Enjoyed a fantastic breakfast with family. As always the service was top notch. Always find the waiting staff very friendly and attentive. Will return again soon.

Fast, attentive and friendly service even at lunchtime on Good Friday and the place was packed! It's a nice environment, very clean and we settled quickly. Lovely food too, especially the calimari. I'd definitely go back.

The food was lovely and the staff worked really hard but it was very understaffed and this meant we waited quite a long time which meant due to only having 3 hours parking we couldn't have dessert. This was not the fault of the staff on duty as they were working really hard there just weren't enough people serving.

As usual staff were very helpful and friendly. Our meals were nicely displayed and cooked, and the one error made in serving a latte coffee instead of flat white, was instantly corrected with new coffees and apologies. The whole standard was high, as we have been used to since starting to eat there. Well done Cote!

As we have said on numerous occasions, this has to be one of the best restaurants in Bristol - why go anywhere else ! Wonderful team of servers under General Manager Hannah. Summer - Melody - to name just a couple. Wonderful exerience.

Second impromptu visit on Easter Saturday. Good food with plenty of choice, great atmosphere, friendly and responsive staff. Will be one of my regular haunts.

Staff greeted us on arrival and were friendly and helpful. One of our party was late and the staff seamlessly delayed the arrival of our meal so as not to embarrass the late guest. Excellent food, great atmosphere. We will be returning.

We would like to say we enjoyed the venue, but wish we had a choice of seating. It was our wedding anniversary. I enjoyed my meal, but my wife, s comment was that there was a heap of chick peas which spoilt the flavour of the fish. Service was excellent. The lunch time special was not up to the value.

We were looked after very well for a table of 8. wine , food and service was excellent !! Atmosphere is also excellent will sure to return soon .

We had the early bird menu which isn't as good as it used to be although it is good value. The tables are too close together and it was very noisdy. Very good service did help to make it a pleasant experience.

We had a lovely lunch on Sunday at Cote in Clifton Village, it was quite busy but we didn't have to wait long for our drinks. It did take us ages to decide what to have to eat as there is a lot of choice, but we all went for the same starter and two of us had the same main course. Too full up to have desert but the coffee was good.

As always we were well looked after by friendly staff with excellent food and drink. We will all make further reservations at Clifton village for meals! JLW.

Reserved a table for 8 requested a table on the upper level had a table at the lower level lighting very dark and gloomy. Request pointless as there was room.

We were warmly welcomed in Clifton and had a super mea.: well presented, delicious food. It was all promptly served by really nice waiting staff. Definitely be back. Highly recommended!

Excellent meal - the calamari was particularly delicious and that was followed by the Breton chicken with garlic butter - mouthwatering- haven't tasted a chicken quite so chickeny in years - love to know where they get them from. Service as usual was attentive and friendly.

We enjoyed our meal but it was quite noisy, so difficult to hear the conversation. The Syrah red wine was delicious. The vegetables were find, without butter as we requested but they have an odd habit at Cote Brasserie of putting opinions in with the peas.

Its a very pleasant restaurant, located at the heart of Clifton Village, the staff are good and food always reliable and of a good standard.

The table situation, comfort, ambience and service was great. Disappointed to be informed that my chosen 4 fish dish wasn't available quite a little while after ordering. I agreed to the offered 'alternative' - a hake version. I received a mediocre one fish pie, a little on the dry side. Hake and potato basically. My main comment would be the 12% service charge which altho' stated as 'optional' is automatically included in the printed bill. It is awkward - and acutely embarrassing in front of guests - to ask for the amount to be reduced. 12% service charge is a lot on top of quality meal prices (+ extra for veg) for those of us not loaded and perhaps 'pushing the boat out' for a special occasion - and particularly if anything falls short of expectations. I feel strongly that service charge/tips should be left to the discretion of the bill payer and dislike feeling coerced into it to avoid embarrassment. I always tip entirely dependent on all the factors for having an enjoyable evening as well as of course, FOOD quality/availability and value for money.

All was lovely except 12 1/2% service charge all ready added to our bill £21 tip 😏Our waiter was very friendly and our food came quickly and we didn't have to wait too long between courses

We had an evening meal in the Bristol branch, a great experience. Excellent atmosphere, service and food. Would also recommend for Coeliacs, the GF menu is excellent.

As usual the Cote experience was really good. Cote is consistent which is a rare find, staff always polite and helpful and food and wine excellent.

Service slow. Staff more interested in laying tables than serving. Usually good but not this time. I expect to be asked if we'd like a drink whilst selecting the menu not just left ther for a good 15 mins without even a glass of water. Not impressed

Excellent, mum's85 birthday. The staff were very helpful and pleasant and everyone enjoyed their food. They were considerate of mum giving us a table on the lower floor.

Service was excellent. The fact that wine was spilt was noticed and attended to promptly. We all enjoyed our food. I thought the scallops were beautifully cooked. As always I received a warm welcome.

The food and service are always outstanding. It has a brilliant ambience and definitely worth a visit. There menus have so much choice so there is something for everyone and it is very reasonably priced. I highly recommend it!

Can't fault it at all. We had the fixed price 3course meal. Excellent value. Service was very good and friendly. It was busy and there was a good atmosphere, but even so the service was prompt. It was my birthday and I even had a candle in my apple crumble !

Nice place. Big! Didn't expect that size. Little bit loud and they sat us next to the toilet. Nice food. Highly recommended. Definitely will come back.

A nice restaurant with very plesant staff. Food was very good quality but starters seemn proportionately expensive compared with main course prices. Also bread is extra as any side dishes. Plus 12.5% is added to all billls which seems over the top especially as they market themselves as inexpensive. Having said all that was a very enjoyable and good quality meal.

Food was delicious, the ambience great, but overall the service was not as good as I'd experienced on other visits to Cote in Clifton Village.

We couldn't fault the food but the service was incredibly slow. My parents reminded us that due to slow service on previous visits they had sworn not to return. Unfortunately I did not know this when I booked.

Very helpful staff. Great atmosphere and very good food served tastefully and hot. Will be going again but trying probably the afternoon to see if it matches up. All in all very good

Nothing to complaint about. Good food and good service. The only thing was the surrounding noise, but that is not possible to control any way.
