Thoroughly enjoyed our first experience for my partners birthday, great food and service. Highly recommend it and a special thank you for the extra effort,
Once again my guest and I were made VERY welcome and given a "favourite"/preferred table. The service and attention to detail for our comfort and enjoyment throughout was EXCELLENT and our meal delicious and perfectly "balanced" for our requirements. We each ordered: Crab & avocado starter; "Pot au chocolat" for dessert; & a glass of no: 7 from your wine list - Sauvignon Blanc. Also we were served a complimentary Kir Royale before our meal. Thank you. I shall certainly continue to bring both friends and guests to Côte Chichester and to thoroughly recommend that other intending diners should book tables and eat there! I look forward to my next visit(s). Once more, very many thanks. All good wishes to everyone. You should be very proud of your Staff and Chef!!!!
Great food and lovely staff, easy to book online.decent range of dishes to choose from. Good to get freebies via cotes reward scheme especially free drinks
Very good as always. Excellent food and first class service. We would have liked to stay longer. the chicken dishes were beautifully presented, and the fish exactly right.
Excellent French cooking and good wines. The service is always very friendly and waiters will do anything to please. Complimentary tap water provided without asking

Great as always. Cote is a really good restaurant and they look after you extremely well. Great value for money. A top choice what you feel like eating.
Great service and good value, tasty food. Serving staff attentive and friendly without being 'in your face'. Good atmosphere and quiet enough to have a conversation.
Great service, great gluten free menu. One dish a little salty otherwise perfect. Loved the attention to detail and friendly staff. Visited on a busy Saturday night.
The service was very good. I was a little disappointed with the children's menu though. I think it would be better if you added deserts to the children's menu as we never go out for a meal without them looking forward to the desert. My daughter didn't eat a lot of her chicken as the chargrilled flavour was too strong for her but my son loved his cod gougons. They shared an adult desert which was they enjoyed but I feel they should cater for the kids a little better. My mum ordered the risotto but it was fairly bland apart from the strong garlic flavour. I enjoyed my chicken and frites but adding separate veg portions to the side is a little costly. We thought it was nice to be asked if we didn't mind paying the 12.5% service charge which was automatically added to the bill. I would eat there again.
The restaurant reasonably vey busy but service was friendly and reasonably swift. Themenu is good value for money. The crab and avocado starter was delicious!!
We had a very pleasant lunch today everyone was attentive from first entering the restaurant to being served our meal which we all enjoyed together with a complimentary kir royal. Many thanksgivings
Always great food and always great atmosphere! Service is always great here and super friendly can't wait to come back highly recommend to anyone in the area
We go there regularly for pre theatre meals which are always delicious, probably due high turnover, therefore, fresh tasting and the staff are warm, welcoming and professional. We have started to go for brunch on Sundays one or twice a month. The brunch has a varied menu, excellent value and is generally well cooked. However recently, some of the items on the plate have felt that they have been hanging around and overcooked. One sausage was under cooked and sent back. We give evening meals a 6 but the inconsistency of breakfast 4/5. This makes us less confident to come as regularly as have done in the past for brunch at weekends. The staff are always very good at dealing with issues.
Rather cramped table for 5 of us, probably only suitable for 4 people. Very nice food and good service, but noise levels made across- table conversation difficult, need some soft furnishings to deaden the clatter!
Every aspect of our visit was up to expectation. Wide and varied menu served expertly. We enjoy bringing our friends and relatives to Cote here in Chichester and in Brighton.
A wonderful restaurant in a great location in Chichester close to the Cross and centre of town which always seems to be buzzing. This was for a school reunion lunch meal. We all agreed the menu, food and wine were wonderful yet again.
We arrived on time and were expected. Friendly reception we were shown to our table, a gluten free menu was offered without needing to ask and water was provided. We both eat Poulet Grille, which was delicious and the GF meal arrived with a small flag on to identify it. Good choice of wine, a shame they don't do a half litre carafe but a glass each was sufficient. Having ordered black coffee we were brought white, but minor issue and speedily resolved. Staff were attentive but not intrusive. A very pleasant stop for lunch.
Welcoming, good service, liked the food, didn't hurry us - three women we kept nattering long after finishing our coffee. Restaurant is clean, so are the loos!

Went for lunch with eight friends, most had the set menu which had a good choice of dishes and all chosen were good. Staff friendly and efficient and meals good value
Very disappointing as the fizz in our Kir wasn't fizzy. The service was pretty poor - need more staff now that the summer is upon us.
We went here for Fathers Day lunch and had a really amazing time! The food was cooked well and presented lovely. I will certainly be returning to this restaurant again
Service was great but the steak was very fatty, I was thinking this just as another customer was complaining about it, so it wasn't just me, the server took the cost of the bread off our bill but it's put us off coming back in the future.
On entering the restaurant until leaving the meeting/greeting & service was impeccable. The food was excellent/the dessert (Creme Caramel accompanied with the dessert wine was sublime), this was complimentary but was the best dessert I think I have tasted anywhere. My wife & I keep going back because it is such a fantastic place to go, buzzing atmosphere with staff that satisfy your every need. I look forward to my next visit. Thank you.
I have lunch at Cote Brasserie, Chichester once a month and I always enjoy the experience. The food is excellent and the fixed price menu is very good value. Today the service was slower than usual, which did not matter to me because I was not under time pressure. Usually the service is good and the staff are well trained and pleasant.
Top service. Staff are always friendly and very helpful. Food is excellent, tasty and hot. Overall experience is that we will always come back and dine here.
Friendly, good food and great service. The manger was very attentive and had a good vibe with his staff, birthday kit was a good idea attracted us for lunch
There were four of us in our party and we were all delighted with both the food and the service. We had reserves a table by the window and it was waiting for us when we got there.
Early evening set menu amazing value. A good choice of dishes with reasonable portions. Complementary water and linen napkins are a good touch. Wine list is adequate, the recommended muscadet went well with fish and the kir royals enjoyable with the pate starter. Good French food professionally served, my favourite of all the chains available in Chichester.
as alway the quality was good and it was excellent value for money . Service was very prompt and polite. The lattes are the best
Food was excellent, one of the best places to eat in Chichester. The standard of food and the whole experience is a pleasure from start to finish.
very busy and meal arrived very quickly, although we had to wait ages for a bill. However food was up to the usual good standard.
The Service, atmosphere, and decor were all excellent. The food too was very good with one exception. The Salad Nicoise was poor, very few olives or green beans, and very bland. The other three in our party were all very pleased with the food and it's good value. Busy time early evening in Chichester but service excellent and with a smile.
We attended as a party of 7 persons. The welcome was warm and friendly and the service was excellent. The restaurant was well laid out. The food was good, though not exceptional and the menu was rather limited, though more than adequate. In general terms a good evening with good food, in good surroundings with good, friendly service.
Excellent as usual and one of my favourite local restaurants. Food very good and service excellent, a good lively and friendly atmosphere. Well worth a visit.
I went with 2 friends for lunch because I had an offer of complimentary Kia Royale to celebrate my birthday. We enjoyed the lunch very much, the food and Kia Royale were good and the service excellent. When we asked for the bill we had been charged for 3 drinks but only received a refund for one. We told the waitress and the mistake was immediately corrected. This was the second time we'd had an experience like that and it's very upsetting.
Lovely restaurant with a good atmosphere. The staff are friendly and attentive, food is excellent with a wide choice of options. We eat there regularly and are never disappointed.
Tasty food, very good service, very popular venue and theatre menu just the ticket and great value for money. Would not hesitate to recommend it.
Very pleasant staff and great service. Had pre theatre meal which was nicely cooked and good value. Ambience of bistro pleasant and seemed very popular.
We visited the Cote Restaurant in South Street Chichester on a Friday evening for a pre theatre meal, there was a good atmosphere, the food was well presented and good value for money.
We always have a good time at Cote: food very tasty, wine good, all very reasonably priced and best of all the staff are so helpful and friendly. What more could you ask?
Busy but friendly restaurant with exceedingly efficient service, and great food. We went for pre-theatre dinner and both enjoyed our choices, though serving sizes smaller than we are used to
We are regulars at Cote in Chichester and it's always a great experience - the welcome, the staff, the service and food.....and excellent omelettes too!

Have had better at Côte Brasserie, Chichester. We all had one of the specials of the day Salmon with asparagus and new potatoes. The salmon was cooked well but the asparagus was hard and the new potatoes were floury. The dessert of summer fruit pavlova was ok but we have certainly enjoyed better. One portion of salmon was much smaller than the other three. We will return to Chichester again and hope for better next time.
. Cote is where we take friends to because we know we can rely on excellent service and superb food. We have never been let down and occasional bonuses such as free glasses of kir royale are rather nice.
Good attentive service, good value for your money. However this month's menu was not very exciting: too many salads! Will go back again, I like the ambiance.
Yet another excellent meal at Côte Chichester. Staff always very pleasant and happy to help. Côte is our favourite restaurant in Chichester. We also enjoyed our complementary drinks
Great service, great food - always a pleasure to eat there. The portion size is good - not too big - just right! Highly recommend the creme caramel - delicious!
As always the food, service and atmosphere was great. Since we visit this restaurant so often it is difficult to offer original comments each time. I imagine we would only have something more to say if we were disappointed!
Excellent food and service. Good atmosphere but rather noisy as it was so busy. However, my 4 companions for dinner enjoyed the experience so full marks.
The 'front of house' manager was extremely helpful with my friend's request for ' no garlic'. He made substitutes available at no extra cost and was very friendly.
Went for lunch with eight friends, most had the set menu which had a good choice of dishes and all chosen were good. Staff friendly and efficient and meals good value
