The menu was clear with good choices and the pricing was good. The food was delivered in good time and was excellent. This was our first visit with guests who were also impressed so it is unlikely to be the last time we visit. Staff were personable and accommodating.

Busy Sunday lunchtime but good overall would go again soon

The meal was absolutely supper. It was my husband’s birthday and the staff made it very special indeed. We had a wonderful time and will let everyone know so.

Food and service good, but at £48 for lunch for 2 getting expensive for an up market fast food outlet, much better value for money to be found else where.

Cote always produces top class food. Meats cooked perfectly with well seasoned sauces. The creme caramel is well labelled as a specialty. A great night thanks.

Very efficient, friendly and attentive. Good menu, nice wine. A great deal offering a free bottle of wine. Reminded me of being back in France.

It took over 30 minutes for 3 simple breakfast orders to be delivered to our table, with very little explanation given or apology for the wait. The waiter then started to take away the plates when 1 person was still eating their meal. The food was fine but nothing special.

Love this place! Staff are really friendly and food is well priced and always great! We celebrated a birthday for my mother and the chef made a lovely decorative chocolate pudding with a happy birthday message. Thank you!

As always Canterbury did not disappoint last Wednesday, the staff are always very friendly atmosphere nd willing. We have found other Cote resturants are just as good.

A most courteous and friendly welcome was followed by equally friendly, courteous and efficient service. The meal was excellent and the free bottle of wine (a Cote reward) was most acceptable !

Always guaranteed a varied menu, regularly changed, first class dining at a very reasonsble price. I lived in France for 7 years and eating in a Côte restaurant brings back wonderful memories of eating out in superb places Merci

Always a great experience. Good food good service and a very importantly a great ambiance. On those special dates our thoughts always turn to Cote. A great day when Cote came to Canterbury.

The steak tartare and the onion soup was excellent- the rump of lamb was pink the way I like it served with nice vegetables- my wife had the sea bass with gratin Dauphinois and she loved it. I finish with la crêpe praliné and with all that a Bottle of chardonnay l’Aiglon I have been to Cote about ten times and never had a bad meal.

Again an excellent good value fixed lunch served by nice people in a nice place. Regularly use Cote for lunch and for coffee - No 1 in Canterbury for this style of eating.

Always good standard of food and service. We have used it many times to meet with friends for lunch. Booking system is good online and they even check if you are going to turn up.

I find the business of being constantly asked for my opinion extremely irritating - so much so that I'm going to the bother of typing all this without saying one word further about how the actual meal in the restaurant went.

Very polight and helpful staff. The food is good and is nicely presented. The food menu gives a good choice,also a reasonable drinks menu. We will certainly come again.

Since my last visit I think the recipe for the French Onion Soup has changed. Sadly it is now more like a thick Onion Gravy. My wife had a Crab starter as a main course and felt it a bit lacking in Crab and too much of the other ingredients.

I’ve said it before, but this is by far the best restaurant in Canterbury, regardless of price, for both food and service. Really delicious food that captures the taste of France and, what’s even more remarkable is this restaurant is part of a chain. The chef, the waiters, the manager and company must all be acknowledged for achieving such wonderful standards. Not a thing could have been improved- thank you.

good food and very helpful staff. The January duck special with red cabbage was excellent. my guest enjoyed the cod goujons very much. All in all a very pleasant experience.

The staff were wonderful - friendly, polite and efficient. The restaurant had a nice feel to it and was warm and welcoming on a cold and wet winters afternoon. We were glad it was not too busy as it was New Years Day as had there been people on the next table we would have felt like we were dining with them as the tables were so close together. The food was delicious. We both chose from the set menu. I had the Cauliflower, potato and leek soup followed by the wild mushroom risotto and my husband had the flaked tuna followed by the rabbit cottage pie. All dishes were well presented and tasted lovely. My only complaint would be that neither of my courses were very hot but the flavour more than made up for this so I didn't say anything at the time. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this restaurant and will return next time we are in Canterbury.

I really like it, the place is cosy and the food is really nice. But I think that the optional gratuity of 12,5 % is too much!

The whole experience was really good; food, value for money, menu choice, atmosphere, layout of tables, service and staff. Would recommend this branch of Cote.

The food and service are excellent and reasonably priced. There are two lunchtime menus that while being affordable are still very appealing and appetising. I would strongly recommend this restaurant.

2nd visit & not disappointed. Excellent, friendly & professional staff. Great food, very nicely presented. Cannot fault anything food wise apart from having an upstairs loo but there is a disabled one on the ground floor if difficulty using stairs. We will be back again.

Lovely spot in the heart of Canterbury. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food as you would expected tasted lovely and presented great. Only downside is the loo is up 2 flights of stairs.

Tentative service. Weren’t rushed. Staff were patient with us as 2 of our guests were late and accommodating our younger guest who only needed a small portion

Nice place for a breakfast. Short waiting time to be served and attended to. Hot food and drink ...could have been a little more fruit with the French Toast.

Lovely meal and good service from very friendly staff. Gave my granddaughter a free ice cream as she had to wait a little while for it! Nice touch

Excellent atmosphere, food and service. The Steak Frites are the best outside of France - in fact, better than a lot in France, The rest of the menu is excellent also.

The food is excellent as are the staff. Cannot be faulted.At various times there are set menus.There is a very varied a la carte menu.

I was not expecting much - 'another 'chain' restaurant; probably bog-standard food', I thought. Very wrong! The food is really great and the service absolutely unbeatable. I shall be going to Cote Brasserie again!

Great food, good service and a buzzing atmosphere. They staff are very attentive and have good manners. The menu is great for a lunch meal and not at all expensive.

Nice food, friendly staff, had a long leisurely lunch with friends catching up with no hassle to hurry up. Only blip is the ladies loo, located on the second floor, a very long trek from the main restaurant.

The service was very poor: we ordered olives before the main course and it did not arrive; I needed a gluten free roll which did not arrive. We were not offered the menu for dessert or a hot beverage, once the main course plates were removed! Another negative: we ordered our main courses once we had chosen and the meals took at least 45 minutes to arrive. It was annoying to see other clients arriving after us and their meals came before ours. Not happy.

Excellent friendly service at the right pace. Good menu choice. Food excellent. Will definitely return in the New Year. No problem recommending this restaurant to all our friends.

Everything about the experience was very good. The waitress who looked after my party did a sterling job. When I visit Canterbury again I will be dining at Cote.

Good service and friendly staff but unfortunately medium rare steak cooked as blue! Otherwise okay. Will certainly go again but will probably avoid the steak.
