We had requested a quiet table and that was what we got which worked perfectly for us. The rest of the restaurant seemed quite noisy in comparison to our quiet alcove! Great for catching up with friends. We liked the choice of two early evening set menus and the food was served quickly and piping hot.

Three of us came for Dinner on Mother’s Day,and we all had a wonderful time. The restaurant was very busy as we expected but the service and the food was fantastic. The desert (Mirrabel tart)was the best ever,hope to see that on the menu again. 10 out of 10 for everything,well done and thank you to all the staff. One very happy Mother.

I always feel confident that I will get a good meal at Cote. Being a Coeliac it is comforting to have a gluten free menu available so that I can choose freely and know that I will not have to worry that any gluten is hidden in one of the dishes. The Moules were up to the usual standard and my steak was perfect. I do not get the chance to have frites very often when eating out so this is always a treat for me.

The overall meal was very nice. However, the Duck was a bit dry and needed more gratin potatoes, and the waitress ordered the wrong Lamb dish for one of the party which meant the extra vegetables arrived halfway through the meal.

As usual it was excellent. Our booked table was ready when we got there. The sword fish and complimentary chocolate mouse were both excellent. The free chilled water was all we needed to drink and the bill was modest. What’s more they had turned off the music which made conversation much easier.

Excellent supper at Côte last night! Having eaten at the Cambridge restaurant countless times over the years we always enjoy the really consistent food and fabulous service, but our most recent visit was undoubtedly the best we’ve ever had here. Food was quite superb, the Tiger Prawn salad (March special) was great and the Escalope of Veal (back finally, summer must be near!) was exceptional. Altogether a delightful evening, rounded off with the usual outstanding service we always receive at Côte.

Have had good experience at Cote previously but recent visit was very disappointing. The waiter that took our order was very offhand and borderline rude. Our poached eggs arrived stone cold and several items were forgotten and had to be requested. They did deal with our complaint well though, replaced the waiter serving us and gave us a discount on the final bill. Was a shame though as it has put me off going again.

Our party of four all had a lovely experience for a relative’s birthday and pre-theatre meal. The waitress was very friendly and our meals were all delicious and served just right in terms of timing. It was only our second visit to Cambridge Cote, having eaten at Bury St Edmunds previously, and we will certainly be back. Cote really set the gold standard in terms of staff, food and ambience. The meal was to catch up with a friend visiting from Australia. We were given a quiet space, as requested. The food appeared in good time and was just as delicious as I have come to expect from Côte. The service was friendly and not overwhelming. We were not rushed in any way and spent two and a half hours at our table. We were both very happy with the whole experience. I was only disappointed by the coffee - very strong and a little bitter.

We love Cote. I always end up with the squid & duck and my wife with the gf charcuterie and fish stew despite the fact there are other things on the menu fhat we have tried and love. Very efficient service and pleasant staff. Congrats to all staff, especially fhe manager who runs a tight but friendly ship. Lovely meal for my wife's birthday.

Had a great meal at Côte Cambridge. Booked a table for 7, online, on the day and had quite a few options for time, excellent service, no fuss. Mentioned we were celebrating someone's birthday milestone and they greeted us with bubbly. Waitress was great, food was wonderful, had a really good evening, will definitely be going again.

Service is always very personal here. All the staff seem to be well trained. You can rely on the food too, seldom had an issue and on the odd occasion it has been rectified to our satisfaction quickly! Love Cote, have been to a few other branches and I have to say Cambridge is always the best.

Service was excellent from the maitre d’ showing us to our table and sorting out drinks. Attentive service from our waitress who treated my 11 year old son the same as myself, to the degree he had the confidence to request the bill. Food was lovely as usual so overall a very happy special meal for the two of us. Thank you.

I can never fault this restaurant - from the very friendly, efficient and attentive staff to the beautifully presented food, this place never disappoints. We went with our friends today for my birthday and received a complimentary glass of kir royale all round. They were very impressed with our meals and I'm sure will be back. The calamari was crisp and delicious and if I have one criticism, it's that the portion was too big! The pork rillettes and onion soup were much enjoyed too. Our mains of Breton chicken, salmon and pork tenderloin were all perfect. The deserts are always top notch! Another lunch that we thoroughly enjoyed.

Fabulous time we went for birthday celebrations and the waiter was brilliant we had free drink and a candle on the desert :-) , fantastic meal and we will definately be dining here again

we were a party of 4, one couple celebrating their wedding anniversary and one person their birthday. The treatment we got was above and beyond what we expected, with a complementary drink each plus a special little birthday cake which was on a specially decorated plate. We all were very grateful to the Manageress and her staff, what a wonderful experience.

Delicious duck though our dishes arrived rather lukewarm. The manager put this right by offering desserts on the house, Much appreciated, Charming service from our Romanian waitress. Helpings are not large. Buzzy atmosphere.

Very nice fillet steak with a nice macon villages white and a calamari stater (was a lot of calamari!) It was a little hot in the restaurant but staff were all very friendly

Arrived a few minutes early and asked to wait to be shown to our table' choice of 2. We had a great meal with equally good service. In addition as we had signed up to receive there newsletter we had a complimentary bottle of wine.

Lovely food, great location but does need some blinds on the front where the doors slide open, too hot to sit there when the sun is out.

Excellent food and service.......as always. The evening was a complete success from arrival to leaving. My party of six had no complaints whatsoever and three of them had never eaten at a Cote before and were amazed at the standard of food and service . Cambridge Cote has never let me down.

Quality was good, but not as good as the one in South (Burgess Hill). Still good food and good service, happy to come back, but nothing 'wow'.
