Efficient, friendly service. Slightly overpriced: lunch for 2 - £72. Food, as always, well presented with correct portion sizes. Only gripe was that pissaladiere and other cooked bread-based sides were over-cooked, dry and tasteless.

Nice bustling atmosphere. Food was lovely and well priced. Only blip was the waiter completely forgot to bring me my pudding. Not a hanging offense but it meant I had to ask for it which is never ideal

Service prompt and friendly although the restaurant was full. The Breton fish stew was a winner, really outstandingly good.

Having always enjoyed meals at Cote in the past I was disappointed yesterday as my Sister's chicken was very under-cooked .this was her first visit and it spoiled the meal for her .Fortunately the dessert was up to the usual high standard and the staff were brilliant .

I happened to eat here on both Friday and Saturday nights, and on both occasions was delighted with the experience. The food was excellent, and terrific value. On Friday in particular, when the restaurant was completely full, the service was outstanding. Cote is definitely one of my favourite restaurants in Cambridge.

I have booked this restaurant twice in the past two week s and both times on arrival have beentold that certain tables were not available as they had been 'specially requested'. In fact we sat down at one and were quite rudely told to move . However, on both occasions the tables were not taken by the end of our visit. Perhaps the value of customers who are actually in the restaurant is not as great as the value of customers who might, or might not, arrive later. Think this policy needs reviewing.

We arrived on time; shown our table - next door people arrived and were attended to and served almost immediately;we chose the pre theatre menu - it was adequate but very very small portions - the toulouse sausage dish was just TWO sausages! the chicken dish was mostly mashed potato and very little chicken; the chocolate pot was miniscule;so value for money nil points! On another point - we had made our reservation the day before; arrived on time at due date and time; WHEN we returned home later that afternoon, there was an email from Cote stating that at 12.21 they had decided to cancel our reservation!! This is POOR practice - on whose authority had they cancelled our reservation? despite this- we were on time and the waitress DID have our reservation

An excellent experience. The visit, to celebrate my birthday, was enhanced by the 2 complimentary glasses of wine. Service was excellent despite the restaurant being very busy.

Côte is one of the few places in Cambridge where it is possible to dine, and dine well, after the theatre or a concert. I dined there on Tuesday, and although we were the only people in the restaurant at the end of the evening, there was no pressure of any kind from the management or staff to hurry us out so they could go home. Their courtesy and hospitality were outstanding. And so was the food.

We're going back tomorrow!So that's okay then. Enough of this!

Busy, as always, but a queue at 6pm is unusual. Happily we had booked.

The food was tasty - you felt as though you'd had a proper dinner, though would have liked bread to be provided automatically, as in a French restaurant. Good choice of dishes and prices to suit everyone. Service was excellent - warm, friendly and fun. Atmosphere lively but not too loud. Excellent value for money. We had a good evening.

This is one of our favourite restaurants in Cambridge. Although it is part of a chain the quality of the food and service is equal to that of an individual restaurant.

We were celebrating a get together of old friends and needed a light open space that had great food and wine, views and service. Cote provided it all

Really excellent, authentic French cuisine served expertly in a pleasant space. It's a wide ranging menu so something for everybody. Highly recommended to anybody who likes French food. We had excellent moules frites, onion soup. The creme au caramel was wonderful.

Another satisfying visit to Cote, Cambridge before a graduation. Excellent food quality and attentive service. Although the restaurant was busy, we did not feel rushed and noise levels were good.

Friendly service, with well cooked food and fresh ingredients, well presented. Always busy, but not rushed with good organisation of staff. If any errors with food or bill, always corrected efficiently and politely.
