A delicious meal and excellent wine, plus very attentive and friendly service. We'll be back!

All the starters were delicious but my friends said the chicken/bacon parmentier was too salty, the rice in the risotto was too al dente (me) but my other friend said the sausage was delicious. As for deserts créme brûlée delicious, dark chocolate too dense. Coffee delicious

Delicious food and attentive servicebut tip should not be added to bill before it’s presented to customer. I prefer to decide the amount of tip I will give .

Excellent food and service as always. I love coming for brunch here. My favourite place in town. Crepe Complete the best breakfast choice. I would definitely recommend it then.

Lovely relaxed lunch with a gorgeous blood orange martini as an apperatif. Separate gluten free menu offering a wide range of choices so my gluten free dining companion did not feel short changed. Food lovely as ever.

Yet again our meals were excellent! The restaurant was very quiet on Sunday early evening. Enjoyed the free gin and tonics - March offer. Will be planning another visit soon!

We booked for Mother's’ Day requesting our favourite table. Arrived to find it booked and ready for us and then followed a delightful lunch, delicious food - excellent and varied choices - and a glass each of kir royale. The staff were charming and efficient and we have to say it was one of the best lunches at Cote, ever. Thank you thank you for a very special meal!

The food was delicious, and beautifully presented. The waiting staff were friendly without being intrusive, and knowledgeable about the menu. Good quality wine at an affordable price. It was a lovely afternoon, thank you.

Had fantastic lunch. Food excellent, service very good. Little bit noisy but didn't detract from a lovely meal. The set menus mean on tight budget you can still get a delicious meal.

Fantastic food, really good service where you are not fussed on too much, left to enjoy food and have conversations but checked on at the right time. I am savouring the tasty food, crab, duck and creme Carmel. It was all perfect, we’ll be back

We were a table of 4. 2 had never visited a Cote before and were very impressed by the menu and quality of the food, and said they would visit again.

Meeting up with friends and we all had a lovely time and everyone enjoyed their meal. The staff were lovely and made up feel very comfortable. Very pleasant afternoon aswe were not made to feel we had to hurry.

We were booked for an early meal so took advantage of the set price menu which runs until 7pm. The choices were perfectly acceptable. I booked online and added that my friend was a veggie person who also had a cheese allergy. The service was attentive and the manager had noted the dietary requirements so that when we ordered he stood by the waiter to make sure that what was being ordered would not include any cheese products. This was very reassuring. All in all I could not fault our experience.

Excellent service and atmosphere even when very busy. Good bistro food. I have always found the staff here so friendly and responsive to specific requests Have been there several times and found consistently high standards.

Very yummy breakfast this morning. Delicious ! Staff as always attentive but not intrusive. Best breakfast in City. If you are looking for a Vegetarian option it's a must. Thank you Cote for a good start to the day !

I ordered a starter and a side for my main and intended to have it with my husband who ordered a main course. The starter arrived but not the main. The waitress was called and very kindly sorted it out. It seems the main was not on the system. The food was excellent.

Excellent service, delicious food and a vibrant atmosphere. Food arrived quickly and was perfectly cooked. Staff were very welcoming, especially the hostess. window seat was particularly nice.

As usual a really good meal in a great atmosphere and surroundings. The staff were as usual very good without being in your face annoying. The girl at the next table dropped her wine glass and they couldn’t have been more calm about it.

Superb dinner in buzzy restaurant, friendly and efficient service, great menu choice. A bit drafty near the door but most tables furher away. We plan return.

Only criticism is that I don’t like the “discretionary” 12.5% added

We really enjoyed our lunch at Cote Brasserie, Edinburgh. The service was very good as was the food. You could not get better vale for money.

Our servers and hostess went above and beyond to make this a special night for us. We were treated impeccably well and the food was delicious. We will absolutely be back!

Lovely place! All fine till the dessert menus arrived then staff disappeared and no one came for our order. We therefore decided not to have anything more.

Always enjoy dining at Cote Edinburgh.Always busy and good atmosphere. Standard of food always good too and always well presented. Have been many times now and also used in London
