Lovely atmosphere. Not sure about the lump of gristle in my meal, mentioned to waitress but said Don't know what that would be!!!. My crumble was only Luke warm but my husbands was very hot. Sorry to complain we do like this restaurant

The food and service were brilliant - as usual! Cotes offers a gluten free menu as well which is much appreciated. Excellent value for money :)

Excellent as always. Great food, cleanliness and hospitality. Have always enjoyed my frequent visits. The lunchtime menu is great value and the choice of wines are perfect.

Six of us all had full English breakfast with tea and toast. Very efficient service and we enjoyed the whole experience. The surroundings are very pleasant and Cote is very near the centre of Chichester, so very handy for shoppers.

As always this is an excellent, good value place to eat as the food choice is lovely, the quality superb and the service is always great - the fixed menu is the best deal.

Staff and food great (except dessert was a little disappointing) and are both of a high standard. They need better specials as the main menu does not change and as we eat there at least once a month the a la carte and special menu are the same dishes with nothing new.

Great food and great service too. We had our free bottle of wine for joining the reward scheme and they also gave the Birthday girl a free drink which was nice.

Cote Brasserie is always excellent. Friendly welcome; prompt, friendly and efficient service; very delicious food from a good choice of menu; nice atmosphere - everything was just fine. We even received a glass of kir royale each because I'd recently had a birthday.

My starter was overcooked and cold and should have been hot and my main chicken with couscous the couscous did not taste very nice so not totally happy.

Sadly we shared the restaurant with a massive birthday party which was raucous and we could barely hear ourselves talk over the noise of their revelries. We had taken a couple for whom it was their first visit, on our recommendation, and quite frankly we were embarrassed to have taken them with such noise going on.

Excellent service as always. Good choices on all the menus. Real value for money ! We have eaten at the Chichester Cote many times....there are many restaurants in the town but this one is top of our list !

Could not fault the meal and service - steak and frites. But why, if I do not want to buy a bottle of red wine, do I only have the choice of 2 wines by the glass. I am sure a house wine by the carafe ( of different sizes) would be popular.

Had a lovely meal yet again, we had the set menu , £10.95 for 2 courses and £12-95 for three is brilliant value for the choice and quality you get .Service is first class. Looking forward to Saturday as we are having breakfast there to , they are the best breakfast in Chichester for quality and value.

Good food , good service, good atmosphere. Restaurant almost full despite being Monday lunchtime with an abundance of other restaurants around. Surely a good sign.

Only spoiled by a poor quality Merlot. Every thing else excellent. Duck breast with lovely cherry sauce. Cooked beautifully pink. Service attentive and very pleasant.

Lovely food and exceptional service. From start to finish we had a lovely experience. The staff were lovely and attentive and my fish soup was delicious and my swordfish was great. The wine was delicious too.

A lovely evening but my Sirloin Steak was very chewy. I mentioned this to the waiter, and my meal was removed from the bill with no questions asked. Very impressed with the service. Thank you

The service was very good but not over baring which I much prefer. My wife and i both enjoyed our mains of pork belly although my wife found her starter of calamari slightly greasey. Overall an enjoyable experience.

The meal was fine I asked for a starter that wasn't on the menu and it was made for me service was good Our waitress was very pleasant

Good service and good food. The only thing stopping getting a 6 was that our table of 5 felt like a table of 4 with an extra place added instead of say a table of 6 with one less. Also, the gents loo was a bit of a hike to find and the 'easy' access toilet the manager offered my father wss blocked by chairs, high chairs and waste packaging.

The service was very good, and the food was good as always. White Wine had to be sent back as it was warm. it would be good to get a decent table having prior booked rather than one near the thoroughfare.

A very good chain with a good standard of service & food, no matter which branch you use. Good steaks, pork belly & the iced berries with white chocolate sauce is a favourite dessert

Limited choice of wine by the glass. Calamari rather salty and the burger was basically burned. On the positive my husband thought the boudin and belly of pork were very nice.

Great evening with some good food and wine. Service was good as well. There was a group of four of us and we all enjoyed our perfectly cooked meals. We will return.

Honestly, the best restaurant in Chichester. Staff are so attentive. Food delicious. Pre theatre menu and breakfast are faves. Veggie breakfast is super tasty. Brilliant value too.
