Côte Cirencester

We reserved a table for 8.30pm arrived at 8pm. We were told table wasn't free so went for a drink around the corner and said we would be back at 8.30pm for the table. When we went back at 8.30pm we were sat at a very small table in the foyer. When we asked why, we were told that our table had been given to other customers. When my husband complained for a second time we were eventually moved which delayed us ordering our meal as we had to wait for the table to be cleared. We had friends with us who were visiting so we weren't pleased with the service.

Lovely lunch at Cote Brasserie, Cirencester. Food and service was fab as always. Restaurant was busy so definitely worth booking. Weekday lunch and early evening menu is particularly good value

Out of our normal area (Farnham) where we use Cote frequently we trusted the Cote level of food and service to make a booking at Cirencester for my wife to have a lunch with an elderly cousin whom she does not see often. As always with Cote an excellent menu, first class service and as always well prepared and served food.

Excellent meal served by Attentive Waiter. Buzzing ambience but not intrusive. We had different Main Courses all of which were to a high standard. Good experience all round. We will return.

Amazing food and great service. We'll definitely be back. It was a special birthday me made even better by a great entrecôte and lovely waitresses.

We were a party of six meeting again after an holiday last year. Cote Brasserie in Cirencester was brilliant, giving us a warm welcome, superb. friendly service and excellent food. We had lots to talk about so appreciated the relaxed, unhurried atmosphere, especially at Sunday lunchtime.

It proved a very enjoyable evening out for the two of us. We found the staff very friendly and helpful. The food was very tasty and well presented..

Yet another enjoyable visit to Cote in Cirencester. The food and flavours are amazing!?! Espically the £12.95 menu. The service as always excellent. Can highly recommend!

Nice modern restaurant buzzing with activity on a Friday evening. Just a little too busy for us as service levels were a bit patchy. That said, we will be back.

My friend and I had a thoroughly enjoyable lunch at Cote. It is a lively restaurant, great atmosphere and very well presented. The menu choice is great, lots of dishes available and specials too. The staff were friendly and attentive. We received a very warm welcome and the service was excellent. The meal itself was delicious. Couldn't fault it.

We were warmly welcomed and offered a choice of tables. We were treating a friend for her birthday and it was her first visit to Cote. She was very impressed and thoroughly enjoyed her lunch as too did we. A big thank you to our waitress Dommie who had that perfect balance of friendliness and professionalism.

We are regular customers at Cirencester Cote. We always get very good food, excellent service and really friendly staff. Now the weather's getting warmer there is a lovely outdoor area to sit in too.

Good quality food as ever. Good service from the staff. The only down side was not being able to have a coffee as the machine was out of order.

Excellent service, lovely atmosphere and food very good value. The restaurant is in one of the loveliest, old streets in Cirencester within walking distance of all the hotels.

We have been several times now, plus bring friends with us who really enjoyed eating at Cote.Excellent service as usual. Food very good. Will come again soon.

The food was excellent and the service very good. However a rather boisterous party of maybe 12, seated quite close to us, was very noisy and at times it was not possible to hear my friends with whom we were having dinner. This was our third visit to Le Cote, the first time we asked to be moved, again because of noise from another table and the second time was also very noisy. Whilst I understand it is difficult for staff to deal with this problem, in fact one of the waiters apologised to us, I think large parties should not be seated close to customers wanting a quiet and relaxing meal.

Great service and delicious food! My mum was 80 last week and we decided to take a trip to Cirencester for a nice lunch and celebrate.

Four of us met at cote for a very relaxed and reasonably priced lunch. The service was good and suited our needs with good food.

We have used the quando booking system several times to go to our local Cote restaurant. Always very good and enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner there regularly. First class!

Lovely staff, lovely food, lovely evening! We booked online and got a lovely seat by the window. The staff are always so nice and friendly and we had a beautiful meal.

As always the service was fine, and the food was what we wanted. The new menu has several interesting dishes that I want to try, which is unusual in most restaurants for a picky eater like me - I normally struggle to find one or two that take my fancy in most restaurants.

May menu ok, but where have the moules gone? Puds. selection unchanged for third month running on the daily menu. How about a June special pud?

The food was excellent, and would have been perfect but it was very busy and too few staff serving which meant substantial delays which was unfortunate. One of those occasions when you expect it to be quite and we all decide to go out to eat!

Waiter very attentive. Food was good, slightly cold, could be the journey it has down the stairs. Doors to outside area at the back were open, smoke came in from the outside smokers which wasn't pleasant for those of us who don't partake. They were closed as it got cold. We had a birthday today and was given a lovely note in chocolate.

Very poor service, food was pretty awful. Tart tartin was dreadful. Not happy about the service charge being added onto the bill, especially when we experienced really poor service.

We always enjoy our visits to Cote and so do our friends. The food was very good as was t he service, possibly a little slow in producing the entrees but it was Saturday night.

A lovely meal served by pleasant staff.It was my Birthday and it was made special with my desert being served with a candle and Happy Birthday written on plate.

Lovely environment, very attentive staff even though it was a very busy evening. We Will definitely be returning to this restaurant as lots more to try from the menu.

Went on a Friday evening and had the "early evening" menu. Good food, nice atmosphere, helpful staff and not pushed to leave in a hurry.

Service was very poor; we had to wait 20 minutes before we were asked if we wanted a drink. Then our starters arrived 20 minutes apart. Food when it arrived was good. Unluckily we were sat next to a very noisy hen party. Situation was somewhat retrieved by the manager who was very apologetic and didn't charge us for the food. Unfortunate evening; we have been before and it was very good if noisy.

Food and service as excellent as ever. We always enjoy our visits to the Cirencester branch. We have visited other Cote restaurants in many parts of the country.

Great atmosphere and generally the food was good although the fish main was dry and a bit disappointing. Overall though, nice evening,and the service was attentive.

Very good value, rewarding food and good friendly staff. We thought the lighting was a tad full-on, a dimmer could usefully be employed to improve the atmosphere. Otherwise, spot on!

The food was excellent but it was busy and incredibly noisy, so much so that we had to shout to hear each other. Service was a little slow too. We left straight after eating our main course to find somewhere else to have a drink, dessert and talk. Unlikely to go back to that Cote.

Quite a busy evening so service slower than usual. 9 of us for a birthday meal. Free kir cocktails supplied. Friendly waiter. My fillet steak rare came as a medium sirloin with sauce not ordered, but I didn't send back as everyone else had their meals. Paid bill and service charge. Check bill next day and we had been charged £45 for "free" kir cocktails plus 12.5% extra for service.

Great way to start the day! Lovely welcome, great service and perfect breakfast. I had the full English breakfast and my wife the French breakfast, but I ate her boudin noir. Looking forward to the next time.
