Côte Edinburgh

Overall experience was excellent. One small criticism was that the fish pie (parmentier) whilst delicious, was too small a portion on it's own. it would have benefitted from a side of carrot & broccoli or some other vegetable. I was still hungry after the starter & the main. To be fair, when I did point this out to staff & order a side of chips, they didn't charge for the chips.

Welcome when we arrived was very pleasant. The service was very good and food excellent.

Wonderful food in a lovely environment, with friendly & attentive staff. Will most definitely be returning with friends to try more of the menu. The blood orange martini was delicious!

Such a wonderful evening! This was the best dinner experience that we have had in the more than two weeks that we have been in the UK! The atmosphere was superb, the food was delicious, the service was excellent! A truly enjoyable dinner. Thanks so much!

The staff are always welcoming and try to give us the table we want. The food is good quality and well cooked and presented. However, sometimes the vegetables are too al dente! We visit most weeks as we live in Edinburgh. We recommend Cote to friends too.

Our group enjoyed lunch in pleasant surroundings. Convenient city centre location, Staff friendly, efficient and helpful. Hope to return in the not too distant future.

Another excellent meal at Côte. Reliable as ever, with a few new and seasonal choices to add to the mix. My friend enjoyed his escalope de veau and I had the familiar duck breast. Complimentary glass of gin and tonic added to the enjoyment.

Excellent meal and service as usual. Definately be back on my next visit to Edinburgh.

We had a wonderful meal at the Edinburgh Cote Brasserie and both the food and the service were excellent. The atmosphere was welcoming. Highly recommended.

Myself and 5 others were at the restaurant Saturday night. Our waiter was excellent, she was very pleasant and helpful....we were quite demanding lol! nothing was too much trouble for her. Food was absolutely amazing. I had crab for starters, then Lamb and finally Crème caramel. all beautifully served and prepared. We also had a complimentary blood orange cocktail which was also amazing. Cant wait to return here. Thank you Helen

Very much enjoyed . Onion soup great, any main worth a shot ,but crème caramel an absolute must. Great friendly service, happily eat here any time.

Fantastic food, really good service where you are not fussed on too much, left to enjoy food and have conversations but checked on at the right time. I am savouring the tasty food, crab, duck and creme Carmel. It was all perfect, we’ll be back

There is a varied and interesting menu and food was delicious. Very pleasant and welcoming service. Certainly worth a return visit. Good location in Edinburgh city centre.

Had dinner at Côte Edinburgh last night for the first time. We loved everything about it! The menu was fabulous, difficult to decide what to eat due to excellent variety of choice. The food did not disappoint, everything was delicious. Every member of staff was welcoming and very attentive. I also loved the decor, and felt that I was sitting in an authentic French brasserie. This will definitely be a regular haunt!

Very efficient and friendly staff who made our lovely meal particularly enjoyable. No delays, we’ll cooked and seasoned food of really good quality. Reminiscent of my favourite bistro in Vence near Nice.

Lovely restaurant with good service and a varied menu. If we had a criticism it would be the place was a little chilly.

We were a table of 4. 2 had never visited a Cote before and were very impressed by the menu and quality of the food, and said they would visit again.

Not normally this slow even tho' not busy. Food served warm rather than hot.

Lovely food, friendly staff I am gluten free and they accommodate for me extremely well.

We were booked for an early meal so took advantage of the set price menu which runs until 7pm. The choices were perfectly acceptable. I booked online and added that my friend was a veggie person who also had a cheese allergy. The service was attentive and the manager had noted the dietary requirements so that when we ordered he stood by the waiter to make sure that what was being ordered would not include any cheese products. This was very reassuring. All in all I could not fault our experience.

I've never comoleted a Côte survey before but have dined there many times, at many locations around the UK. It is always 1st class both for food, service and value. Thank you.

Very tasty meal early evening at Côte. We have never been disappointed when eating here. Cocktail, two courses, glass of wine and coffee - served by attentive, friendly staff - what more could you want?!

Pleasant surroundings, a nice buzz. Looked after our party of 10 very well. The staff were attentive and helpful. Food was tasty and enjoyed by all. Would go back.

My son, who was in our party, is himself a wonderful chef and very criticall, was delighted with the complete experience.and said he will be returning soon. Gluten free menu was so yummy - spoilt for choice! Food was very tasty and service was great. Nice atmosphere in restaurant too. Will be back!

I ordered a starter and a side for my main and intended to have it with my husband who ordered a main course. The starter arrived but not the main. The waitress was called and very kindly sorted it out. It seems the main was not on the system. The food was excellent.

This is the 3rd time I have visited Cote and with different people and can I say they did not disappoint. The food, the staff and value for money is exceptional. I will certainly be back. Thank you Jackie

Food and service excellent as usual my 5th visit and never been disappointed with food or service.

We really enjoyed our meal here, however three of our party ordered pork belly. Only one out of the three were cooked perfectly. The crackling on the other two were not done correctly.

Really enjoyable family meal. Good food and attentive service. Always a pleasure to eat here.

Our servers and hostess went above and beyond to make this a special night for us. We were treated impeccably well and the food was delicious. We will absolutely be back!

Always a pleasure to eat at Cote. Food and staff unfailingly excellent. Beautifully cooked haddock was complemented by an interesting pea puree. My latte actually tasted of coffee!
