This is so much more than a restaurant - from the moment I stepped inside I was treated as a new friend. Wonderful atmosphere, beautiful surroundings, amazing food, and the warmest welcome I have ever had in a restaurant. Sadly I live quite a distance away but I'll definitely be going back.

Refreshing new dining experience at this Abyssinian vegetarian restaurant. This small family run restaurant is more like eating in proprietors home than in a standard restaurant. Delicious food for vegetarians and the gluten sensitive. No alcohol licence but interesting new drinks (e.g. from flax) and tremendous Abyssinian coffee. Great new tastes in a new environment and learnt a little about Abyssinia. Highly recommended.

The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. The food was superb and we had our table for over three hours. I would definitely go there again.

Had a meal here last Saturday with friends. Thought it was a lovely friendly restaurant with great food the combination plate makes choosing very easy!

called 24 hours prior and asked if we could join our table with others, valentines night table booked weeks prior and do i want to join tables?? very very disappointed that we were an inconvenience and more money for more customers was the main driver, what happened to good old first come first served customer service, we cancelled our reservation and will not bother again. overall shocking customer service !!!

We really enjoyed our meal at Corarima. The food was beautifully presented and we enjoyed the taste and experience of a different food. We well looked after and served. Would definitly recommend.

Wonderful food and service, warm and welcoming atmosphere - certainly recommend! Plus offer £3 lunch which is great for a quick grab and go or platter for 2 with samples of most dishes.

Really lovely atmosphere for a chilled, replaced evening, would work for a couple and groups. It’s definitely worth trying, interesting and unique flavours. It’s not what I’d eat everyday but yummy!

My favourite restaurant in Wakefield by a significant margin. The atmosphere is so relaxing and hospitable and the food sublime. Tonight no exception with Asamnew catering to my needs having fractured my wrist - all the food was easily manageable single-handed! Thank you.

What an amazing place. The food, the service and the atmosphere is delivered with passion that this husband and wife team have for their country and the food it has to offer. From entering to leaving to whole experience was fantastic. I am do eat meat but throughout the whole meal I was not missing meat one bit. I do hope that this place stays around for a long time and stays small and unique. Can't wait to go back.

The husband and wife team are so welcoming and passionate about what they are doing here, this is demonstrated in the excellent service and perfection of the delicious food, which was tasty, colourful and nutritious a very welcome change from the usual fried foods served in most restaurants. the decor is quirky and as colourful as the scrumptious food. Expect an incredibly warm welcome at Coramima. Delicious, wholesome and filling food that is fresh and piquant, with excellent service and insight into the ingredients and cultural relationship with food from this region. Highly recommended. We will definitely visit again when we are in the area.

This was one of the best food adventures I have had. Me and my wife are gluten free vegans so eating out is difficult. This place was fantastic. We could eat 95% of the menu (more rare than rocking horse poo for us). The guy running the place was just great. He was an absolute gentleman. We had a taster menu with about 10 different things on it. Never had food from this part of the world and it was beautiful. Go and eat here!

This was our second visit, this time for my husbands birthday and again Corarima didn’t fail to disappoint. We chose the sharing platter and were delighted with the delicious range of stews and injera, such delicate yet amazing flavours. Coupled with the warm and attentive service of the host cannot fault this absolute gem of a restaurant!

A relaxed place to eat and an opportunity to experience traditional Abyssinian cookery. The owner is attentive and keen to let you try food on the house. I will definitely return & have recommended it to others

I had so many great reviews about here, so I decided to go. The on line booking is efficient and simple, and when I visited to make a slight alteration I was greeted with a smile and no request was too much......then I enjoyed the aroma of those wonderful herbs and spices and couldn't wait to enjoy my booking. I was not disappointed, the service was friendly, informative and timely. We were greeted with a smile and friendly discussion of the menu. We were allowed space and time to have a lovely conversation and admire the ambiance, and then .......the food arrived. Wow...the flavours, textures, aroma and visual appearance were all a delight. We will be going back again 😀

What a great little restaurant! I enjoyed it so much the first time, when I was there, I rebooked for a fortnight later. I am not a vegan or vegetarian but that didn't matter one bit. The food is delicious and very exciting. The waiter, and owner, is extremely helpful. I will certainly go there again and recommend this little gem of a restaurant to anyone.

Fabulous hidden gem of a restaurant in Wakefield, the food was the best I had eaten for quite a while. The owner was welcoming and truly passionate about his food as so he should be. If you’ve never tried Ethiopian food before- give it a go and you won’t be disappointed.

Great place, attention to details fantastic from service, food and decor of the place. It felt like you were eating in a family home not a restaurant. And the food tasted delicious. Highly recommend

Wonderful food, wonderful host, wonderful evening. Thoroughly enjoyed tonight and our host couldn't have been more attentive. He clearly has a passion for what he does. You don't have to be vegan to enjoy it, it's just about great tasting food.

We were really impressed with this newly opened restaurant, the welcome was warm and the food was delicious. It is the first time that we have tried East African food and the owner kindly explained all the dishes, as a vegetarian it is really nice to be able to choose from the entire menu!
