Food was as delicious as always but service not up to usual standard. Table not laid correctly for 4 people (I had booked) and we had some trouble getting help/service when we needed it.
slightly hassled at the beginning. Felt as if the table was wanted for later diners. Also rather noisy. Service improved when we decided not to go for the early evening menu
Buzzy French restaurant. Good food and attentive service, reasonable prices and good atmosphere if a little loud when full. Good Fish pie and chicken and chips. Puddings tempting too. Good central location in Wimbledon Village.
Good food and attentive service. Wine was served properly chilled, which is not always the case in restaurants. I'd requested a quiet table which was not available when I arrived
Food was generally of good standard, although one of ours steaks was a little tough. Reason for poor rating is poor quality of service - long waits to take order and long waits between dishes.
Very pushy staff. Always trying to upswell. Very overcrowded and tables very close together. Manager had no record of our 'autumn treat' (bottle of wine) and was extremely aggressive suggesting we hadn't booked correctly. We will not be going back to the Wimbledon branch.
As ever, the service was very good and the food was lovely. We all had different dishes and all were great. As usual Cote does not disappoint. I love the Wimbledon branch.
Dined at lunchtime - we ate the chicken salad and the salad Nicoise both delicious the service was excellent without being obtrusive. great value for money, highly recommended.
Great service, choice and value for money as always! Friendly staff. The deserts are great. Very good choice for families and adults. Will go back soon!
Delicious and tasty lunch with fresh products. The server was very cordial, helpful and ready to see please us! I would definitely recommend this restaurant. For us it was second time and we were enchanted.
Always consistently good foodand service, will be returning soon. I live in Wimbledon village so it's great to have cote bistro on the door step.
As always, we had a lovely visit to Cote, with delicious food and great service in a very pleasant atmosphere. We find that you can never go wrong with Cote.
As usual the staff and food at Cote were as expected..very good...the lunch menu is great value for money and some lovely dishes to choose from...
Very attentive and helpful staff, they remembered it was my friend's birthday and gave her a glass of prosecco to celebrate! We had a lovely evening.
Excellent service and excellent food. I'd recommend the steak and the crepes. The waiting staff and very attentive and are happy to offer detailed recommendations.
Excellent service with friendly and humorous touch. We are regulars so more of the same please. Cote has that nice French style restaurant feel. easy and comfortable.
Food was fine, service was fine. Carrots lovely. Had main courses only. Duck excellent. Chicken looked a bit dry. Only downside was strange lighting outages. Busy for a Wednesday night.
Great food and staff. Highly recommended one of our favorite restaurants every time we visit the U K. Eaten at Cote's in Exeter, Fulham, and Wimbledon.
Lovely evening enjoying beautiful food with lots of choice. Service fantastic as staff are very attentive. Went on a busy Friday eve and atmosphere was buzzing. Can't wait to revisit.
Lovely food. Very busy. Waiter very friendly and service attentive. Always good experience at Cote. Only slight negative table by th door so lots of coming and going.
Cote Wimbledon always offers a friendly welcome, good value, and a tasty and varied menu, whether for breakfast, lunch or dinner. I've been going there for years and would recommend the restaurant without hesitation
Great food and excellent service. Good range of French cuisine classics: starters, main courses and desserts. Regrettably no vegan options and few vegetarian choices, otherwise would rate 6+.
We received a warm welcome and good service. The menu is varied and the food was well cooked and appetising. Good value too, as is always the case at Cote
Was really disappointed with our visit to come Wimbledon. I have been to Kingston and loved it. The experience is completely different. We had to pour our own wine all night and when the bottle was finally finished we asked to order another drink to be told we do not serve alcohol after 11pm. If the waiter had been pouring our wine like they are supposed to they would have seen we was without drinks for a good 45 minutes. The service was not very goo I wouldn't return to this branch again
As always food very good. Service good but once we had eaten our main felt we were forgotten and had to wait for desert menu for ages but excellent value for the money
Consistently good offering Great staff Good variety and good value for money Jerusalem Artichokes special not great. Choice remains excellent. Cote delivers a great casual dining experience
Had a lovely birthday lunch in Cote on Monday 3nd October. It was really buzzing for a Monday, lovely atmosphere. Had the set lunch menu which I think has to be one of the best so far. Easy to choose 3 courses & for only £11.50, such good value. Service was fantastic & food delicious. Wimbledon has to be the best Cote!!! They really have it mastered.
Fantastic food and service. Great atmosphere and quality for money. We had the duck and the chocolate fondant which were both amazing. Cote never disappoints.
First visit. Excellent. Service very good and so attentive. Gluten free choice was excellent and waiters and waitresses knew what and what not to serve for a coeliac. Definitely will return. Very good atmosphere and busy for a Sunday evening. Would recommend a visit and we will certainly be returning.
The restaurant had a pleasant bustling ambience and our waitress was very polite and attentive. My friend and I both had the Breton chicken which we both enjoyed - good flavour and tender meat - with thin French fries and mayonnaise.
Excellent value, lovely food and good service. We had the set menu which had a great choice of food catering for meat, fish, veggie lovers
Fabulous as always.service quick, food great, had the set menu, calamari lovely, chicken with roasted veg and mustard sauce great. Made a mistake with my sons order but quickly rectified.
Lovely evening with friendly staff, the food was delicious, and the recommended wine as excellent... The menu offered was very good value for money. I shall come back soon.
Food and service was excellent; really good value, nice staff and lovely menu. Very noisy due to tables nearby and would like to choose own tip rather than expected gratuity.
Wonderful service even though very busy ! Loved the anniversary menu plus bubbly A delightful experience
Lovely restaurant, great service and great food. Excellent location more expensive than Pizza Express but worth it. I still don't like 12.5% service charge by any restaurant but you can ask ti remove it. Still love the place.
Usually cant fault it here. This time it was a little off. Maybe it was because we were a large table of 10. Service a little lacking and some members of the party complained about quality of the steak. But it was dealt with in a professional manner so all fine at the end of the evening.
Superb waiter. Just the right balance of friendly yet attentive service. Food good and gluten free menu a great hit with one of our guests.
Staff really friendly and food there was gorgeous as always. One of my favourite places to eat and never disappoints. Thank you to all the staff for such a lovely experience.
As usual the food was good but on this occasion the service was almost poor. We had to ask to be served and the waiter was surly and irritated
The food is good, the menu is varied, the price (particularly the set menu) is more than fair and the ambiance is spot-on as a buzzing bistro (although the acoustics might be a little difficult for the aurally-challenged). I gave it a 5 rather than 6 because the service was rather slow but that can be easily improved.
We had a great time. Staff were very courteous, and the food was nice too. The ambience in the restaurant was welcoming. I'd go back.
Two of our group of five chose to have the steak, one of which was sent back and came back just as bad, the other one also old and tough (not hung long enough). All other meals very nice. Service was good.
We enjoyed the 10th anniversary menu which was great value. Three courses and a glass of champagne for £27 and portion sizes to satisfy the hungriest of diners.
Absolutely brilliant food and service , as usual, but VERY noisy as is often the case. Presumably this is because of the low ceiling and glass décor but some form of sound proofing would be really appreciated.
Varied menu and good food. Service was very good and we weren't rushed. Restaurant was busy but some other customers were very noisy. Overall a very pleasant lunch venue.
Great food and great service in a fun and buzzy environment. Thanks for a fab evening ! We'll be sure to visit again very soon.
This Cote is almost always fully booked. Staff pretty efficient and greet regular diners effusively. Only problem is that it's noisy so don't go if you want an intimate evening! Food pretty good by Cote standards. Will go again as local to us.
The mains of my husband a ribeye steak was terrible and even when this one was replaced with another one it was no success! Altogether the service was a little slow.
A wonderful dining experience provided by a very professional team of waiters and waitresses. No request for assistance is questioned and attended to without delay. Highly recommended to all as a restaurant of choice.
