The food and service were excellent, but it was very noisy, and even having a round table it was very difficult to hold a conversation

Buzzy atmosphere, great food and speedy friendly service, despite a full restaurant. Good for people-watching with quite a glamorous crowd in on a Friday night.

Great service - as always. Food was quite up to the high standard that we've previously had there, but very good nevertheless. We had three courses, and even enjoyed a free bottle of wine as our welcome to "Cote Rewards"

Fantastic meal in a relaxed atmosphere with a really nice vibe. There were four in our party and we had some table nibbles at first followed by 3 courses and drinks with coffees to follow and a bill that came in under £100, a great night out without breaking the bank.

Great food and service. One of the waiters in particular made a special effort. Staff were very kind to my elderly mum. Come here every time I visit Bristol .

Good food, good service, but pork dish was not as nice as usual (crackling burnt). Kir Royals very nice indeed. Wine good quality if not oustandijg value.

As usual for Côte, a professional and efficient experience with plenty of menu choice even on the special lunch menu, and delicious dishes. What's not to like?

Had a really lovely meal. It was served lovely and hot and portions were a good size .. ! We had the set three course meal which was great valve and not stingy like some restaurants! Absolutely wonderful in every way! It was a birthday meal and we were greeted with complimentary glasses of fizz and the pudding came with a candle and Happy Birthday written in chocolate on the plate. Service was excellent and the food delicious. Lovely convivial atmosphere. My goats cheese starter was so good. Will definitely go back there!

Food and service were great. Duck particularly. However the crackling on belly pork was too firm. Tricky to park on a Sat night. Love the restaurant.

I took my sister for a meal her on a Friday evening last week, I ordered the duck and she had the fish stew, we both loved the food, and certainly didn't need a starter, the ambience is lovely, with a soft buzzy vibe, nice for a romantic dinner or a girls night out, lovely wine menu too! Will definitely go back

Very efficient, professional staff, as well as lovely food. We were greeted immediately on entering and shown to the table we had requested. Starters and main courses came with expert timing, and were delicious. Highly recommended.

We have ordered calamari and anchovy passaladier as starters and both of them are out standing quality. Staffs are very helpful and tried their best to accommodate us when we arrived the restaurant 30mins earlier than the booking (the restaurant was full).

The staff were polite and delivery of service was prompt and efficient and done with a smile. When asking about gluten free food were give a menu straight away for the person who needed it. We also said we were cold because of the air conditioning and this was dealt with promptly. All in all a love visit especially as we had brought my Neice and her daughter visiting from New Zealand who loved it all.

Lots of choice, also specials menu & seasonal menu. Friendly staff and good atmosphere. We had a relaxing time there, no rush to vacate the table.

Cote is by far the best multiple outlet restaurant chain. The standard at every restaurant is identically excellent. I choose to go to these restaurants regularly throughout the country

Food good (as ever) but service impersonal. What happened to that personal touch we used to love, and which took us back again and again? Just another Clifton restaurant now.

Lovely food, great service. Didn't appreciate having service charge added at more than 10% - would be embarrassing to ask to have it adjusted and would be very happy to pay 10%, but our total bill was £188 and the automatic service charge was £20 so not sure what percentage was but in my mind it was way too presumptive.

We were looked after very well for a table of 8. wine , food and service was excellent !! Atmosphere is also excellent will sure to return soon .

We regularly visit Cote and it has never disappointed. It is unpretentious, good French cuisine which is consistently and reliably good. The French Onion soup is great! The staff are efficient and professional but friendly too

As we have said on numerous occasions, this has to be one of the best restaurants in Bristol - why go anywhere else ! Wonderful team of servers under General Manager Hannah. Summer - Melody - to name just a couple. Wonderful exerience.

Staff greeted us on arrival and were friendly and helpful. One of our party was late and the staff seamlessly delayed the arrival of our meal so as not to embarrass the late guest. Excellent food, great atmosphere. We will be returning.

I go to Cote as I always get great service and can rely on the consistent level of quality food. I would definitely recommend it to family and friends.

We had a lovely lunch on Sunday at Cote in Clifton Village, it was quite busy but we didn't have to wait long for our drinks. It did take us ages to decide what to have to eat as there is a lot of choice, but we all went for the same starter and two of us had the same main course. Too full up to have desert but the coffee was good.

As always we were well looked after by friendly staff with excellent food and drink. We will all make further reservations at Clifton village for meals! JLW.
