Food delicious and service excellent. Restaurant was very noisy with no soft furnishings to soften the sounds. The extra charges for small portions of chipped potatoes and green beans was annoying, however the overall value was very good.

As usual excellent breakfast. We were the first customers on Sunday morning so service great at first. Then place was deluged with people and we had to wait quite a while to get anther drink. But staff always friendly here.

We had the 10 year celebration menu was very good. Although the restaurant was vertually empty when we arrived we could not get our requested table. (We are regulars.) Clearly no one had noted our request! The service is sometimes too quick, we had to request a delay between the main course and dessert. Also I believe that a 12.5% service charge is over the top when compared to all other restaurants in the area!

A good choice of menu served promptly and offering excellent. Quiet on day of visit which added to the enjoyment but restaurant can become too noisy when full.

Service was poor tonight. Long wait at every stage. Had to ask repeatedly for service. Short staffed? This isn't usually the case as service is usually excellent.

First visit to Cote Cheltenham. Good food. Wine reasonably priced too. Place was packed on arrival, good job we had booked. Friendly service, what's not to like?

Sadly the service was terrible last night. There was a large party of 20 that arrived an hour after our arrival which then caused the staff to forget our main course. After a reminder it came within 5 minutes but the steak was rare rather than medium. We were given free drinks and one pudding but sadly this did not make up for a very unpleasant night out.

As always, Cote delivers value and service with delicious wine and good food, thank you!! I was introducing my friend to the chain, she had never encountered it but obviously the first of many visits.

food and staff excellent. Noise level in the restaurant is so loud it is enough to make us look for another restaurant -that is a pity because we enjoy visiting Cote Brasserie.

Lovely lovely dinner, great service. Will definitely return. Steak frites and chicken main courses were excellent as were the chocolate mousse and chocolate fondant for pudding. Atmosphere was great also. Highly Recommended.

Lovely lunch, had the three course specials. Lovely lunch, and service. Up two flights for the loo, but there is a disabled one on ground floor.

First visit to Cote Cheltenham, have previously been to Cirencester which was great. Unfortunately we were disappointed- it was very very busy, it felt like the staff had not anticipated the onslaught. Services was slow, starter (the bread with caramelised onions) was dry and cold, main course (steak & fries) was good. We were planning to have desert but gave up waiting for a waiter to come and take our order. Could have easily walked out without paying, had to physically go and pay at the entrance. We did complain and they did not charge us for the starter. Just a shame really, the Cirencester restaurant was much better.

Once again i enjoyed a first class set lunchtime menu in Cheltenham the only minus was no papers were available and the peach crumble were not available.

Food and service were excellent; my only complaint would be the restaurant is very noisy due to the lack of soft furnishings, making it difficult for a table of two to have a comfortable conversation without shouting. Could something be done to address the acoustics of the restaurant?

All good except the white wine that was not properly chilled. Had supposedly "been in the frig overnight". If so the frig needs looking at.

Food and service were very good, but the table was in a very noisy area, near the plate clearing area. There was a lot of to-ing & fro-ing and clattering of china etc. Other visits on different tables have been better.

I like the atmosphere at Cote & it's a good venue for dinner with a friend or two. On this occasion the food was ok but not great. The flavour of the Heirloom tomato salad was down to the dressing & not the tomatoes which were bland and possibly not ripe enough; it needed bread to soak up the juices as the 'croutons ' were more like breadcrumbs. Reminiscent of the asparagus offered with a fanfare at the start of the season which was very disappointingly shards of a handful of skinny spears. Two or three fat spears with a dribble of melted butter would have hit the spot.

Used this place before and always pleased with the food, service and downstairs atmosphere. First time for Early Evening Menu, good value, quality and prompt service for a quick turn around.

The service was efficient and polite, and I enjoyed the goats cheese salad. The ambiance of the restaurant was good and the decor good. My friend and I had a very pleasant lunch.

The whole experience was excellent. The ambience of the restaurant is very relaxed and the layout of the restaurant gives a feeling of space - the tables are not crowded together. The menu was quite extensive and the food itself first class. The service was attentive without being overbearing.

We enjoyed the evening: staff were very welcoming and attentive, though the waiting staff were proecedural (and smiling) but with very little humour. (Perhaps that is a cultural issue, where there was good communication, but evidently lost in translation. The bill was as expected, but I do think adding a service charge onto the bill is presumptuous; why not let the customer decide? I will was willing to pay the gratuity, but please do not force the customers' hand! We had the god fortune to eat in your Brighton restaurant last week; tonight in Cheltenham, the food on the whole was better.

Lovely staff, very friendly and helpful. Our party's meals were satisfactory apart from the salads unfortunately. Rough off cuts of lettuce and no dressing. Not to the same standard as other meals.

Service from Gabriel was superb attentive but not over the top. Food was excellent as usual. Good value and cooked perfectly. We will come again. Thank you.
