Excellent professional yet friendly service! We had very good food from the main menu and specials. Also a wide choice for children with good quality ingredients. Lovely atmosphere, intimate but comfortable.
Normally it is very good but on this occasion it was pretty poor. Under staffed and food was over cooked. They were not busy at the time so there wasn't an excuse
This was a most pleasant experience, the free bottle of wine you gave us did help ! We will return soon! The staffeta are friendly and helpful.
Friendly and attentive service without being too 'in your face' - food was good and relatively quick to come out. Nice to see an extensive vegetarian selection too.
The food was delicious as always, and the main meal was even served up nice and hot! The Manageress was super efficient and friendly. We had a lovely evening.
excellent meal . We had the early evening two courses for £10-95. I had the cod gougions and my husband the chicken with crème caramel for dessert. Scrumptious!! Great Value with a very attentive waiter .
It was amazing evening with my friends. Everything was very testy, very good choice of drinks and meal. Very friendly place. Thank you very much!
Great service - staff are attentive, lovely atmosphere was a perfect setting for Mother's Day and very tasty food we enjoyed it all for brunch
The food was very good but not typically to French taste as you would expect. Service was good but a tad slow but the resteraunt was very busy. Staff all very friendly! Very delicious desserts!
Great food !! However, I don't like the bill surprise of 15% "optional" surcharge for the staff. In the UK it is 10%, and even in the US, where the minimum wage is very low, the tip is not part of the bill, for small parties of people. They probably pay the staff as little as possible and rely on the fact that most people will simply pay up to avoid a potentially embarrassing situation.
Service was slow and disjointed. Seemed to be a very busy time. The bacon and eggs were far too over cooked. The Apple juice was served in a small glass this time.
Food was lukewarm, as was the service! Felt that we were an inconvenience to the staff. Will not be rushing back especially as it wasn't cheap ☹️
Always excellent service at Cote and particularly Ealing. Very good food whenever we visit and good value for money. Looking forward to Cote opening in Bournemouth ;-)
Do make sure you make a reservation or go after 9.30 pm. It is a popular restaurant. they keep the standard of the food high.
Nice ambience, decent food & attentive staff. The early evening set menu offers choice and at £10.95 for 2 courses & £12.95 for 3, exceptional value for money. This will continue to be a regular haunt ...
Very pleasant staff, good quality of cooking and a very nice ambience - overall value for money and reliably good. Cote has never disappointed me.
Excellent service from all staff and nothing is too much trouble. Varied selection of meals with prices to suit all customers. Happy atmosphere - customers+staff.
Vibrant lively branch of Cote. Good service and excellent food, Staff were attentive, The steaks were excellent, as well as the duck. Crème Brulee v good.
Good service and good good. The restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was friendly. Good value for money. We will be returning in the next few weeks.
Staff, atmosphere good. I eat there 2-3 times a week and the one complaint I would have is that the decrease in front of house staff is noticeable. The staff there are diligent and hard working but there used to be more of them and getting a second bottle of wine or ordering deserts used to be more readily done. Don't misunderstand this, you have some excellent staff there many of whom I would consider long term staff. However, it is simply the decrease in staff that is making the experience less pleasant while at the same time prices are obviously going up.
Fantastic value as always at Cote. Service was good and friendly too. Had the set menu but a small change was allowed, which is always nice.
Very busy for a Thursday at 8 but had booked. Manager very competent and welcoming and appears to work well with his team. Spanish waitress efficient aware of customers needs and charming. Well done chef good pork belly.
I absolutely enjoy dining with u. The service is great, the ambience is welcoming. The food is amazing together with the presentation. I have recommended it to friends and family, even to any one who will listen. Thank you for every thing. God bless .
Unfortunately our recent experience was very disappointing. The restaurant was particularly quiet that evening and service was very good however I had to return my main course twice as the pork belly crackling was soggy. We each ate our main course separately!
Lovely atmosphere as usual but food not quite up to scratch - lamb not quite as advertised, ordered gratin but got mash. Very unlike cote Bute for 80 pound not that impressed.
Lovely food- and good atmosphere. My children were very happy with their food too. Very Friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely be back more regularly.
Had a very good meal at Cote in Ealing. The service was friendly and efficient and the food was hot and very tasty. Highly recommend.
Good service and good good. The restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was friendly. Good value for money. We will be returning in the next few weeks.
Very fond of the Cote, Ealing. The service is efficient, friendly, but not intrusive. The food is very good or we wouldn't return. On our last visit my wife was full of praise for the Crab starter and the Calamari was excellent and a decent size portion. The steak's, well what can one say, thats why we go.
A pleasant evening spent with friends where the service was polite and attentive. There was a delay in serving the main courses from the time they were ordered.
We had a thoroughly enjoyable time celebrating our daughter's birthday at Cote, Ealing yesterday evening. The food was delicious ( we always find Cote's food reliable and delightful with something to please everyone.) The service was excellent, friendly and efficient. Granny, age 90 ,enjoyed the dinner too. All in all it was a lovely evening. Thank you, Cote.
Generally the food was good - my only complaint being that the waitress did not ask us how we wanted our steak cooking and when it came it was very rare. However the service generally was good and everything else perfect.
Excellent April menu with balanced choice of fish and meat together with quality salads. Deserts as always not to be avoided ! Ealing Cote excel with their staff who are not only professional but very personable.
V good. Tasty food and fast helpful service. Good selection of wines. Extensive menu. Lunch deal represents very good value for money. Spacious and clean restaurant.
I normally absolutely love this place and come here regularly for special occasions so when Mother's Day was popping over the horizon i decided to treat my mum to a new experience and show her the place i had been raving about. I ordered my usual of the pork and my mum got the half char chicken. I am disappointed to report that this meal did not live up to its previously high set standards, it was almost embarrassing that i had been boasting about the venue to reveal a gastropub standard meal (no offense to gastropubs- im a bug fan- but it wouldn't be my first choice to show my mum how much i appreciate her) My pork was dry and over cooked, the top layer which is usually crisp was soggy and upsetting. Despite having swapped my gratin for purée i was delivered what i would describe as standard underseasoned mashed potato (no lumps though so...) Mother's chicken was succulent and the mushroom sauce device, i don't think she noticed my disappointment. I tasted the chicken myself and didn't think it any special. The dessert was lovely as usual, i went for the tarte fine aux pommes and mum had the frozen berries with melted white chocolate. All in all, this place has amazing food, just don't go here on a busy day because the care for the dishes seems to disappear.
We (a family party of six usually) have been dining at Cote Ealing since it first opened some years ago - always excellent! Cote management has a genius for employing helpful knowledgeable and friendly staff which creates such an agreeable ambience that one is reluctant to leave.
The wine and food were very good. Gluten free options were plenty. The service was friendly. X-factor was missing. We were at your Amersham restaurant only few days ago and the staff attention and friendliness was this factor that made us invite our friends out to their nearest Cotes. Still it was overall good and enjoyable.
Excellent. The staff were friendly, welcoming and very helpful. Very nice food :) nice selection of drinks. Book early as can get very busy! A definite favourite!
It was a double birthday occasion so I had requested a booth. We arrived and were duly given a booth which was great, then two complimentary glasses of pink fizz arrived for us! That was a lovely touch. The service was fabulous and the food, as always, excellent. We have been to Cote quite a few times over the years, but I had not been recently, I was not disappointed - we all had a marvellous evening. Cote is always reliable and always a lovely evening.
Being a regular visitor hard to find anything negative to say. Try the black pudding with caramel apple and poached egg starter excellent combination of flavours.
Excellent service, and the food was great as usual . We were recommended a different wine from our usual and were very pleased with it.
As usual excellent food. Always consistent. Charming staff. Gave us a nice quiet table at the back, away from the hub bub. Would recommend highly
In the end it was a very good evening, food good, service good. The table wasn't the best - long wait initially for drinks order. This seems to be a common fault at Cote Ealing and at other ones too. A pleasant welcome and being seated is followed by a hiatus - as a family or when dining myself I normally have an idea of the drinks order at least, so let's get that under way and start to relax. It wold also be good for the restaurant as they'd probably sell more drinks!
Brilliant service and delicious, well presented food. It is a very friendly and buzzy place to eat. Dmitri, the manager, is so charming. All the staff at Ealing are superb.
great restaurant, fantastic food, easy reservation, very relaxed evening with family, top service, efficent yet discreet staff always on hand for any requests, we always come here for celebrations
A very pleasant evening with a good value meal. Would recommend it to my friends and will definitely visit the restaurant again very soon. Enjoyed the ambience.
Love coming here - our local Cote - for the reliable brasserie fare and the always excellent service. This, our latest visit, did not disappoint.
We've been coming here for years...birthdays, anniversaries, Valentines and Mothers Day...the staff have become friends and the service from all the staff has always been attentive, charming, efficient and impeccable. The food is great value for money and has been consistently great every time!! I have many friends and family that now come here regularly and see what my wife and I said when we said it's the best of the best!! Thanks guys...luvsya
Very smart but a tiny bit darker than I'd like dark, very friendly staff, prices high but likely not more so than similar establishments., food very good
Good service, taste food. Had filet steak, cooked perfectly. Very ambient. Went with the family but the setting meets all needs. Would go back again.
Went for dinner for Mother's Day. Beautiful meal and the staff were lovely. The restaurant was very clean and tidy, only thing I would complain about were the ladies toilets, could do with being checked at times especially as it gets very busy
