Côte Leeds

Warm friendly welcome. Excellent service. Good quality food and wine at Leeds Cote. Much better experience than the unwelcoming and unhelpful member of staff at your Harrogate branch - on 30 October - 12 noon. We left and went elsewhere to eat instead.

This was my first visit. Good menu choice on the set menu and food was good when it arrived as was the service. Will definitely visit again

Enjoyable experience. Staff friendly and attentive. Restaurant well sited. Food up to the normal Cote excellent standard. Ambience pleasant. Free bottle of wine was welcomed.

Cote is our favour place for a light lunch or an early evening dinner or pre-theatre. A great-priced set menu with friendly staff and good atmosphere. Downside is, as elsewhere, a big markup on drinks and adding 12.5% service charge - who is brave to ask for it to be removed and then go back next week?

Good food, small portions on the set menu. No accomplishments with the dishes ie bread with muscles and vegetables with steak and service charge extra. Wine good value.

Really enjoyed our lunch and we were impressed with the quality and presentation for the price. We are a group of retired work colleagues who meet up every so often for lunch, and have already decided to meet at Cote again next time.

Service was very quick friendly and professional. We both really enjoyed our meals and we thought it was very good value for money and we would love to make a return visit.

Food was great, staff were very friendly and service was excellent, considering restaurant has only been open for 3 months. The set menu we ordered from was good value for momey, with plenty of choice and different from the norm.

So pleased to see cote in Leeds as regular visitors to York. Looking forward to visiting again. Good service food decor atmosphere and as always excellent value for money!!

We had a very good Maitre'd who made us feel at home and gave us just the right amount of time to select from the large selection of dishes. The food was perfectly cooked and tasted gorgeous. Atmosphere of the restaurant was great with very low background music, making it easy to hold a conversation, without having to raise your voice. Very pleased with the Core product and will be back for more.

this was our second visit and again food was very tasty .....staff very friendly and efficient and restaurant has a good atmosphere we chose from the set menu 3 courses for 13.50 which was excellent value with plenty of choice would definitely recommend

Would have given a six but our side orders were forgotten about and we had to wait. Great place for gluten free options. really friendly and helpful staff. We'll definitely be back.

Not the best, but not the worst. Personally not the best location as in a shopping centre. Will try again but not in Leeds because of location

Very pleasant staff and complementary Kir Royale was a lovely bonus. We were in a hurry and were served promptly. Overall very nice indeed - would return

We had a vegetarian in our party of three when we had lunch here today. She was very satisfied with the options open to her. Our food was good and the mussels frites were delicious. A little bread to mop up the lovely juices would have been appreciated. The staff were very friendly and efficient and apart from a delay in serving my macchiato I have no complaints. A warm and relaxed place to dine.

Cote in Leeds has great food and the staff are prompt without being pushy. This restaurant is to be recommended. We will be going again as soon as we can.

This is the first time I dine at this restaurant, the food was lovely, good portion size. The booth we sat was comfortable. Even though we dine early bird menu, there was no pressure to have table back, very friendly staff and value for money. Will go again.

Good food, not sure what else to say. Quiet Sunday late afternoon meal.

The food is brilliant, I have roast duck breast, it is delicious and also the desert, I got the apple tart, it is yummy! Will be there next time!

We booked a table for four on Saturday afternoon, and were very pleased with the service provided by the staff at all times. We all ate of the 3 course special menu which was cheaper than the a la carte menu, but the portions were more than ample and the food was excellent. We will definitely go back to Côte in Leeds Trinity.

We enjoyed a great lunch - usual Cote Brasserie high quality. Attentive service and a quiet restaurant on a Tuesday lunchtime. Nothing really to fault.

I was very disappointed with my second visit to Cote. The service was appalling, we had to ask for every single thing i.e. a drink after we had been seated for 30 mins. ask for our order to be taken & so it continued. So different from my first visit when the staff had been so attentive. I was also disappointed in my main course of Plaice, as was one of my friends, when we mentioned this to the waitress she smiled & said "oh that's my favourite dish". Sad to say we won't be rushing back.

Excellent food - we fad steak and risotto which were both perfectly cooked- good service and reasonably priced. Nice to have a restaurant like Cote in Leeds city centre. Will definitely be back.

This is a new restaurant and clearly no one knows it's open yet. We booked ahead but of the more than forty tables available only three were occupied. So the restaurant lacked atmosphere. My favourite Beef Bourguignon has been taken off the menu which was a disappointment, so I had a steak, not the best steak I've had, but nice. As the staff had little to do, they were over attentive and kept interrupting when we were trying to have a conversation. I hope it gets busier. I was looking forward to the opening of the new Newcastle Cote, I hope when it opens it will be busier than Leeds.

Nice restaurant, food & staff. We ate early before going to the theatre & after showing our tickets we each got a free Kir Royal. Really enjoyed our food and the early bird menu was very good value too. Would recommend to anyone

Beautiful food, well cooked and presented. Friendly staff. The restaurant was very clean and there was a varied menu. We would definitely go back again.

Food lives up to the chain standards, service was a little under, no cutlery and a slightly over the top on checking how everything is, I suspect because it's new. Optional service charge automatically added to the bill, always puts me off.

Absolutely fabulous food - I didn't want it to end! Waiting staff were very friendly and attentive. Restaurant is very clean and well laid out.

Really enjoyed the food. Good value for money with fixed price menu. Great service in pleasant surroundings. Probably best chocolate mousse I have eaten in a ong time! A great addition to Leeds after visiting several Côtes in London.

Slightly difficult to find, if you do not know the area, apart from that excellent staff and nice choice of well cooked and presented dishes. First visit to this branch as we're visiting from Kent would definately go back.

Lovely restaurant light and airy you don't feel crammed in like some places , great food, service and good value, we had breakfast. Will be returning for dinner in the near future. Well worth a visit.

Good food, attentive, obliging and friendly staff. I have eaten at many Cote Brasseries across the country and the new one in Leeds is just as good as the others. The Cote Brasserie chain of restaurants seem very consistent in everything they do which ever one you eat in, would highly recommend.

Attentive and very helpful staff and excellent food which catered for the allergies we have in the group. Price was great value for money. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent meal with service to match - not sure about the pier ford 'on the house water' ! Ordinary tap water at home tastes better! Buy it was a very pleasurable experience and I will certainly go again and recommend to others

A bit quiet for a Friday, but to be expected given that it's only just opened. Warm greeting from the waiting staff. Allowed us the option of the early menu - even though we probably shouldn't have (we're unaware of it until it was mentioned). Lovely food and wine. Nice decor and overall atmosphere. The restaurant is beautiful, the staff were very friendly and professional, but not too in your face! Spot on interior which creates a great atmosphere. The food and drink were both impeccable, it's safe to say we will be returning!

Very smart new restaurant with very pleasant and efficient staff. Food very good and well presented. We will be back! The location in a shopping mall did not impinge on the experience.

We visited on a quiet Friday afternoon shortly after it had opened. Our waitress was on her 2nd day and promises to be very successful if her service to us was anything to go by (Mia). All staff we encountered were super. The place is bright and airy and the food was delicious. We really enjoyed it and will be back!

Fantastic food. Had the early bird menu and could not fault it. Lovely polite staff too and great atmosphere. Great French lager on draft. All for a great price
