Wonderful venue with outstanding selection of top class tasteful dishes. Certainly one of my favourite restaurants! Will return as couldn’t decide which main course to have. I will just have to work my way through the menu!

Exquisite food, welcoming staff, great entertainment, positive place! The service being the only downside, was extremely slow, but otherwise the restaurant proved to be a positive atmospheric place. Would not hesitate to visit again.

Fantastic food served in a relaxed atmosphere. Made our dishes with exactly the right amount of spice as we requested. I would recommend eating here to my friends and family.

Couldn't fault the food at Coppers - it was delicious and lovely to have some extra chefs tasters as well. Service was very good although some staff didn't have a lot of knowledge about ingredients in the dishes! The atmosphere was ok but could have been improved with more screening between tables. The ceiling is very high which makes acoustics strange and lighting was not great. However, we really enjoyed the meal.

We had a starter and main course, which were fine in themselves. We ordered popadoms to start with, but they were served late, after our main course had arrived. They appeared far from freshly prepared and were unappetising. I ordered a bottle of Cobra beer, displayed almost top of the drinks menu, but was told "we don't have any bottles, only draft". Our repeat drinks order was forgotten and had to be re-ordered after 15 minutes of waiting. The service, or lack of it, let down the overall experience. There were only two waiting staff to cater to the whole restaurant. Yes, the food is a little out of the ordinary and would, if accompanied by a good level of service, be worth the money charged. As it is, it was an overpriced and unsatisfactory experience. Next time, I'll go to a bog standard curry house where I know they'll be more attentive and I'll pay half the price.

We had a great meal at Coppers in Hythe. The curries were freshly cooked and very tasty. The nan breads were wonderful and the service was friendly. We would highly recommend a visit to anyone seeking something different from your run of the mill curry house.

I've tried all the Indian restaurants locally and this and the Holy Pundit (its sister restaurant) are by far the best. Try the garlic South Indian curry. It's a cut above your usual curry house but the prices are very reasonable and it's consistently great.
