I've never had a problem with this restaurant. Connie is always welcoming and friendly. The food is always delicious and portions are great....prepared to go in hungry.
If you're prepared to take your time eating the best Chinese food in Swindon with original & quirky waiter & waitress service and you're not one of those who doesn't give a damn about food and simply wants to "be seen" in a "trendy" establishment that metamorphoses into a "nightclub", then Connies is the place for you.
I attended Connies with my wife yesterday evening. We both had a hugely enjoyable time and were made to feel extremely welcome by Chloe, Zayn and, of course, Connie herself. I also had the pleasure of meeting Connie's chef husband in the kitchen which was absolutely spotless. At £15 a head for an "all you can eat" meal of extremely high quality, I would highly recommend Connies to anyone with a discerning palette who wishes great value for money without breaking the bank.
I've been here twice now, lovely restaurant and amazing food - Connie herself is great and keeps the place running tip top. Would recommend anybody to try here.
It was 11 years between visits, as we have been living in Asia all that time. The food was very good, just like being back in Asia and that is hard to say about some places. Its a buffet style menu where you can pick what you want to eat, but better as its all freshly cooked just for you and not just left on heating plates, if you go then go hungry as the portions are good - and if you don't eat it all then get it to take away.
