Superb food and excellent service. It was a wonderful experience all round. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and Shall definitely return in the future. Thanks very much.

As ever, food and service excellent. The rest of this review is filler as I object to being forced to write a specific number of words. This is not a school essay!

The food was exceptional. Service was very good as well. There were 6 of us and everyone was highly satisfied with the whole experience. Definitely worth recommending.

Always very good service. It's the little things that make your meal feel special. But check your bill they tried to charge me for our free bottle of wine.

A pleasant but busy restaurant. Efficient service with food well presented and cooked. Overall a good experience. Booking is probably to be recommended to avoid disappointment.

Great service and good food as always. Unfortunately there was a very noisy girls night out at a nearby table and couldn't hear each other speaking.

Really friendly staff and very delicious food. It was my birthday so I had a complimentary drink on top (I did register my Cote Card on line for this bonus).

We went to Cote for breakfast and as per usual it was great. the service was exemplary the food really nice. The best breakfast in Canterbury by a long shot.

Good aptmosphere, pleasant and efficient staff plenty of choice on the menu. I would normally score a 5 or a 6 for this restaurant , however on this occasion we were a little disappointed by or lunch choice . my wife's starter choice of mushrooms on brioche was a little light on mushrooms and our choice of minute steak with frys at a £2 supplement per plate could have been improved with a salad garnish or a few green beans for balance and value. Also the service was a little slow on the steak , after we chased it and it arrived it had not been caramelised or rested consequently the plate was quite wet with meat juices.

Friendly efficient service. Excellent food. The restaurant was busy but we were served quickly but not rushed between courses. Will happily recommend this restaurant to my friends.

We really enjoyed our visits to the Cote Brasserie and thought the food was delicious. The service is always very good and the staff are obviously well trained and pleasant. It is always busy which shows how popular it is and has a great atmosphere! I would certainly recommend it and am going again next week!

Cutlery and glasses dirty, soup served cold when asked for it hot when took approx 30 mins to get it back, asked for egg on salad to be well done came runny,asked for mushroom gravy and did not get,

Enjoyed a lunch before attending a show at the Marlowe. Excellent value. Service was prompt and food was very nice. My friend was very impressed with the restaurant and we shall both return.

Definitely a top score of 6 for food, service, drinks, atmosphere and value for money. There are many restaurants and food outlets in Canterbury and this is in my top two..

The food was EXCELLENT, but we will probably not be going again as the loos are not at all convenient. 43 stair-steps away from where we were seated which was a problem for 2 of our party. Service was polite and friendly but slow, considering that we'd wanted a pre-theatre meal. Also disappointing was to be told that of the (only) 3 beers they sell, the one my husband would have liked to try wasn't chilled. Pretty unbelievable when you consider the widely-forecast prediction of unusually warm weather. With so much competition in Canterbury, this branch really needs to 'up' their game. The background music was intrusive rather than ambient.

I recommended Cote Brasserie to my wife and her two friends for lunch during a shopping trip ... they loved it. They will go again without doubt

Wonderful meals with great service from the staff, who could not be more accommodating, will definitely return. Sitting outside under the heated parasols worked to take in the atmosphere of the vibrant city of Canterbury

Amazing food and drink! We took our time so service was longer but we were too busy chatting and the staff let us enjoy the evening. They kindly put my birthday flowers in water and looked after us well. The food was so good and definitely worth the money! I would highly recommend this place. We will be back again, thank you!

My wife and I were recommended to Côte Brasserie and have not been disappointed. We have visited for breakfast lunch AND dinner, each time finding the same courteous and efficient attention to detail. We were pleased to accept the invitation to a free bottle of wine for signing up with Côte and amazingly found that the Chateau Laulerie served to us was a wine we know well, having visited Monsieur Dubard at his vineyard near Bergerac several times. Great choice by Côte! Top marks team!!

Excellent and very friendly service. Had the £10.95 for two courses menu - really good choice of starters and mains. Food was served quickly and was piping hot and delicious.

Enjoyable as always (service, ambience etc) but my wife's meal was a little lacking in flavour for once, hence the '5'. Good house wine for a reasonable price. Birthday 'Kir' much appreciated!

We had a lovely meal chosen from the specials menu. It was beautifully cooked - the best meal we have had at Cote. The staff were helpful and attentive.

Our food was excellent, the manage and staff very helpful, and it is in a good position in the town centre. lt salo has an outdoor area if warm enough to sit outside and eat.

A very good evening and meal better than fine. Service excellent and food tasty good and economical. Weather fine as well so able to take our coffee outside at 7.30 as warmest evenings of year so far.

I always enjoy visiting the Canterbury branch of Cote. The food is always delicious and the staff are lovely. And fantastic value for the lunch and early evening menu. I am never disappointed.

Visited today for lunch. Both the service and food were excellent. The set menu is such great value and delicious. We will definitely be back.

Easy to book on line and welcoming on arrival. Comfortable with efficient service. Tasty food and good value. Nice surroundings with clean washroom. We would recommend it.

Lovely new menu, really enjoyed our meal. Table near the door so a bit drafty. Excellent service as were going to the theatre afterwards. Thanks.

The food was very good (plenty of choice too) and the staff were friendly and obliging. Although I had booked for two, there was no problem in changing it to four. A very pleasant experience! A pity about the climb up two floors (44 steps) to get to the toilet!

This was our second visit at cote brasserie and the second time was as good as the first visit. Food was very good. We had the chicken. This restaurant is well worth a visit.

Whitebait were greasy and not "crisp". Sea bream was unavailable. Breaded chicken was very oily. Hachis parmentier contained large bits of inedible gristle. Desserts OK.

Good food and service as usual. Complimentary bubbly a treat and a nice touch thanks. Pity the toilets are up so many flights of stairs!

Shocking service and management . Staff have no direction . Tables not laid, croisssabts cold, got order wrong, waited too long and had to ask for drinks several times

Very prompt and efficient service,we were greeted and seated straight away. Our waiter was extremely nice and our food was served quickly. We had the crepes which were absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend it.

The service was good and the food acceptable although I was expecting to claim a free bottle of wine which I was told I would have for booking within a month of my first reservation but was told two meals (of the six in my party) had to come from the a la carte menu. As we all preferred food from the other it seems a bit mean to make this condition especially as I was not informed of this before. It is not the loss of wine I feel upset about but this attitude. Not sure whether I or my five friends will return. There is a lot of competition in Canterbury.

The food is delicious, the service impeccable and the atmosphere is perfect. There is a great variety of food on the menu and all well priced. The quality of the food puts Cote the best restaurant on the high street.

Arrivws to be told we couldn't have cooked breakfast because the gas was off. We ordered coffee anyway. The fire alarm then went off, for about 5 minutes. When the chap came to take our orders, we were told we could order cooked food as the gas was on again. So that was something. When the food arrived, I asked for another coffee and was told the coffee machine was broken. Ten minutes later, a 'complimentary coffee' was served to me - they'd got it working again. However, the seating along the windows is uncomfortable because the sun was burning through the (curtainless and shutterless windows). When the bill came it was for £51 + instead of £33 because they hadn't charged us at the forumla rate. Not an enjoyable experience.

Great place to eat, staff friendly polite and efficient. Food was very good. No pressure to eat up and go. So all in all a great meal.
