We eat at Cote' Cambridge a few times a year and it is never less than excellent. Good choice of food and friendly efficient service. It's always worth booking ahead as the restaurant does get very busy

Three of us came for Dinner on Mother’s Day,and we all had a wonderful time. The restaurant was very busy as we expected but the service and the food was fantastic. The desert (Mirrabel tart)was the best ever,hope to see that on the menu again. 10 out of 10 for everything,well done and thank you to all the staff. One very happy Mother.

I always feel confident that I will get a good meal at Cote. Being a Coeliac it is comforting to have a gluten free menu available so that I can choose freely and know that I will not have to worry that any gluten is hidden in one of the dishes. The Moules were up to the usual standard and my steak was perfect. I do not get the chance to have frites very often when eating out so this is always a treat for me.

We came here as first time visitors to Cote as a hen party last weekend. Myself and the party I was with blown away with the service that was offered. Professional, friendly accommodating to a change in the pre order and the food was of exceptional quality. A great all round visit and will definitely be back! Thanks Cote!

Good food in pleasant surroundings and reasonably priced. Friendly and attentive staff. Imaginative choice of main courses and starters. Early evening fixed-price menu good value. Recommended.

We visited Cambridge for a weekend away and booked cote brasserie for our final evening in the city. I ordered the crab mayonnaise, my partner had mussels which were so good we split them in half so we could both savour them. For mains I had the duck breast and he had a sirloin, both were cooked perfectly and all elements of the meal were utterly delicious. Desserts were chocolate fondant and a cheese board again both were excellent. I ordered a baileys float coffee which was not on the menu but they were more than happy to accommodate. The wait staff were very attentive and the overall service was excellent. We would highly recommend this restaurant and would consider visiting Cambridge again with the sole intention of returning to cote brasserie.

The meal was to catch up with a friend visiting from Australia. We were given a quiet space, as requested. The food appeared in good time and was just as delicious as I have come to expect from Côte. The service was friendly and not overwhelming. We were not rushed in any way and spent two and a half hours at our table. We were both very happy with the whole experience. I was only disappointed by the coffee - very strong and a little bitter.

We love Cote. I always end up with the squid & duck and my wife with the gf charcuterie and fish stew despite the fact there are other things on the menu fhat we have tried and love. Very efficient service and pleasant staff. Congrats to all staff, especially fhe manager who runs a tight but friendly ship. Lovely meal for my wife's birthday.

Our first visit to this branch. It was a special occasion so when I asked for a good table, the staff obliged without hesitation. All the staff were absolutely lovely which contributed greatly to our evening. The service was excellent and the food in the main very good. Unfortunately there were a couple of problems. My husband's starter of smoked salmon came with distinctly stale bread but when he mentioned this the charge for the starter was immediately removed from the bill, which was pleasantly surprising! Less so was the rare ribeye my son ordered, which was then presented as medium sirloin. A quick check with the kitchen and we were told all was well. My son was asked to check his steak and he said it was fine as all our meals had been served and he didn't want to delay us all, but his meat was definitely not rare, which detracted somewhat from his, and therefore our, enjoyment. Nevertheless it was a pleasant and enjoyable evening and I would happily return.

Excellent service and great food. Merlot wine a good option and plenty of tap water served as well. Food well cooked and presented well. Waiter very experienced and helpful. A good experience.

We like Cote resturants. We particully use the ones in Bridge Street , Cambridge and in St Martin's near Liecester Square, London. Last night we gave ourselves 1 hour 45 minutes for a two course meal and drinks. Twenty minutes after we had finished our main course, a member of staff came and cleared the plates etc. 10 minutes later we were asked if we wanted a desert, which we did. The food eventually came but now we were now running out of time to get to a theatre. We asked for the bill as soon as the deserts arrived, and the cost of the deserts had been refunded. Good customer relations, thankyou, but we would prefer a little more attention to your customers at Cambridge. This will not deter us from visiting again, but please attend the customers with a bit more thought.

Our local Cote Brasserie is Norwich, which is consistently excellent. We ate today in Cambridge after meeting up with some family members and were very dissapointed overall with our lunch experience. The service was very slow and the restaurant seemed under staffed. The waiter who served us was very stand-offish and disinterested when taking our order. We waited a very long time for plates to be cleared between courses. The food was ok but only warm at best and seemed as though as though it had been waiting for a while under a hot lamp, before being served. Overall not the quality of service or food that we have been used to receiving at our local Cote.

We celebrated a friend’s birthday at Cote Cambridge. The staff decorated the table for us and provided free birthday champagne for us all. Staff were very friendly and the food was fabulous!

Service is always very personal here. All the staff seem to be well trained. You can rely on the food too, seldom had an issue and on the odd occasion it has been rectified to our satisfaction quickly! Love Cote, have been to a few other branches and I have to say Cambridge is always the best.

Our overall view was this was a disappointing lunch. The greeter was poor. We had to wait a long time to be seated, even though we had booked a table and there were many vacant tables when we arrived. The service was very slow and inadequate. We waited a very long time for both the starter and especially the main course. Even to pay at the end, we had to chase the staff three times and then to wait again to make the payment. The food was unfortunately mediocre. We chose the set menu. The soup was lacking in taste and was diluted. It was also not hot enough. We have done so much better at your other branches. Someone needs to manage the branch much more efficiently.

This was a lovely, relaxed Sunday lunch in central Cambridge. Tasty, fresh food with a good glass of wine. Highly recommended.

Four of us booked for your April Experience and all had a great meal. Lovely, attentive staff and although the restaurant was full, all the courses were delivered as requested. Great food, great staff, great atmosphere - as usual. This is our favourite restaurant in Cambridge - and there are many, many to choose from. Thank you.

We had a nice meal, my wife choosing from the standard pre-theatre set menu, and myself from the new Prestige selection. I had gots cheese starter followed by salmon mains, and my wife had pear and endive salad followed by chicken. All courses were served promptly and very tasty. We finished our meal in good time for the theatre, without feeling rushed (about 75 minutes in total). The restaurant was a little busier than last time we were here, presumably due to the pleasant spring weather. This dded to the overall ambience.

Consistent, reliable and delicious! First time in Cambridge restaurant and we loved the atmosphere. Would recommend to anyone looking for an easy lunch or dinner that’s a bit more special than the other high street chains but at the same price point! All round fab!

Good consistent food at sensible price. The restaurant is always lively and is fortunate to be set in a very vibrant area of the city. The Staff are always welcoming and the place seems very well managed by an unusual maitre'd . Would definitely recommend for an affordable evening with friends.

We enjoyed our meal very much. We booked online, so our table was ready on arrival. The atmosphere was bubbly but not too noisy and we received attentive (but not intrusive) service. Food and wine delicious!

The food is excellent and the set lunch menu fantastic value in a lovely setting. Our waitress wasn't very friendly unfortunately though and seemed annoyed that we didn't want wine, bread, olives. She also was cross that our table rocked. I will go back though as it is a nice place to meet friends and I have never had anything that wasn't really delicious.

Excellent food and service.......as always. The evening was a complete success from arrival to leaving. My party of six had no complaints whatsoever and three of them had never eaten at a Cote before and were amazed at the standard of food and service . Cambridge Cote has never let me down.

Altogether, a splendid experience - as always when we have come to eat. A slight niggle over the volume of the music which we became aware of as we were about halfway through our dessert course (we were sitting right beneath one of the speakers); we mentioned it to our waiter and he said he would attend to it. The noise continued to the end of our meal. Five stars anyway, but the noise level of music played is a sensitive issue and generally, the lower the level, the better(I think).

Delicious food , excellent customer service , a great atmosphere we weren't kept waiting for long at all our meals were delivered promptly . And we had a lovely waiter who was very polite and helpful .

We went to the Cote in Cambridge for my daughter's birthday. The service was friendly and efficient, when the food arrived it was hot and tasty. We also appreciated the complementary birthday drink they kindly provided, what a lovely thought by the management. I have no hesitation in recommending this Brasserie.

The food is always very good, with a very varied menu with friendly and efficient service. The prices are very reasonable indeed and my friend and I always enjoy our lunch prior to going to a matinee at the theatre.

I can’t say it enough but Cote Cambridge comprises great service and food and atmosphere. Still my favourite restaurant.

Quality was good, but not as good as the one in South (Burgess Hill). Still good food and good service, happy to come back, but nothing 'wow'.

We had good time especially that the foods was very nice! Comfortable sit however requested the table not close by the entrance it was the only missing part.. Service was very polite and kind.
