Côte Blackheath

I’ve been going to Cote Blackheath For many years and organizing group gatherings there, plus several Christmas Eve dinners, and can’t fault it. Tonight was no different, thank you!

We had an excellent lunch today. Both starters and main courses were really good. Efficient service and most helpful. My husband said his sea bream was delicious.

The restaurant was not COVID safe at all. Tables were on top of one another. Tables were spaced as before COVID. No details were taken for track and trace which we thought were mandatory. You were not encouraged to hand sanitise. We were regulars but until you take steps to make your restaurant safer we will not be going back.

Had a lovely afternoon at Cote. Meal was tasty however, steak wasn’t the best. Rib eye, had far too much gristle. Waiting team were exceptional. Waiter apologised & corrected the best she could.

Missed Côte Blackheath badly during Lockdown. So glad you’re open again. I think I must have sat at almost every table for some kind of family, friend, social occasion. Table for 2 today for lunch. Delicious food, as ever, attentive waiter Jacob. However serious issue. Côte has NOT socially distanced the tables. They are exactly the same as Pre Lockdown. They are far too close. I checked out the restaurant in advance and chose a table for 2 against a wall as far away as possible from a neighbouring table. I MUST deduct one star for that and Côte should address this issue.

A wonderful evening at Cote Blackheath. Always a warm welcome and excellent service from Giovanna, who goes the extra mile to ensure customers enjoy their experience in the best of all the Cote restaurants I've tried!

Steak tartare has been removed from the menu which is very disappointing...main reason I visited regularly. Ordered Tuna Nicoise instead; tuna was not medium rare (as the menu stated/recommended) and overcooked. There was also a lot of strong vinegar dressing on the salad. I couldn’t actually taste what I was eating through the vinegar. Might be a good option for those who don’t like the ingredients as you can’t taste them. On the plus side; staff were friendly, and service was good.

We are regulars and always leave happy and filled :)

So pleased to have the Blackheath branch back. Had a super brunch, sitting outside with the dog. All good, again!

Food was generally good. Chicken rather overcooked and dry but sea bass looked good. Service was attentive and pleasant. Restaurant socially distanced but still full Slightly noisy. Glad they are open.

It was lovely to return after missing our evening visits for so long. Pleased to receive a welcome and to enjoy again such good service and delicious food. The rhubarb cocktail to start was good too. Look forward to return of additional (early) menu for customers who arrive before the "rush hour".

We really enjoyed our dinner. Nice to return to Cote after several months. The goat's cheese ravioli is delicious, great choice for us vegetarians! Will definitely book again soon .

First visit back to a restaurant and it did not disappoint. We enjoyed every morsel - everything was perfect. I highly recommend the sea food stew!

Delicious fillet steak - cooked perfectly! Great service! The only negative was the cranberry juice tasted watered down/weak as though it was squash.

The vegetarian risotto, which I have had before was lacking taste. Disappointing! Otherwise everything was good

It was great to be back again after so long. Food was delicious, and arrived quickly. Service was very friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble - even asking for well done toast which we got and were delighted with! Thanks again for another wonderful breakfast.
