Ate here for the first time on a short break, Great food and atmosphere, and a pleasure to dine here.
Ate here for the second time in a few days, whilst on a short break to Canterbury. Great food and atmosphere, and a pleasure to dine here.
First class restaurant situated in the heart of Canterbury and just a short walk to the Cathedral entrance. The service is excellent but there is a problem with the lavatories. There is one disabled loo on the ground floor but most people have to traipse upstairs three floors for a wee ! So ,make sure you do not overdo it with the wine.
Centrally located in Canterbury and very convenient for sightseeing. Thoroughly decent restaurant.
We enjoyed lunch at Cote in Canterbury. Very nice sea bass, and great value fixed price menu. The service was excellent…waiter very pleasant and efficient. Great location in centre of Canterbury, very near Cathedral and shops.
The biggest negative about this restaurant is its top floor toilets. It is a major achievement to climb all the stairs to the top floor - whilst avoiding athletic young waiters bounding up and down the stairs to the kitchens. There is a ground floor WC but it seems to be permanently out of order. Top floor loos are a big negative and a major challenge - avoid drinking too much wine if you need to clamber up three floors of steep stairs.

Very nice restaurant in Canterbury city centre. Great for shops and visiting Cathedral. Has nice outdoor space in the summer. There is a good menu and the Fixed price menu is very good value. Staff are friendly and efficient. Can get noisy when busy, as tables are fairly close together.
Food good, service very good. Reasonable value for money, but cheaper alternatives available in Canterbury also doing great good.
We are used to the Côté Brasserie in Salisbury so we saw a huge difference in terms of service and atmosphere. The Salisbury one suits us better
Very good value. Food good and excellent set menu. Service is good and staff pleasant. The restaurant can get crowded and noisy , but it is a pleasant place to eat. Very central Canterbury city centre and near shops and Cathedral.
Polite staff but we arrived early for our booking and were NOT offered a table but required to sit outside.
Enjoyed the food , was really nice to see cheerful staff .
Very good service and food , we know what we are getting at Cote .
lovely food as usual ,we would like to see the menu change a bit more frequently.
Good breakfast except rosti was really small and wasn't worth putting on plate . we wish they would except cash too .
lovely food and lovely treat for my birthday ,as was given a voucher from my son .

It's hard not to over-praise this restaurant with excellent staff. Located right in the centre of Canterbury and an easy stroll from the main sites.
First class and centrally located restaurant. Waiting staff very friendly and talkative. Thoroughly recommend this establishment.
Great restaurant and thoroughly recommended. Central location is perfect for visits to Canterbury.
Lovely food and friendly staff ,we really enjoyed going to cote .
It was a great service experience with wonderful attentive service personnel. Low noise level which allowed me to have good conversation
A nice restaurant in centre of Canterbury, near shops and cathedral. Can get crowded and noise level can get loud. Service is good, and the menu is good…with lots of choice, and fixed price lunch menu is good value. Overall a good place for lunch or early dinner.
Nice lunch menu. Service very good and staff friendly. Very good value and excellent position in centre of Canterbury. Can get very busy at peak periods.
First class restaurant with very good food. Fantastic location in the centre of the city. Service is extremely professional.
A good choice of dishes on the menu. Interesting choice of beers. A wider choice of Malt Whisky offerings would be good. Really recommend the steaks. Vegetarian and vegan fellow diners were very happy.
Fantastic Food and Service! Very Tasty and Good Portions too. We really enjoyed our lunch and will definitely come back!!! 😋😋🥰🥰
First class restaurant which is centrally located in Canterbury. Ideal for a business lunch.
Great service , really enjoyed the food. Will be back soon
First class location and service. Staff are friendly and very professional. Great choice of two menus. Problems are the loos - right at the top (three floors) so, do not attempt a quick sprint after a bottle or two of wine. It's very challenging !
Always reliably good. Food is first class and the service is faultless. Excellent location.
Very good restaurant with a fine choice of two menus. Problems are the loos on the third floor. Do not attempt a quick trip after a bottlre of wine - it could be very challenging.
First class service and the food memorable. The problem at this restaurant is always the toilets. There is a disabled room on the ground floor but it was closed. So it means traipsing three floors upstairs, which is very challenging - especially after enjoying an excellent meal and first class wine. I have complained about this facility failure many times but the management appears to be ignoring my pleas to improve its non-eating/drinking service !
Great brunch. Service excellent. Adhered to C-19. Definitely recommend.
We enjoyed our meals very much. The food and the service were very good. The table were quite close to each other though, no much social distance which was a bit disappointing, but overall a good experience

Always enjoyable ,always perfect service And the food is delicious
The staff and service at Cote as always is wonderful. Nothing is too much trouble and I would definitely recommend Cote if you are looking for something a little different. Great variety on the Menu, there is something for everyone and my Grandson enjoys it as they have a very good Gluten free menu.
Really busy which was good to see. Food, of course, delicious but pity the chocolate desserts had run out!
