Friendly professional staff. Attentive but not intrusive. Great choice from the A la Carte menu Delicious food. Great company. Centre of beautiful Chester. What more do you need?

Sadly we had a poor meal, which is the first time after many great lunches in chester cotes. Problem with the starter was quickly rectified and team were very apologetic. However our fish main was very poor quality and bland. Not the usual high standard. Manager was very attentive and keen to resolve. He went above and beyond to give us a delicious desert on the house and rectified the bill which was very much appreciated and we left ready to book again in may.

Food was amazing, lovely atmosphere. Only thing I would say is the food came so quickly we had 3 courses in just over an hour so it felt a bit rushed, the waitress was a bit too keen... plates cleared whilst still chewing let mouthful & took the money the minute I put it on the table and didn’t offer to bring back my change, just assumed it was a tip even though 12.5% had already been added to our bill as service charge (quite a lot for a table of two) would eat here again though.

The restaurant was fine and service adequate but I felt the food was pretty ordinary and was surprised by this as it had lots of very good reviews which is why I booked it. It wouldn't be somewhere I would go again or recommend as my whole experience was very underwhelming. Sorry!

The meal was excellent and we were not rushed. However I was a very disappointed that we were charged for one of the " complimentary " kir royales.

Very good dining experience. Excellent service, very good food, buzzy atmosphere and very good value for money. I have been several times and it has been consistently very good.

Really busy but service fast and efficient food divine . Only 1 minus gratuity is added . You can choose not to pay , but I personally do not like it and if you don’t check your bill you could end up tipping twice !

I got the table I requested, service from all the staff very pleasant. Menus choice good. Food excellent. Very enjoyable. Would I go again, ? Yes definitely.

Excellent meal and service, the set lunch menu is great value for money. This was our fourth or fifth visit and I'm sure we will be back again soon.

Really looked after our party which contained a vegan, a vegetarian and two with peanut allergies. Thanks to the manager and staff for their attention and help.

Nice welcome a lovely glass of Kir Royale brought immediately to our table. No rush to order - given time to enjoy our aperitif and browse the menu. Good food and pleasant service

A warm welcome followed by excellent service and outstanding, good value food. A welcome return visit and it certainly won't be the last. Not sure about the "optional 12.5% service charge being added, I prefer to add gratuity myself.

Absolutely brilliant - staff were more than helpful and the food was delicious and really well priced. Highly recommended for lunch or dinner - we have been back 3 times!

Lovely evening spent at Cote Brasserie Chester. Very friendly and helpful staff, also very attentive. Food delicious, including our gluten free customer. Creme caramel and creme brulee absolutely amazing.

Food of a high standard. All 5 diners happy. All staff were polite and courteous. Ambience of restaurant very good. Good wine list but all as you might expect are French.

Top food, absolutely delicious! Had the charcuterie starter and the duck main. Very good service. Only thing temperature was on the warm side. Definitely will return.

Absolutely incredible food, really impressed. A few mix ups on the night around us, waited for out mains but didn't care wasn't in a rush as you shouldn't be when out with a loved one, took our time. I had the special menu, could not fault a thing, definitely going back! Service was great, manager came over to chat about the food, should of thanked the chef. Good food, wine, atmosphere

As good as ever: we always have great food and service, and the lunch menu is exceptional value. The sea bass from the March menu was beautiful.

Love this restaurant, Staff are brilliant and food of a very high quality. We return frequently and my Mum loved it as a pre Mother's Day treat.

This was our second visit to cotè really enjoyed our meals,yet again lovely service. Will definitely be back again! Food is soo good would highly recommend this restaurant!

The food was delicious as always. Staff were attentive and very pleasant. Slight mixup with the side dishes which was handled very well by the waitress.

Excellent restauraunt. Superb food with friendly attentive staff. The atmosphere was pleasant, not too noisy or quiet. We can't wait for the next special occasion in order to book again. It's reasonably expensive but you get what you pay for. Thumbs up and well done to all at Cote.

Thoroughly enjoyable evening! The service was attentive but not overbearing; we were helped with wine choices, the team built a good rapport. The menu was interesting, not overly expensive and the was food excellent - the Breton fish stew and the monkfish were particularly good. Overall excellent value for money. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Cote in Chester...in fact I already have, several times!

Went for Saturday lunch and the service was fast and efficient. The food was tasty as expected from Cote. There were so good vale lunch deal.

We had a great time at Cote Chester as for the service no complaints, they are very helpful.The food is excellent there is no waiting for the food to turn up it came hot and is very delicious. Will go there again.

Impeccable personal service from the minute on steps inside. Lovely season food as ever - never rushed but equally if customer’s time is limited this is never a problem either.

We had to wait a long time for meals. Over an hour since we arrived for starters. Staff apologised but no discount offered which was dissapointing.

A comfortable, informal atmosphere. Food was simple and well executed but overpriced - especially the starters and side dishes. A reasonable selection of wines but these are also overpriced. The serving staff were all very young, inexperienced and impersonal and made no attempt at conversation. Frites were heavily over salted.

As usual very good food,nice service.Cote seem to be able to get the right balance of quality price ambience .The manager in Chester was very good.

Excellent food and standards, friendly,attentive staff, relaxed warm atmosphere and music with French feel, downstairs dining area much better than upstairs, which I feel is too bare and cold and always prefer downstairs. Thanks for great food and experience again!

Great food and even better service. Cote in Chester is all round excellent. Arta our waitress was first class. Certainly recommend this restaurant to anyone
