioli I had was absolutely delicious. The restaurant had a great atmosphere and always a good sign when there are lots of Italians in an Italian restaurant!! Will definately be back

Lovely little place, great staff and service, and the main thing the food Can’t fault it absolutely lovely. One criticism No breadsticks on the table. But that’s just a personal thing I guess.

Great service, great atmosphere, great food! We would certainly recommend this restaurant and hope to return one day! It is a great neighbourhood gem and great quality for the money!

We ordered gnocchi, sold out, then ordered a chicken dish, sold out, ended up having pizza and this was only 8.30 pm on a Saturday evening. Pasta was good, fish dishes were ok, these were served with a few pieces of carrot, two small florets of broccoli and very dried up roast pieces of potato. Desserts were nice. Overall not very impressed. May return for a pasta dish sometimes

Great service and the pizza is wonderful - really thin, crispy crust. Prices are very reasonable and the outdoor seating was quite comfortable. Happy we went here.

A fabulous authentic Italian restaurant! I just wish I lived nearby and it could be my regular. The service is brilliant, and the food is wonderful!

Love it at Conchiglia. Pizza is amazing. Service is always great. Possibly not the trendiest restaurant in the area but our trips to London wouldnt be the same without eating here.

It's not our first time but the food and service are always great. Will always go back if we want authentic Italian food!

Very large, thin crust pizzas with a reasonable amount of toppings. Restaurant is old-school Italian and although it's looking a little tired around the edges, especially the toilets, the friendly welcome and service make up for it.

Warm welcome, good food, comfortable surroundings, moderate prices. My guest and I both ate from the daily menu which is great for a lunchtime meal.
