Usually give 6 stars but last night's visit was slightly lacking the excellent service we are used to so we are all disappointed.

Food only average. Lamb very fatty and we pointed that out and were given a free dessert. The waiting staff were very good - found us a quiet table when requested. Good on the whole, but a little disappointing as we had had better experiences there previously, and we had taken friends, assuring them that the food was excellent, which on this occasion it was not.

Was a good evening - staff attentive - we asked for a table that was quiet, and they helped with that. Food only average.

We’ve just had a lovely meal and great value too! Cote get it right consistently and the staff are lovely in the Cambridge branch!

Everything up to expectations and a friendly waiter but not over-familiar.

We are regulars and felt the service was slow and lacking attentiveness by comparison with other experiences. The food was good though not outstanding.

Very nice meal with excellent service from staff. We ate the prestige lunchtime menu which gave a good choice. In particular the gazpacho soup was very good, and the creme caramel was excellent.

Although we had to wait about 45 minutes for the table we were compensated with a bottle, the meal and service was great.

Visited Côte with friends on a Saturday evening. It’s was very busy but the service still remained very good and did the food. Would recommend Côte for a relaxed dinner that is good value for money.

I tried Cote Brasserie with my friend and will certainly be returning, food and service was first class and the prices were not too bad either.

Excellent food and service. All the team were good and looked after us well. We come to Cote every month.

The staff are all so professional and polite both on the phone and in person. My only slight niggle is that we had pre-ordered for 1.00pm but it was quite a bit later that we actually got served and in the meantime no one came to get a drink order from us - I needed to catch the eye of a waitress. Other than that the food was lovely and the 'star' and reason for the meal enjoyed herself. Thank you.

Was disappointing. My girlfriend’s mom ordered the pork tenderloin on the prestige menu and it was still pink. Had to send it back but it took a long time for it to return, by which point the rest of us had already finished. Also, getting the bill took a while and could have been a bit faster.

I can certainly recommend Côte Brasserie Cambridge. It has a good selection included on the menu and the food we had on our visit was well cooked and well presented. The restaurant has plenty of tables and the atmosphere is always friendly.

Lovely lunch with our favourite bistro Cote in Cambridge, great food, service and a nice atmosphere as always.

Usual good service, pleasant surroundings and lovely food, on this occasion the Chicken Liver Pate and, for the first time, a Cheese and Mushroom Crepe (not improved by the watercress embellishment).

This was our first time at a Cote Brasseriere and we were very impressed and look forward to visiting Cote again. We had the swordfish and the duck breast and both were delicious, as were the desserts. We did find the main dishes rather small and would have liked some more potatoes or veg etc to come with it rather than having to order them as extra side dishes. Water was provided automatically at the table which I am always pleased about. The service was friendly and polite yet unobtrusive. From our experience at this Cote Brasserie we would consider it one of the better chain restaurants.

Exceptionally good meal. I am a vegetarian and the food was a delight. My companion is a vegan and she was equally satisfied. We had a nice table overlooking the street which was light and airy. Service fine. I come regularly. Well done. Best wishes.

Always a great meal at this particular Cote. There’s something special about the team here in Cambridge. It’s always busy, so book. If you like good, French style, healthy food, great gluten free menu, and a quality value wine list then this particular Cote is perfect.

There are a number of dishes that are well conceived and fairly well executed. The service can be amateurish, but is usually friendly. There are some decent wines at reasonable prices.

I had the most amazing fish stew this time I was in Cote and I would recommend it to anyone ! Definitely having that again !!! Service Fabulous as always.

Amazing! In my booking I made reference to the fact the meal was celebrating my Mum and Dads wedding anniversary. A very warm welcome greeted us and a lovely table by the window awaited. Then we were wowed by the gift of 4 glasses of complimentary champagne to celebrate the anniversary. It was a lovely gesture. The meal was lovely, as was the service and with dessert for my Mum and Dad they had written on the plate “Happy Anniversary from the Côte team, Cambridge.” Again, a lovely gesture. I was very impressed. In conclusion, our experience exceeded our expectations and we can’t commend the staff and service we received enough at Côte Cambridge. Thank you.

This is a truly amazing restaurant with superb French cooking and outstanding service. I have Celiacs and they offered an extensive gluten-free menu (in addition to their regular one). I ordered the salmon with ratatouille and it was superb as was my husband's (not gluten-free) Cornish chicken with Normandy sauce. The restaurant has an elegant look and a lovely subdued ambiance which we appreciated after a busy hot day in Cambridge. Honestly, this was the nicest dinner we've had since coming to the UK. Really top-notch dining experience.
