Lovely evening, food was delicious, service excellent! We celebrated my son's 21st birthday and the staff really made it special for him. Thank you all!

We had a nice lunch; we all chose the chicken salad. The menu used to have a lovely chicken breast with potatoes but they have been replaced by white beans. I opted for my favourite frozen berries with white chocolate sauce while my friends chose the peach crumble with ice cream. None of us had either alcohol or coffee, just water. My only gripe was the loud voices of the waiting staff while they discussed stuff at the till near to our table. We did not want to say anything to them. Good value.

Attentive staff. Good breakfast menu. Group of 6 of us and no pressure to eat up and go. Good value "formule" breakfast for under £10. Just need bigger tables to fit it all on!

Reliably great quality French food - I come for the Sunday Roast chicken and struggle to leave without creme brûlée - always great, friendly service - it's not life changing but it always delivers exactly what it says on the tin.

Very nice restaurant. Good food and great service....They serve nice french food which reminds me of home. I can recommend the french bread, rillettes, saucisson and the tarte aux pommes..

Food was excellent and we couldn't fault the service. It was my birthday end my dessert was bought out with a candle and I had happy birthday sung to me. A very enjoyable evening

Green beans arrived with butter I asked for no butter I'd eaten half of my dinner before the next ones arrived which was very annoying

As always, Cote delivered an enjoyable experience for my family at a sensible price. Current menu has some great dishes as well as some old favourites, we'll be back.

Excellent food as we expect from Côte. Pity understanding what is required for lactose intolerance was so difficult... Also gratinated potatoes 'held' were not replaced until we asked then charged

Great staff with great service. Food good except for the watercress which was sent back as old and wilted. Pancakes very chewy....clearly not freshly cooked.

As always good food and service - but menu needs updating- been around too long please change/ amend. The starter was only warm (not hot) plus no bread offered!! The other comment- courses too rushed - we want to enjoy the food and surroundings- it's not a race.

The service with very quick and efficient. The only problem was we waited some while to get the bill and had to remind them. The food was great and the two of us had no complaints on that score

Very welcoming, good atmosphere and staff very helpful. We were on a soecial offer so our waitress ensured we got our order in on time but after that the meal was very relaxed.

Although the food was tasty, both our starters and main courses were not especially hot. In fact my starter and main course was rather luke warm. I had calimari and duck. I'm not sure we will re visit for an evening meal any time in the near future. This is a shame as I feel cote has a very good reputation and the restaurant was really busy which is always a good sign, but none the less, we were a little disappointed as it was for my birthday.

Most enjoyable supper! We had the early deal and it was delicious. Served beautifully and the young efficient waitress even made my husband an iced coffee which wasn't on the menu! So a delightful experience and very reasonable.

Lovely as always, great food and good service. They also adapted a few things on the menu for my children which was so helpful. I would recommend!

Great as ever. Just one small hitch. Ketchup instead of mayo delivered with the French fries. Easily sorted by the waitress with good grace and a smile!

Lovely venue, good service, local parking. Would go again. One slight issue for me is that they add a service charge, I would rather tip, they would have done better on this occasion.

There were six of us plus a one-year old dining early at 18.00 on a Saturday. The food was very tasty and well cooked and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. The staff were friendly and were particularly good and helpful with our toddler.

We were in Esher visiting National Trust properties so finding Cote was a bit of a bonus. The staff were friendly helpful and made our visit a pleasure. The food was - as you'd expect - wonderful!

. The Cote group continue to give the public good value for money with pleasant staff and good quality food . Keep up the good work.

A midweek meal at Cote in Esher was enjoyable. The food was good, with the exception of the pork that was too heavily seasoned with black pepper. The restaurant was quieter than at the week ends and therefore quite relaxing.

Really good service and lovely food. My colleague's tuna was a bit undercooked for his liking so if you choose the tuna nicoise that might be worth commenting on when you order if you also don't like it too pink.

The staff at Cote, Esher were excellent and really enhanced the meal. I took my wife for her birthday and they helped make the meal very special for her with a welcome glass of fizz and a candle in her dessert to surprise/embarass her suitably! We would definitely go back in the future.

Both my steak and plate were served cold, surely it is not too much to heat plates before serving, and then to bring them to the table promptly, The praline crêpe was tough and even the replacement after complaining was tougher! Probably better used to make leather shoes than eat! Was not up to the standard that we have enjoyed at the Kingston branch

Waitress changed off shift so lost continuity of service. However service and food were v good. It is my grandchildren's favourite straight restaurant and we will be back. Hoevet, still think the water glass thickness of glass is to thin as pn her last birthday visit pieces broke off into a 5 year old mouth

It was excellent as always. Delicious food, very pleasant staff and very good value for money. Cote never lets you down and is just the place to spend a happy evening.

Air conditioning didn't appear to be working in the half of the restaurant we were in. Front sliding doors were open but it was very hot. Food and service were excellent as usual but as it was so hot we left before pudding

The food was tasty, as always, and the service was friendly and efficient. The manager went out of her way to find us a quieter, more secluded table.
