My boyfriend and I celebrated our 3 years of being together and the evening was perfect. We went for the 3 course New Years Eve menu and the food came quick and was presented beautifully. The taste was amazing. The waitress was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The tables for 2 at the back of the restaurant are a bit too close to each other but luckily we did not have someone on both sides so it wasn’t too cramped.

Service staff differed all very polite and presented well. Fell down on the wine pairing twice we had already recieved and was eating our meal before the wine had arrived. Shame as food was amazing atmosphere was amazing.

The New Year Menu was very good value for money and well paced. The staff were dressed for the occasion and were joining into the festive mood. Well done for the consistent great service.

The French toast breakfast was delicious and so filling. This was our first time having breakfast here, we will definitely be back.

Good menu choice and food served hot by a very polite and diligent waitress. Most enjoyable and will certainly return.

The food was generally good although not exceptional. The waitress who served us appeared to be bored, she was sullen and all four of us agreed - rude in her manner. A waiter cleared up our plates but managed to drop a knife from the plate that was covered in sauce, if I hadn't managed to stop it with my hand it would have messed up my shirt with a creamy mess. The waiter neither apologised nor cleaned up the mess the knife had made to the table. When presented with the card reader to pay, the optional service charge had already been included to the charge, when I asked the same waitress to remove the service charge her already unpleasant demeaner worsened as she gave us a Happy New Year with obvious sarcasm. Staff training urgently required! Tips need to be earnt for good service. Sadly we were very disappointed.

We had a lovely family meal. The food was amazing, I had the fish stew it was perfect. Our waitress was beyond helpful. Could not fault it. This is why Cote in Cambridge is my favour restaurant.

Just a comment on your gluten free breakfast menu. Suggest you delete the sausage from the full English as it's not gluten free according to the waiter who checked with the chef. This was at the Cambridge branch but other than this niggle all was well

Mistakes with order. Only bought one mains . Had to wait while another was done. Veg then cold dried out & inedible. They did deduct that and our desserts from the bill however... We waited ages for desserts which were cold anyway and the Coffee was cold. Still think the bill was a lot for cold dried unpleasant food with a long waiting time. We were the last to leave. Some of the Staff had their coats on while we ate long awaited desserts. Not usual for Cote I must say.

A ‘niche’ restaurant, highlighting French cuisine and outstanding service and menus which are constantly reviewed. We eat here regularly, knowing that we can rely on the staff for discrete but attentive service and meals well above the standards of your local competitors.

Great menu choice, prompt service, pleasant professional staff. We enjoyed last night immensely I found the level of noise distracting and this made it difficult to hear as I wear hearing aids However, The staff dealt with this discreetly by pulling a dividing curtain without being asked.

Booked a table and requested a 'quiet spot' but made no difference as nothing had been reserved for us Food was good but wine by the glass is over priced. Took ages to pay. No one was paying any attention could have walked out.

Food was delicious and the service was good. It can be a little noisy, but it did not spoil our meal.

Helpful, friendly staff, delicious food and wine and a great atmosphere! What more could you ask for? I’m constantly please by the consistency of all your branches and will continue to eat there. My favourite is Bury St Edmunds though.

The service was excellent especially two young ladies. One lady picked up dropped cutlery and replaced it in a second and the other lady re-filled our water without us having to ask.

Wonderful Birthday meal for our Daughter. Six of us in total, all had different meals. Every one was deliciously yummy. The service was superb, as per usual. Never had a bad meal at Cote yet & we have been quite a few times & to different venues. Would thoroughly recommend Cote to anyone, if you love beautiful French food, then this is the place for you.
