Delicious food, well recommended wine and faultless service as usual. Thank you. The new Prestige menu looks interesting. Will try it next time. Hope it is continuing.

This lovely restaurant is great for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The service is wonderful, patient and attentive without being pushy. Good tasty food, things I can eat and I am very fussy. I keep going back.

I've been to this Cote a few times and the food and service have always been good. On this occasion I took my mum for Mother's Day lunch and we both had the pork belly, which was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. The staff were, as always, friendly and attentive and all in all it was a lovely meal. My only criticism is that it does tend to be a bit noisy in there and we were seated near the cutlery / trays etc station and there was a bit of dropping of things and so forth, which was very very noisy, perhaps a rethink on how that area is used. All in all, a lovely meal though.

An excellent meal as always. The Tomates Breton starter was delicious and has even been enhanced since last time with the addition of capers to add some piquancy. The rib eye steak was cooked perfectly. The creme brulee was delicious, with a perfectly crispy thin layer of sugar on top. The waiter helpfully advised against the choice of dessert wine with my friend's chocolate mousse, advising that port would be a much better option - and he was right. Service was genuinely friendly and attentive, as we have come to expect from here. We always have a lovely dining experience here, which is why we keep going back!

This is a charming restaurant in the centre of Dorking - one of the most attractive of all the Cotes we have visited. We went for Sunday lunch which was a most enjoyable experience. As ever we were greeted immediately we entered the restaurant and shown to a table without any problem. Service was good and friendly. throughout the meal. Crab mayonnaise and a garlic bread to start followed by a chicken and walnut salad and sea bass for me. How very thoughtful to have the mayonnaise served on the side rather than over the fish. This suited me as I only like a very small amount of mayonnaise. No desserts this time but some very acceptable decaff coffee. Overall a most enjoyable experience and we will be returning.

It was a very busy evening before a big event at the Dorking Halls and if you did not have a reservation then you were being turned away. Given the level of pressure, the staff were a bit stretched and it was beginning to show. But give them their due they did not panic. The kitchen kept turning out good quality food and the runners from the kitchen kept bringing in the trays piled high and within half an hour things had settled and the potential crisis was avoided. Too many operations can crumble under this kind of pressure but Côte’s organisation and clear processes meant that they sailed through it with only a little effect on their normally very high standard.

The ambience, service and food were excellent. I have a wee niggle that there are no vegetables included on a main plate which puts the bill up quite a bit, and also soft drinks are expensive. Also, on the lunchtime fixed menu, which IS excellent value, it says that the meals are available for early evening, but we took the children there at 4.30 and there was no sign of it. In their favour, the children's menu is as high quality as the adult one, which is not always the case elsewhere, kudos to Cote for that. It's still my favourite of all the bistro chains but I do feel a bit ripped off by the 'extras'.

COTE Dorking was really superb today....the staff are very professional, the service is excellent, the food superb...we had the plaice and also the seabass..the restaurant is spotlessly clean, and well worth a visit. We have eaten at several COTE Brasseries, and Dorking is certainly the best one we have tried, consistently high standards, well run, and very motivated staff who operate as a quite exceptional team...try it for your self...you will not be disappointed..but probably best to book ahead and there is an opportunity to comment if you have any special requests, or allergies..
