Excellent all round I just object to the 12.5% tip being added to the bill automatically. I know I can choose not to pay it but I still object to it. It's not my fault that the restaurant pays its staff poorly. I'm paid poorly but no one gives me a tip.
Great atmosphere on a Friday night, relaxed, competent service and excellent food. Friends who came with us had not been before and were very impressed.
food and service were both excellent. Our waiter was excellent - very attentive but not too much. The whole meal was very enjoyable. Good choice of food and wine.
Excellent service and great food as always. Lovely setting and always busy so a great atmosphere, one of only two places I would eat in Cirencester.
Great addition to the food offer in Cirencester. Friendly staff, excellent service and the food is really good and fairly priced. Becoming a place we visit far to often
We enjoyed the Cote breakfast formula this morning and were impressed with the welcome, the gluten free choices, the presentation and quality of the food. The waiter was quietly attentive and we look forward to our next visit to this restaurant.
I went with a friend for the early evening three course dinner. Excellent and friendly service, enjoyed the food very much, and with a drink, coffee and service ( added nearly 10% due to cash situation!) we paid £22.50 each. My only advice would be that with the fixed price menu the portion size would not suit those with large appetites like my son and husband. They find the a la carte more to their liking.
I am happy to say that the overall experience was good. excellent attention from the staff. My only criticism concern the starter of Moules, the muscles were very small, about 20% of the shells were empty, the only redeeming feature was the sauce, which was delicious.
Took mother in law for breakfast and she loved it. Eggs Benedict all round and plenty of coffee. Becoming a must visit place every time we are in Cirencester
Fantastic meal and exceptional service as always. Cote never fails to disappoint, I can't recommend it enough. The March Specials are all excellent, delicious and worth every penny
Great value for money and great food. Atmosphere and staff really good and a great restaurant to visit when visiting Cirencester. I would thoroughly recommend
Staff seemed to disappear about 10. Hard to pay the bill. Apart from that a very pleasant evening. Food was great. Nice place. I would recommend it.
It was a most welcoming visit, my family enjoyed the food and the venue! The staff were very polite and very helpful. Will be coming again!
Lovely service and quality food - had the beef bourignon and pork belly.. well cooked and full of flavour. Will definitely return again for a meal.
Had to wait 90 minutes for main course with couples around us receiving food within 15 -30 mins. Apologies from staff and cost of food taken off account but would much rather have paid full amount and had meal on time. Complete incompetence. Obviously lost track of order. Should not have happened.
consistently good quality food, presentation and service. On line booking saves us hassle, good selection of wines and as always a friendly welcome on arrival
Good service and good food, but shame it was a little cold. Would definitely return, as I have had plenty of great meals in the past.
Excellent atmosphere and great food! Very reasonably priced as well. Staff very friendly and professional. Been to quite a few Cote Brasseries and this one is one of the best.
The service was brilliant, professional and quick and the food was delicious and perfectly cooked and served. I have visited both Salisbury and Cirencester now and love visiting cote. I can't wait to go again.
Lovely evening, wonderful food from a well balanced menu. We were beautifully looked after by Erin, great service and fabulous interaction, who could want more?
Great evening with lovely food, wide choices and a good efficient service - so busy but staff handled it well and it was a great atmosphere
Seated on time, service a little slow, but with a big varied menu the meal was delightful. Nice sunny day to wine away the afternoon.
Really easy and simple to use booking with immediate reply. Very warm welcome very professional and friendly staff, food excellent quality and value. Would recommend to anyone.
Great food and atmosphere. Very reasonably priced for an every day lunch but great selection that allows it to be the venue for a special dinner too.
IT was quite busy and we were left for long periods of time. IN the end we abandoned waiting for the pudding menu and left. IN addition, they had run out of some of the main courses which seems strange for a bank holiday when they know they will be busy. NOt up to usual Cote standards.
well every looked after and the food was excellent we had a great set by the window and everything went smoothly I am sure we will be back
Excellent friendly service and very good food. No pressure when we just wanted to have starters. Speedy service perfect for a midweek lunch with only an hour.
Excellent friendly service and very good food. No pressure when we just wanted to have starters. Speedy service perfect for a midweek lunch with only an hour.
Lovely venue and staff. Food is just average. Wide choice on the menu but everyone's main was just "ok". Would go again but not for a special occasion
Lovely restaurant with great food in a lovely setting. I would highly recommend this restaurant. The staff were very friendly and the restaurant was clearly extremely popular.
The food is well prepared and served with friendliness by a young and enthusiastic staff who are prepared to go out of their way to help.
We were very happy with the starters, but the mains were both disappointing! The minute steak was very boring and uninspiring, as was the chicken. We had ordered a salad to go with it, but again, very disappointing: it was purely some rocket leaves with some dressing. To be honest, I felt we paid well over the odds for the mains and I could have offered a better meal for much less than 1 meal cost.
Lovely food, great service and good value for money...what more can one want. Highly recommend this restaurant in the beautiful town of Cirencester. The 3 course set menus are a steal.
Delicious food and fresh. Nice staff and ok prices. Will definitely go back to try the lunch three course menu next time. Such good value for money.
It was a good meal. The restaurant was busy and the food took quite a long time to arrive. Our waiter did keep us informed but it was still a bit longer than it should have been
Attentive staff and a great selection of food. The house wine was very drinkable also. Love the free still water that the restaurant offers. Would go back
Great food, especially the apple tart. Booking essential as got very busy later in the evening. Staff really friendly and professional. Voluntary 12.5% tip automatically added to the bill, so don't pay twice!
I regularly visit Cote Cirencester with family and friends and have had no complaints. Service is always friendly polite and professional. A wonderful addition to Cirencester. My visit on Saturday (for 5 ) was part due to celebrate my sisters birthday. I booked late as I have been away on business and the only tables available for five of us was from 9:00pm. A little late for my mother who is not enjoying great health now. We did turn up about 8:20 to see if by chance a table might be available otherwise we would have come back at 9:00. A small round table was found which is sized for a group of four but we all felt we should press on and were OK with this. The few disappointments were; Of the 3 x Kia Royale Champagnes ordered 2 x were flat because too much cassis. I asked for one to be replaced which is was without issue but same problem and tasted more like a glass of Ribena. My mothers fish pie (a regular choice for her) lacked sauce and had to go back for re-heating but was still not right and she remained disappointed. The 2 x steak frites were over cooked not pink. My steak was wonderful. My brother-in-law didn't complain but unknown to me before he returned to the table had picked up the bill which was not the plan so I was unable to raise my concerns that evening. The evening was packed and was clearly full on for the staff that evening who maintained their friendly and professional approach but together with the kitchen struggled that night. I will be back. Kind regards Charles Gadd
Lovely service from start to finish. Waited a few minutes to be seated but we could see they were busy so we did understand. Once seated our waitress was very attentive, dealt with our (quite specific) meal requests and adaptations very kindly and professionally. Chefs were very accommodating when we requested to change certain elements of the dish which I always appreciate. Overall lovely atmosphere in there and staff couldn't have been more helpful. Would definitely visit again!
Meal was lovely. One of our party ordered another drink which never arrived before we finished our meal but we weren't charged for it. Seemed to be too many people serving our table so think that may have caused confusion.
Cote is excellent as always. The service, the staff and most importantly the food is systematically of quality. There is no unpleasant surprise. Highly recommended
The staff were fantastic as always, polite, on hand, friendly not pushy, the food was very good served quite quickly. I had the fish stew which was extremely tasty but it lacked a side order of green beans or peas~ in hindsight I'll know for next time! I ordered fries to go with it but it actually came with potatoes in which was not stated on the menu. Overall another great meal.
We went Friday night and the restaurant was extremely busy. The food was as always excellent and although very busy the service was very good.
I first went to Cote Brasserie the first week it opened, we love it and go regulary, the food and service are both excellent. It has made a difference to Cirencester. My only negative is the stairs going to the toilets, for some reason they terrify me.
The linguine was cold and tasteless Cote food is normally excellent such a shame 1 bad experience leaves a bad taste - we go atleast two times a week this may need to be reviewed
Our first time time here, recommended by friends and definitely not disappointed! We had the 3 course lunchtime menu which was delicious and perfectly portion sized for lunchtime. Lovely atmosphere, great service, couldn't fault a thing! Our new favourite place 😊
Nice food, that came quickly after ordering, despite the restaurant being busy. Waiter was attentive and helpful. Only slight criticism was there was a bit of a wait to get someone's attention to ask for the bill but once we asked, it came quickly.
We have always received excellent service and delicious food at Cirencester Cote Brasserie. We have visited often and there has always been new and interesting items to choose from for each course on the menu. At busy times it can be quite noisy but the overall experience outweighs this.
The ambience in the Cirencester restaurant is wonderful, a fantastic place to spend an enjoyable evening with your wife, fantastic food & impeccable service, tres bien.
I have been to this restaurant many times and enjoy the food, presentatation and service. Best in Cirencester. A little expensive but worth it. I would recommend prebooking a table as it does get very busy. Enjoy.
An overall excellent experience - good food, as always, friendly, efficient and accommodating staff. The consistency of Cote restaurants has not diminished and this restaurant is a welcome addition to the chain
