Good food and very good gluten free menu - better than the Ivy!

Very good meal. Service was good and the atmosphere was inviting. Inevitably prices are rising though.

I was astounded that you should not prepare a Dry Martini from your bar - all that you require is a bottle of Dry Vermouth. It is our favourite aperitif when we go out to celebrate - last night was our 55th wedding anniversary. So the evening started badly. The food was good but the service was a little slow. Good food and friendly professional service. There's a fairly extensive menu, which can be a cause for concern at other restaurants, but not here. Dining at Côte is always a pleasure. A separate vegetarian menu is also available.

The food was tasty and the service was friendly and efficient. Great atmosphere and all round experience. Lovely to see the manageress back from her holiday.

We took some friends with us for their first experience of Cote Brasserie, and I'm happy to say they loved it. We found some excellent choices on both the Lunch and Early Evening menu and the Prestige menu. We all opted for the Prestige menu, and none of us was disappointed with what we ordered. My husband and I have eaten here, and at other branches many times, and we always enjoy our food, but we were delighted that our friends agreed with us!

Excellent food and service, as always, one of the best restaurants in Cheltenham.

From being welcome on arrival, to the attention by our waitress was great. My daughter had the lamb chops and she said they were the best she had ever tasted in a restaurant. I had Breton chicken and that too was excellent. Thank you.

I always enjoy the food at Cote Brasserie. Tried the vegetarian breakfast today which was very good. Service was good and friendly. We like to eat here when we come to Cheltenham for the theatre.

A very positive experience. The free cocktail was v welcome (by booking online) A delicious meal. I had the pork belly & it was sooo good. Followed by the chocolate mousse yummy! Can not recommend it highly enough. Good service too.

First time we’ve ever visited on a Monday evening. It was fairly quiet but the service was really slow. Not much ambience in the restaurant, you got the feeling you were somewhere that was approaching closing time, even at 7pm when we arrived, with still a few more hours left to go. The food was good but don’t like the way the confit duck is now served on a plate instead of the more traditional dish it used to be served in. All in all still good but lacking the usual Thursday, Friday, Saturday atmosphere.....if you’re going to try to fill quieter nights of the week, you need to try harder!

For the first time ever we were disappointed with our main course at Cote we both chose the chicken and bacon parmentier with cabbage and found it very bland and underseasoned in fact it didn't really taste of anything and we struggled to finish it. However the pudding was sublime we both chose the caramel cream and it was well up to your usual standard. The service and ambience were both excellent.

Once again its a ten out of ten for Cote' Cheltenham Great atmosphere, wonderful staff and fabulous food ....every time we visit you all deliver the goods. We'll be back......well done to you all, great team effort from every staff member.

Went for a pre jazz festival dinner. Food and service great as usual. One of my favourite restaurants.

The overall meal was good but I had a sirloin steak it was meant to be medium rare but when I started to eat it I found the meat completely rare in the middle section I handed back the meat to our waiter my friend s steak was fine I was really disappointed

The food was fabulous food,steak cooked to perfection. A great setting plenty of room next to tables. Waitresses provided an amazing service. Can’t wait to go again.

Service was amazing, great start to a day at the Cheltenham festival. The staff were also very accommodating when we came back for an evening meal without booking a table. The food was very tasty and was served incredibly quickly.

Excellent meal last night at the Cheltenham Cote with my wife and daughter. Two of us ate off the Prestige Set Menu and my wife off the a la carte menu. Good choices and the food was well cooked and really enjoyable. Service was excellent. Thanks very much.

The atmosphere was lovely and the staff were really friendly and polite. I ordered the swordfish special and though the meat was cooked perfectly it was sat on some really rather bland beans and sauce (tasting similar to baked beans) with a few pieces of rocket on top. It was rather disappointing which was a shame as everything else was brilliant. The waitress kindly offered a free bubbly and knocked £7 off the bill.

Excellent attentive waitress. Good choice of food. We all enjoyed our meals (party of four). Reassured that gluten free was taken seriously.

Very disappointing meal in Cheltenham. Tough & chewy steak, 'glazed' carrots that were just large boiled carrots with parsley on top (no glaze or finesse whatsoever). Pudding was dire. The praline crepe with caramelised banana was stale, tasteless & served on a plate that was dirty. I won't be returning any time soon.

We had a lovely evening and the staff were very attentive. I do believe though if you are going to add a gratuity to the bill this should be pointed out by the staff at the presentation of the bill
