Excellent service at Cote Chislehurst. Lovely staff who always make us feel welcome.

Great staff, nice atmosphere and the best vegetarian ever! (And I'm not even vegetarian haha!). Looking forward to returning after this lockdown

Excellent food and ambience and service, as always. Never fails to provide a good night out. Had a great 35th Wedding Anniversary and thank you for the complimentary kir royales!!

Disappointed. Had the French breakfast, which is usually a firm favourite - but today it wasn’t great. Everything on the plate was over cooked. The mushroom was tiny, there was only a spoonful of scrambled egg which was more like an omelette it was so over cooked. It was even brown on the bottom! Black pudding was hard and dry... no jam. Overall the food was not up to usual standard.

We had a very enjoyable meal overall. My daughter loved her chicken and my father loved his steak. However, there are 3 small issues to share: 1 we were not shown the specials but the table behind us was, 2 the choice for vegetarians was poor, 3 I requested an easy access table for my elderly father and our table was up a flight of stairs. We enjoyed the meal but some issues worth sharing.

Lovely. The first time since we’ve had to wear masks in restaurants that we haven’t felt like we were in Chernobyl. Staff were just excellent and so attentive.

The waitress was excellent. Breakfast was good but fried eggs over done and mushrooms diced small (why?) and ver greasy. My daughter enjoyed her croque Madame. We will come again.

Excellent meal - from the seasonal aperitif to the coffee. Very good choice and great to have the specials.

Love Cote usually as have visited many However was a little disappointed today as our desserts were dry and stale and coffees forgotten - enjoyed our mains and we got free coffees for the confusion. Still had a lovely afternoon though and sat outside as we were two separate households

We had a baby with us and they were very accommodating. Staff were incredibly friendly and chatty to both us and our child.

The restaurant felt warm and cosy with lovely low lighting, which was welcome given the awful weather outside. My friend and I both enjoyed our main course and dessert, and a drink or two! My friend texted me when we had got home to say they forgot our tomato and onion side dish. We were too busy chatting for me to realise. Other than this the service and welcome was lovely and we will be back soon.

Lovely meal, delightful waitress, perfect for my mother’s birthday,. Secluded booth for 6, high hygiene precautions and a real hint of France thank you!

Consistently good, service excellent, and good choice on the menu. Enjoyed this months specialty dishes, it makes a change especially if you are a regular customer - we get regular monthly updates. Good choices of reasonable priced wines Both the Chislehurst & Hampstead branches can recommend, as we expect the others are equally good. Looking forward till our next visit. Staff as always were excellent, and make us return again and again. Food was also very good, however, the sirloin steak was very tough. It was offered to be replaced, and was in fact removed from the final bill without any further complaint, so I must commend the after service, and can't lost a whole mark for that. Hopefully that was a one-off as I've had the steak before and it's been a lot better. Thanks again. See you soon.

This was the first time I had been out to lunch in a restaurant since the beginning of 2020. Having a meal in Cotes was one of the things we had missed most during these trying months. We stayed far longer than we would normally done - we felt so comfortable.

Overall the food was stunning, had a lovely experience. Waiter and manageress went above and beyond

Great mixed fish stew/soup, just OK burger. The bouillabaisse like stew I had was fab. The burger was over cooked for medium, came with a bun and chips that were asked to be left out and nothing was offered to replace the chips. Love Cote - just don't get a burger!

Excellent meal, service slow. Waited quite a long time from bread to main course. We weren't in a hurry, so wasn't a problem.

Slightly disappointed that we were unable to have our complimentary cocktails - offered a sparkling wine instead. Bill incorrectly included a red wine and we had to this corrected.

My wife, daughter and I visited this morning, we had a great experience. I’m sad I missed the name of our server, he absolutely made our experience. Fun, friendly and helpful, what a great person to serve us. Please pass on our thanks!
