Excellent as always at Cote Exeter. The 2nd bottle of red on the wine list is very good and a very decent price. I'll be back again soon!

Excellent breakfast on a lovely Sunday morning - breakfast complete and French toast for my husband served by happy, efficient and attentive staff - what more could you want on a Sunday morning?

Great food ,staff and location never disappoints. Recommended you give it a try. Took baby with us 4 months old room for buggy at table very thoughtful waiter.

Excellent location overlooking Exeter Cathedral. Staff are very well trained and attentive. The food was very well presented and well balanced. The menu offers a wide range of choices and has an additional, seasonal offering. Well worth a visit.

Lovely lunch good value for money especially the offers. Only criticism was the air conditioning was a bit too cool but sadly very common nowadays

Very personal service, made to feel very welcome when we arrived at the restaurant, staff attentive but not too over the top. Food very tasty and there is an excellent choice for a gluten free. Thank you for a lovely birthday experience :)

From the moment that you walk in the ambience and the welcome from the staff makes you feel at ease. The well-trained staff are happy to help you to make a selection from the wide choice available, both for food and wine. The service is as quick as the number of diners allows and the food is invariably to a high standard. It is a most pleasant way to round off an evening in Exeter.

Very good lunch, but we had to move from the window because it was too hot in the sun. The blinds don't fall down far enough to offer shade there.

Never disappoints! This is a brasserie who really know about good fresh local produce and menus that change just enough to keep you coming back again and again!

What's not to like! Great menu choices - something for everyone. The staff are lovely and the location is beautiful - right opposite the cathedral.

This is my favourite restaurant in Exeter. The portion sizes are just right, it means I can have the luxury of three courses. Friendly staff.

Brilliant as always :-). Great food, lovely location and friendly staff. We always choose Cote for special occasions, birthdays and anniversaries, as we know we will always have a good meal.

As usual we had a lovely meal and experience at Cote. The friends who went with us, had never been there before but were very impressed and are keen to go back.

It was a fantastic meal and the staff were charming. We had a great time - a lively busy place but all was very slick.

Lovely setting overlooking Cathedral Green, great tasting food and pleasant atmosphere. Easy to book online. A bit pricey for families but good for a special occasion, or on lunch offers - just wish vegetables didn't cost extra!!

The food was very good but it was rather noisy. We both had duck breast which was excellent. Service was very good. An overall enjoyable experience

We were there during a busy Saturday lunchtime but the service was very erratic. The whole place looks tired and in need of a facelift.

I'm normally very happy with the food at Cote. On this occasion the food was not great. My steak was tough which is hard to achieve with the preparation of very thin steak.

We had a lovely meal at Côte Brasserie with a table by the window overlooking the cathedral. good atmosphere and friendly staff. Will definitely make a return visit.

Lovely meal with friends at Cote Brasserie. third time we have visited. prompt and amiable service. Great value lunch menu, lovely food. Would always recommend Cote Brasserie over other 'chain' restaurants.

Friendly staff, quick service and lovely view from 1st floor. Music far too loud, we did ask for it to be lowered but not sure that happened as difference was negligible. Sound was turned down later when manageress arrived. Our table right beside service point despite restaurant not being full and we should have asked to be moved as staff needed to access glasses and candles etc. Have always highly recommended Cote so was a little disappointed but would ask for a table downstairs next time. Food was good.

I enjoyed a very tasty meal at a very reasonable price. The service was faultless and the ambience of the restaurant was excellent with its wonderful views of Exeter Cathedral and the Cathedral Green. I will be going again very soon.

Cote offered a very imaginative menu at a very fair price. The meals were well presented and delicious. The staff were knowledgeable and interested. Do book though , as you might expect for an excellent restaurant it is absolutely packed.

I've visited Cote several times and have always been impressed. We had a great time on this visit but my food was slightly overlooked and the waiter was a bit offish.

Great food, reasonable price and nice and busy. Would definitely recommend it and will be going again. Waiter professional and friendly. Always a good experience.

We regularly have weekend lunches here and the food is always good. We always ask for an upstairs table. Upstairs restaurant has great views of the cathedral green.

Overall a very enjoyable experience. Just a bit slow with the bill. We go there regularly and enjoy the food. Staff are invariably friendly and generally seem happy in their work

Great food, warm and friendly service. Choc mousse was superb and to die for. Had two small children and nothing was too much trouble. Excellent!

Superb early evening menu - that changes monthly. We visit regularly because we enjoy the atmosphere and menu. We brought friends after the cinema today and you didn't let us down. Great service and delicious food.

Great table upstairs by the window overlooking the cathedral. Great food. We had the pork belly and duck breast. Service was spot on. Brilliant! Will be back again!

Food & service, as always, was excellent. Our only complaint, & one we have with most restaurants, is the "music". Everyone's taste is different & for the most part all you can hear is the thump, thump of the bass. The best background music in a restaurant is that of the diners enjoying themselves.

Visit this restaurant 2/3 times a month, mostly for lunch. Service always friendly and efficient and food delicious and interesting. Reserved complimentary kir royal birthday offer which arrived as soon as we sat down, did not have to remind staff or explain we had booked the offer - very impressed.

Very good lunch on Mothers's Day. Restaurant busy but service was excellent. Fougass starter was very generous and our lamb shanks beautifully cooked. Will definitely be returning.

The service was excellent from start to finish and the food was very nice and good value off the set menu. A glass of wine was a bit expensive though.

Delicious meal, excellent service, slightly disappointed to be charged for bread in a 'French' restaurant, always provided automatically and free of charge when dining in France.

We booked a table for three recently. On-line booking was straightforward and we were given a table upstairs by a window where there is a great view of the cathedral. Good value for early evening dining. Food and service excellent.

Always good value for money - speedy service with a smile. WE love coming here whenever we need a good meal before a concert locally. Don't live in Exeter or would come more often!

As usual good menu and service. The only drawback is the noise upstairs when full. Will try for a downstairs table next time. Good value.
